Moving apps to SD Card - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have an SD Card, 32Gb class u2, and I want to store my applications data on it, instead on internal memory. However, I can't find an option to move apps to SD. My default location is set to SD Card.

I know that using HiSuite, you can choose to install future app automatically on your SD card. (Its just an option to tick once, no need to run HiSuite everytime you want to install an app)
Regarding how to MOVE apps that s already been installed, I have no idea tho.

i use settings > advanced settings > memory & storage

Hi, it's not recommended to do this with a class 2 card. Performance wise. But you can't.

Yeah apparently it seems impossible (maybe because of Android 6.0 memory features)

I damaged my sdcard slot

I think my sdcard slot is broken obviously because it cant detect any sdcard. Is there any way i could use my internal storage as my primary memory? I mean like for downloading, bluetooth, camera and pretty much for storing everything. I really need it before i sent it for repairing.
There is an option in X5 settings app that let you choose the external or the internal storage instead, but I didn't try it, though.

Since I don't use Aurora rom I can't say yes or no. You may wait for others who can tell you or post your question in Aurora's thread or its general discussion.

No, but you can change swap to make internal memory to your primary memory.

[Q] Moving apps to SD Card [without root]- S4

Hi there,
Has anyone been able to move apps from the internal memory of their S4 to the SD card without rooting the phone?
At the present time I have only been able to cut and paste photos, videos and music, rather than my apps.
I've tried a few different apps which claim to move apps without the need for rooting, however none of them seem to work.
My apologies if this is a stupid question, I have finally seen the light and ditched my Iphone 4 for the S4, so this is my first android phone.
Thanks
Rob
I want to know the method too
Besides, I have rooted my phone but no way to move apps to sd...
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda premium
Guys, Is it possible to move the app to the SD if the phone rooted ?? & how about if its not rooted ??
Since, Samsung said that the app can be only installed in the main memory not the SD. which isn't a big deal at all with the 16gb, since half of it gone to the OS !!
Thanks alot
I'm too looking for such a solution. Please help!
You can use this with root (I use it and it works great):

Don't think you can without root.
Hi all ; in my case, my phone is new, so I uninstalled the 3 apps that I downloaded, and tried to re-install it directly in the SD directory, but I'm not able to find a setting to chose where I need to install the downloaded apps ! any solution ?
great thanks ...
I used to use Link2SD so I can install apps on my sd card. Is it not working anymore?
I'm sorry, I forget to precise that I didn't root my device; is there a way to install apps directly in the SD without root ?

Link2SD needs root permission ...

So, basically, FolderMount is just linked the apps to SD card? I've tried it just for 1 app though. Gonna try to link other apps.
Apps2SD, Links2SD, AppMgr just fail, even with root access.
Even Foldermount only works properly if you're trying to link to data stored on actual internal SD (ie games like Need For Speed and Shadowgun). Any game or app stored in /data are a pain to relocate.

So, even FolderMount's not really moving the apps? Argh, is there any method to move the apps? I'm getting frustrated.

Foldermount works doing it with some apps but you need to move everything manually.

Did anyone make it successfully without root and an emulated SD card? Because on my Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505 - 4.2.2 android system) I have an emulated SD card (which is the device storage). This is a picture, how it is look like now (sorry for the hungarian language):
This picture is made in Total Commander
Can anybody do it? With or without root?

Why not just post link to playstore SDfix ?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix
simple and usefull app to click trough, in a few seconds.
Thanks I thought it was fixed since it was fixed on latest kitkat update for the s4

It's not a exFAT issue, rather a kitkat issue

yeah, at the time when i posted that link me and at least one other were having some issues, thought it might be related to SD Fix, since then we have figured out that is was probably not SD Fix, so i have now edited the OP to show that SD Fix does fix the issue, I also posted how to do it manually in case someone ran into the same issue as me and at least one or two others that it didnt take until we manually edited it after SD Fix

[REQ] can someone please give me script to swap external and internal memory

i want to swap my internal memory to external memmory. i just bought a uhs-1 64gb memory card i have s5 (exynos) with latest update xxu1ang3
There are a lot of threads on this subject, so I have to wonder why you didn't do a search before posting? It would have given you a faster answer as well.
Google search: script swap external internal sd storage samsung xda
I used mattiadj's script on the S5 with good results

Why don`t you use FolderMount https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devasque.fmount&hl=nl and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192122?
+1 for folder mount, it's a life saver if you have a lot of huge apps. Saying that can't the S5 move apps to SD natively? There is an option at times to move to SD? There was a script a while ago which was called ext2internal it was made for the S3 and literally swapped the memories around. Could try contacting the creator but unless he has an S5 i highly doubt he will do it.

about SD for apps

Hi guys,
i found a great offer from italian operator for lg G6 and i'm thinking to buy a this new phone...
but i'm pretty scared for storage, i use to have always a great number of apps and games so 32gb is worring me a lot.
So i would like to know if:
-can i set sd card as internal storage on this phone? i know is a marshmellow feature, but still my xperia z3 doesn't permit that
-if i can not, can i move my apps to sd? do i have to move it manually? any chance to move automatically on sd?
It may seems idiot to ask, but sony permit auto moving app to sd in android 5, but in android 6 makes me move manually.
thx a lot guys
have a nice day

There is an app, activated using an adb command from a pc that lets you configure sd for adoptable storage.
My vzw g6 128gb sd card is configured to 24gb adoptable and the rest normal, working fine.
