hi, i got a d802 and i updated it to offical lollipop via lg pc suite .
now it's much slower, it freezes many times a day and the battery is much much worse.
what would you advice me to do ?
should i flash a custom rom ? if so , plz recommend me on a reliable one and if you can attach a friendly noob full guide how to flash roms from the beggining.
thank you so much :*
Did you make factory reset? I had no problems after upgrade to Lollipop on my D802 and I didn't do factory reset, but many users say it needs to be done.
does it delete the storage like music and photos ?
Guys,
I know it was a repeated question -
I would like to root my Xperia Z1 C6903 to get the lollipop installed and want to feel the OS. Can someone please share the steps to be followed/links for rooting the device and install the latest stable lollipop update !
Note - This is my first time in rooting the phone !! Got vexed with Sony by waiting for official lollipop release for Z1
Wrong section, dude.
Anyways, i recommend downloading a rooted lollipop rom and doing a full wipe.
Start by rooting your kitkat, that will be pretty easy, then proceed to download custom recoveries. I recommend Nutz dual recoveries. After that, download a rooted lollipop rom and save it on your external SD card. Boot into your recovery, do a full wipe and flash the lollipop rom. After that, you're free to do whatever you like with it. You can download rockz1 rom, which gives a lot of modifications and options or you can customize the stock rom to your liking. Good luck.
Hello everyone,
I have a few questions regarding installing CyanogenMod 12.1 on my Samsung S5+ (SM-G901F). I've had CyanogenMod on 2 other Samsung devices and I've been nothing but very satisfied with them. Since last installing CM on my S3 a few years have passed and the procedure seems a bit different, hence my post here!
My questions all relate to the unofficial CM 12.1 rom discussed in this thread.
My 901F is fully stock with all Samsung firmware updates applied (Android 5.0.2). I've bought it in the Netherlands at T-Mobile. When booting the phone a welcome screen of T-Mobile is shown. Is my firmware the stock Samsung firmware?
The custom rom only supports the new Lollipop bootloader. Is this the bootloader I have installed stock?
Can I make a back-up of my system with this bootloader in case something goes wrong? (I know in the past I used PhilZ recovery and there I could make a backup)
Thank you in advance for your help!
Tom

There's something to read and do before installing a custom rom like unlocking bootloader, flashing custom recovery https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/general/guide-how-to-unlock-root-install-twrp-t3394037
