Hey so before I updated to 6.0.1 (Previously on 6.0) I would easily get 2 days of constant use with about 7 hours of screen on time, but after i updated to 6.0.1 I'm usually at 30% at the end of the day with 3-4 hours of screen on time. I've tried installing multiple custom roms (AICP, CM, Dirty Unicorn... etc) but any rom based of 6.0.1 gives the same battery drain issue, I also tried AICP Nougat rom but still the same result. Gave greenify a try as well (With root), no change...
I'm running out of ideas to try, like come on its a phone with a 3,630 mAh battery, I should be able to get more then 4 hours of SOT lol. It works beautiful on 5.1.1 and 6.0 but anything newer totally messes it up.
So any help/ideas would be amazing!!!
Which modem firmware have you been using? From what i've read (assuming you really didn't change anything else) that has some impact on battery life, especially using the "wrong" one.

Never thought to check that... Its just the last 3 digits of the baseband version right? If it is it's 33R (Currently on PAC ROM 5.1.1)
So I found on one forum that changing the modem back to the lollipop version fixed their battery issues, so I'll give that a try and see how that goes

So it did help a bit, made my sleep time a tad better, however I can still only get about 4 hours SOT.

I followed partial instructions on how to return to stock firmware, which would be
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot erase cache
A problem on my device is more likely, I've had trouble before flashing modems, it seems that even though fastboot says it was flashed, it wasn't

I've got some network issues with my S3 mini. From time to time it disconnects itself from the network - no mobile internet, no incomming/outgoing calls, no nothing. Signal indicator is full, but the phone works only after restart or airplane mode on and off. There's a thread about this issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057285&page=5).
I run stock ROM, no root, no customizations. I'm wonreding can I install this radio on it and may it resolve my problem?
My current firmware details:

Yes it should be fine to flash but I can't say if your problem will be fixed.
You need root to flash this and I think your PDA, PHONE and CSC won't match correctly anymore, for kies or ota to give you updates.
You can still update manually with odin tho, when new fw for your country arrives.

I installed CM 12.1 with gapps on my S4, problem is when my screen goes dark(when pressing power button once or automaticly after 5mins) my signal is gone. When rebooting phone the signal is back or if I quicly do airplane mode on and then off again the signal is also back. So basicly I only have signal when the screen is on and not turned off at any point.
Tried flashing another rom but had same problem, any idea's what it could be?

No you won't lose user data when flashing via Odin. I've done it already many times and hardly ever lost data (only when the tar.md5 file you flash has another tar-file inside it, so i heard). I flashed the AOI1 over the AOH6 and my data was still there.
but always better to back up before proceding: Titanium, Nandroid backup, etc. when you have root, if you don't I think you can use Smart Switch on PC to make a back up.

That's very useful info, thanks. I kept reading that flashing a ROM via Odin inevitably would wipe your device. But when I flashed an official stock ROM, this didn't happen.
Well yes i downloaded firmwares from Sammobiles and no need to wipe.
But how come these don't come with BL and CSC files?

They do come with CSC-files but I believe those are in the 'hidden.img'.
Don't know about the bootloader though.
Usually the data gets wiped, in my experience anyway, is when you go to a new version (e.g. Kit Kat to Lolliop) when flashing the firmware through Odin.

What Kind of fail? Error message?
if you have updated to "coj5" or newer builds of 5.1.1 then you can not go back to kitkat or even previous builds of 5.1.1 or 5.0.1. thats why you get "failed" error in odin. unfortunately there is no way to downgrade as of now because coj5 locks the bootloader.

Damn I just downgraded a few days ago with exactly the COJ5 version. I've also heard that some people can't downgrade but it seems like I never had a problem with this.
Maybe if i had such a problem I would try to install a custom ROM / other bootloader with Odin first to see if works with a stock kitkat rom after.

Issue with your network coverage appeared before or after you flashed the provided aboot? You should know that we JUST made that work (literally less than two hours), you can't expect no issues.
You should probably wait till we have a working TWRP recovery so you'll be able to flash a dual sim rom, but if you're still willing to try you might as well provide more information

Then maybe flashing the modem from a stock LP h422 rom would solve that issue, since secure boot is disabled by the patched aboot it shouldn't be a problem
-I think-, actually I can't tell for sure if the modem.bin is all you need

You need to follow the procedure detailed by fobos in the general thread to found the aboot block but instead of looking for the aboot you should write down the modem and radio ones.
Once you did that get a h422 rom, google and download "WindowsLGFirmwareExtract", extract the DZ file, then extract the modem.bin from that DZ and flash the same way we did with aboot but with the modem block (and maybe the radio one but IDK how is called honestly, you have to figure out by yourself)

@mayankjet, did you still with problems with your device?
I have a brazilian dual-sim version (H442f). I only could get phone and 3G/4G coverage after adding this line to build.prop and rebooting the phone (additional_build_properties section, close to line 200):
Code:
#
# ADDITIONAL_BUILD_PROPERTIES
#
[COLOR="Red"][B]persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds[/B][/COLOR]
I copied this from the build.prop from the build.prop of lollipop version. By luck, it worked.
Don't try to use older versions of modem.img, since it can lead to muting the sounds (music). How do I know? Been there, done that
