Here, I noticed a strange thing: the product name is SM-G900AZ. However, when I go to info about device on the phone I have the following model number: SM-G900F (Baseband version: G900FZHU1ANI2, build number: ORG.G900FZHU1ANI2). Is this normal? which model number is the right one?
How can I fix that? please help
Thanks
So you have a cricket s5? What firmware is on your phone right now? Go to settings> about device to check.
What firmware are you trying to flash?
Is the phone rooted? Custom recovery installed?

I'm not sure if it is cricket s5, I bought it in France!
The current firmware is G900FZHU1ANI2 and I'm trying to install G900FXXU1BOD3.
The phone is not rooted and I didn't install Custom recovery.
You have incorrect pit file for partition mapping
---------- Post added at 01:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:58 PM ----------
You must find the correct pit file for your device end os if you want to format partition if not flash only firmware
Hi
I recently tried to fix my wifes Galaxy S5 SM-G900F (Nordic), but nothing seems to work.
Problems started after she made an update to 6.0.1. The phone started to reboot randomly.
Later it went into a reboot loop and would not start. I had trouble getting to the factory reset menu, but once it worked and I made a factory reset / wipe.
Same problem, the phone stayed in the recovery boot loop.
I brought it to Samsung service, and they said that they could not install any rom on it.. So I tried myself.
I flashed the factory rom (6.0.1) with odin3 SUCCESFULLY, but nothing would change.. Still same recovery boot loop.
I did the same again with an older version (5.0).. Same problem.
I cant even reach the factory reset menu any more.
Is there something left to try?

I do not know if I understood correctly.
When you install the original ROM it got stuck at the boot of Samsung, right?
Have you been in recovery mode yet? If you can not try installing Twrp, that's what got me wrong, I had a similar case. Install with Odin.
And put a ROM for example: LineageOS.
Hi
Thanks for the info. I managed to install TWRP successfully, but I still cant reach the factory reset menu. It keeps on doing the boot loop with samsung logo.
Now after couple of unsuccessful reboot attempts the phone went into download mode by itself.
Could not do normal boot.

Next I deleted the hidden.img.ext4 and I got a PASS! (without the pit file and re-partition)
After a restart attempt i still have the recovery booting.... looping
Next I flashed the pit file and it would start to samsung galaxy s5 logo (without the recovery boot.... text on top) and do a restart loop.
I even did the recovery with kies, and it went through, but still I only get to recovery boot loop.
As a last resort i did also a NAND flash with odin. Still recovery boot loop
I think this phone is bricked for good..

Sequence? pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power? or this: ''well, you can try to pull the battery and hold the vol and home button while putting the battery back in. the power button isnt really needed to get it into recovery or download other than making it start the sequence''
Mate. When the Samsung service was not able to flash a ROM, you will not either. Had the same like you. After just 2 months of having this phone it started bootlooping. Tried everything. also the pit files. Flashing was no problem but the issue persisted. FLashed the stock ROM and brought it to the shop. They send it to samsung service and after a week I got a new device as the flash memory on the one that was bootlooping got defective somehow.
So well it´s not bricked as it still trying to boot but with a defective flash storage the results are almost the same as the needed data is corrupt due to defective memory cells.
Sorry guys mmc_read failure is due to bad memmory. It's a hardware issue. It's common in the note 4 series.
SOLVED
Go Odin Mode on phone screen. You see the model like SM-G935T
Go sammobile and search for G935T.
If you download smtg else, it does not work.

Hi guys, I am really new user for this forum. So sorry, if i am doing smtg wrong.
I have S7 Edge Oreo 8.0 currently. I think it is a T-Mobile's phone. And it is a phone bought from another country. Imei is legal and everything is ok. But I would like to change it with my local country flash with Odin. Cause the local file from sammobile is including "Mobile data toggle".
I tried to root it with Oreo 8.0 and 6.0 with Odin. I always see the same problem. Can you kindly help me please?

Hello
I wanted to use my Samsung Note 4 again.
When i started it, i came into the recovery mode. The phone seems not to start into the os.
The phone was working normaly before.
I made a factory reset and tried to restart the phone. But it got stuck.
So i removed the batterie and put it back in to turn the phone on, but i wouldnt. I removed the battery and waited a bit.
I again came into recovery mode.
Then i decided just to flash a new firmware via odin.
So i downloaded the official firmware form samfirm and tried to flash it but an error came: 'There is no pit partition'.
On the Note 4 Error: no pit binary
i googled a bit and found out i have to flash the PIT. So i downloaded the right pit for the firmware and tried again. Same Error
I dont know why its not working
I got the firmwares from sammobile. I tried 3 different.
My phone is from austria, so i tried TTR, MOB and DRE. For Pit i have SFR and VFG
What am i doing wrong? what am i missing?

Flash again without the pit file. A pit file is needed if Odin can't read the memory chip's partition table.
Also try using different usb ports and usb cables.
