If you have any questions, please send me a PM.
Due to my limited bandwidth and slow connection to oversea download sites, it takes too long to get new ROM scanned and supported. I need volunteers with knowledge of Odin tarballs and ROM zip packages to help me extracting "useful" part out of the ROM and upload them to speed up the process. Thank you for making this tool better
How to get involved:
1. You need to know how to extract boot.img and system partition files from Odin tarball and recovery flash-able ZIP packages.
2. Pick one of the ROM from the pending list. Please search in thread first to see if anyone is already working on it (and not yet failed). I'll also maintain the list regularly.
3. Search for this ROM on SamMobile or other sources. If you can find it, please reply in this thread in form of "WIP ROM version" so others will know.
4. Download the ROM, extract following pieces:
- boot.img
- /system/build.prop
5. Create a zip file named ROM_version.zip, containing boot.img and build.prop (inside system folder please), and upload it to a mediafire/mega share:
***remove the account, seems it never works***
6. Once done, please update the reply with "DONE ROM version". For any reason it failed or you can't continue, just replace it with "deleted".

You will need root to extract boot.img but it you can do so, yes, please.
Btw, please PM me question instead of reply in this thread. Let's try to keep it clean for just ROM workshop.

getting build.prop for every ROM will require unpacking the whole system partition
If you are searching the fingerprint I believe that it is: 5.0.2/LRX22G/build:user/release-key for all EU/US

Couldn't one just extract the boot img and build.prop from their device an upload? Saves a lot of un needed rom downloading if the user does not need it.

The link wasn't working because LeEco removed all phone's kernel source from their website. Seems strange :/

Le Eco's open source site doesn't has anything now? Is that where the sources were announced? Also, is this really x526's source?

The source code were shown on the list with download link and particular model no. Of the phone. It's not there anymore. LeEco removed it for some reasons. It's strange, and I got this Google drive link from another XDA member's (Lakku) thread. He mentioned it's for x526. Thanks to him. This seems to only working link now

The sources look good. I have downloaded them and have inspected some files. I have built ROMs before. I will try this weekend if these sources work. And as u guess correctly I am also a Le 2 X526 Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 User. Cheers! Anyways thanks for the link.

That's how it was there on the LeEco open source website. But unfortunately they have removed the links from the website.
The link was given with x526 name and when I opened, It showed leS3 folder.
More info any developer working on this sources can give us. Will have to wait.

Hello Friends.
I am a professional kernel developer and programmer.
Many of you would already know me from these forums.
And i would like to inform this to all of you.
I think i know why LeEco took down all the kernels from their website.
Before they took it down, i downloaded all the phone's sources from there.
Then i compiled the le2 x526 kernel using my ubuntu 16.04 fully setup for compilation PC.
Then i got the Kernel Image file as output.
But thats nothing, even buggy non-working kernels cab give a successful output. Any good developer should know this. It all depends on if it boots or not.....
So i didnt rejoice just there. I went ahead and i began to test it.
So i connected my rooted bootloader unlocked le2 x526 to my ubuntu and opened a root terminal and used this command to boot the Kernel Image:
fastboot boot Image
But the just rebooted and just kept being there. It didn't show anything. The screen was blank, black and the notification led was glowing in red. No vibration nothing. It was like if i flashed a corrupt kernel...
But i didnt just give up hope there.
I unpacked the stock rom boot image and replaced the kernel with my custom kernel build from LeEco's source. And repacked it and booted it using this fastboot command:
fastboot boot Boot.img
But still it was not working
So guys now i am completely 100℅ Sure that the sources provided by LeEco is a non-working one and that is the reason why LeEco took down all sources from their page...........
So now once again waiting for the proper working sources......

I need ROM 7.0 to go through SP Flash Tools, but I only found it on the Russian site, and to download it is necessary to register.

I've never used sp flash tool and have flashed my phone dozens of times. Any particular reason why you don't want to use recovery?

the Zenfone 3 MAX is a very special cell phone. each version works in a way and a way. mine does not work for recovery, otherwise I would do it for him! with SP Flash Tools I get it, I got the 6.0 but the 7.0 I can not find anywhere else, only on that site in Russian.

also iam guessing this issue is magisk in rom had this issue with a30 also so ill redo one with it removed see if it changes

Also, to download such a huge file, one has to have Mega account, which is not the right thing. Please upload snaps here.
Moreover, upload the ROM somewhere else and not Mega, I am not gonna create account with the application just for the Snaps,or the ROM. Use AFH or SF.

Does Good lock work?

Tried both the ROMs with and without magisk. Unfortunately, none of them seem to work. The one without Magisk gets stuck at Extracting boot and and the other gets stuck at the point some other user pointed out on page 1.
