Hi everybody,
I'm trying to install a new firmware to my Galaxy S5 but it fails.
I tried with all the following options but it doesn't work:
-From the phone side, I enabled "usb debugging" and I set
-From the pc side, I tried with the usb driver v 1.5.15.0 and v 1.5.51.0
-Odin: v 3.04, v 3.06, v 3.07, v 3.09
-I tried with my two usb ports 3.0 and 2.0At the first test, I get this message in Odin:
<ID:0/007> Added!!
<ID:0/007> Odin v.3 engine (ID:7)..
<ID:0/007> File analysis..
<ID:0/007> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/007> Initialzation..

<ID:0/007> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/007> FAIL!
<ID:0/007>
<ID:0/007> Re-Partition operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)At my second test, I get a different message:
<ID:0/007> Odin v.3 engine (ID:7)..
<ID:0/007> File analysis..
<ID:0/007> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/007> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
At the phone screen, I get this:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G900AZ
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (4)
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
UDC START
SECURE CHECK FAIL : PIT
Here, I noticed a strange thing: the product name is SM-G900AZ. However, when I go to info about device on the phone I have the following model number: SM-G900F (Baseband version: G900FZHU1ANI2, build number: ORG.G900FZHU1ANI2). Is this normal? which model number is the right one?
How can I fix that? please help
Thanks
So you have a cricket s5? What firmware is on your phone right now? Go to settings> about device to check.
What firmware are you trying to flash?
Is the phone rooted? Custom recovery installed?

I'm not sure if it is cricket s5, I bought it in France!
The current firmware is G900FZHU1ANI2 and I'm trying to install G900FXXU1BOD3.
The phone is not rooted and I didn't install Custom recovery.
You have incorrect pit file for partition mapping
---------- Post added at 01:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:58 PM ----------
You must find the correct pit file for your device end os if you want to format partition if not flash only firmware

Hey guys I am having some serious difficulties with my verizon note 3. Last night my phone started boot looping so I decided to wipe and recover from my backup. I did the factory reset and all was well but safestrap would not recognize my backup so I attempted to install the stock Jasmine Rom (which I was using when the boot loop happened). Every time I tried to install I would get the E: unable to mount 'system' and 'systemorig'. I tried to wipe the system and it did not work, so I tried to format the internal memory which did not work. Today I tried to flash stock ROM using Odin 3.09. I also downloaded the "pit" file to attempt to repartition the drive and Odin is failing as well because of an authorization error I believe.
Here is the Odin information:

<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..

On the Firmware upgrade screen on my phone it reads

Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable (CSB)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have I successfully bricked my phone?
Sorry if this has been covered before but I could not find anything that has worked, and I have tried so many things that people say to do on forums that I may have caused more damage to my phone than there was in the first place :crying:
Since last night I have not had a phone and I need to get this thing working ASAP because I need it for work.
You're not running VMWare are you? I had a similar error when trying to use ODIN on a work VMWare machine - it always failed. Once I went home to my desktop - ODIN successfully flashed.

No I am not running VMWare, but trying it on a different computer isn't a bad idea. I'll try it on my other desktop as soon as I get ODIN and the drivers installed. Thanks for the idea
Edit: Tried on a different computer, downloaded a different stock .tar.md5 file, did not try to flash the 'pit' file (re-partition)(some other forum told me to do that), and made sure that only auto reboot and f. reset time were checked. Odin passed and I am currently back on stock firmware with a working phone! Thank you BigMcguire and the rest of the XDA forums that i looked through to help me fix this!
I had my device rooted on an older version of android (4.4 I believe). I removed root and was able to update OTA to 5.0 lolipop. Now I cant seem to root it at all. I've tried Kingo and Odin. Here is the log from Odin after it failed.

Any help is needed, Thank you.
In KK nand write start error could be reactivation lock is enabled. But in L that menu nowhere to be found. Maybe I missed it somewhere.
Sorry just noticed it's not mentioned on you download mode description. I guess it's different with at&t version.

I was told to look for reactivation lock, but I can't find it either.

I'm not concerned with my phone being fake. I bought it through AT&T brand new over 2 years ago.

I think he means that you should ask in at&t forum.

OK thanks, I'll try there.

Hey ya'll, this past Saturday my Note 4 started a boot loop while using Baconreader. I was using stock ROM, unrooted, T-Mobile. I first deleted the cache partition, then did a factory reset, but neither worked.
I tried flashing with Odin v3.09, using ROMS from SamMobile:
4.4.4 ANK4
5.0.1 COD6
5.0.1 COG2
Each time I would get
<ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/003> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/003> sbl1.mbn
<ID:0/003> rpm.mbn
<ID:0/003> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
And on the phone in download mode was:
Odin Mode (High Speed)
Product Name: SM-N910T
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Reactivation Lock: Off
Knox Warranty Void: 0x0
Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable (CSB)
AP Swerv: S1, T1, R1, A2, P1
Secure Download: Enable
UDC Start
SW Rev Check Fail : [aboot]Fused 2 > Binary 1
[1]eMMC write fail: ABOOT
I then used the latest ROM from SamMobile, 6.0.1 EPE3, and everything worked. Odin flashed it and the installation was good. But as soon as it finished and booted for the first time the boot loop started again. I tried using KIES to do a emergency firmware restore but it would not pick up my Note 4 (Using a Samsung USB Cord) I tried it with and without Samsung USB Drivers installed. I'm starting to think it may be a hardware problem, honestly though I have no idea. I would like to get some other opinions before I send off for a new one. (No warranty over a year old) Thanks in advance, and sorry if the formatting is long, I figured it would be easier to read if everything was spaced out. Thanks in advance.
SOLVED
Go Odin Mode on phone screen. You see the model like SM-G935T
Go sammobile and search for G935T.
If you download smtg else, it does not work.

Hi guys, I am really new user for this forum. So sorry, if i am doing smtg wrong.
I have S7 Edge Oreo 8.0 currently. I think it is a T-Mobile's phone. And it is a phone bought from another country. Imei is legal and everything is ok. But I would like to change it with my local country flash with Odin. Cause the local file from sammobile is including "Mobile data toggle".
I tried to root it with Oreo 8.0 and 6.0 with Odin. I always see the same problem. Can you kindly help me please?
On computer it says:
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> Total Binary size: 4345 M
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..

please help.TIA
Flash again without the pit file. A pit file is needed if Odin can't read the memory chip's partition table.
Also try using different usb ports and usb cables.
