same method as old models :
Check phone version / exact sub-model, here are three hardware versions of Y300:
1.Huawei Y300 (T8833) - TD-SCDMA / China Mobile
2.Huawei Y300-0000 (U8833) - WCDMA China Unicom
3.Huawei Y300-0100 (U8833) - WCDMA International
check version (product ID) with this code : *#*#1357946#*#* , dial button (green)
there is international version ROM - Y300-0100 at Huawei site, you probably downloaded it ...
- put "dload" folder from archive on formatted micro-sd card's ROOT
- put micro-sd card into phone
- start phone in download mode = Press the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN key, and then press the
POWER key to power on the phone and enter the Software Upgrade Mode
(taken from upgrade manual - which is found in archive, pdf ... )
- wait for finish ...
p.s. if not accepting firmware - means it's not international version ....

Hi,
I have HUAWEII Y300-0000 phone I've bought in china.
Managed to unlock it thanks to your manual.
It comes with ROM: Y300-0000V100R00C17B180 (Android 4.1.1).
The only problem I have is that sometimes when I try to dial I do not manage to establish call (the call is tried to be established and then disconnects). When this happens there is also problem in incoming calls. I manage to receive the incoming call but when answered the connection drops after several seconds.
My question is whether this is an issue you are familiar with.
If so, do you have any suggestions?
Are there any new ROMs for this version that maybe handle these kind of issues.
How can I install new ROM on already rooted phone?

I rooted my phone it works properly. Everything working fine. I just have have one problem that how to expand its ram. Plz tell me.
I tried with 2gb class 6 card with swalpt expander but it show nothing in it.

hi there, i believe you can only flash the official firmware upgrades from a official ROM because when you check for upgrades to the firmware it gives you a option to install from local storage which i have yet to see in a custom ROM. in future i would always recommend a backup before installing any other ROM

how to get or hack bootloader code if my phone is bricked.
or
if you can upload any custom or stock rom to install in stock recowery(i can go to recowery and i can force upgrade but fails at step 2/2).
recowery name is ''android system recowery <3e>''.
or if i can instal any custom recowery now i install rom trought this custom recowery.

i install chainfire 3d and when i instaling driver my phone is shut down and i can wake up him from that it only show huawei ascend logo i can go to stock recowery and i can force upgrade but fail at ste 2 can you fix it

Search playstore I forget the excat name of the app. I used swapit(the name has changed now I forget the name) this uses your sd card as ram but do take note that the more u use your sd card the quicker it can go bad.

Phone is all original with no root or unlocked bootloader.
The first time I tried to change his ROM managed the feat to be able to delete all when connected to the PC (phone does not care anymore) only appeared in the device manager something related to the device processor.

Now you can root idol 3 easily by using old version of Kingroot App. use the following link ver 4.5.0 and it will root like a charm.
-Notice that the latest version of kingroot does not root the phone. Do not worry if you see ( Root unavailable) just click root and it will force root. Enjoy
-Notice: It work for Lollipop 5.0 android, not for Marshmallow

I used it with android 5.0 stock ver.
You can give it a try , and please report your result in a post for public benefit.
I've got a 6045y under 6.01, if you try to root, I'm pretty interested by the result...

I have just received an old P9 lite - VNS-L21C432B160. I has Android 6.0 an EMUI 4. I wanted to flash a custom ROM but I am not able to. I have bootloader unlocked. I am able to instal TWRP 3.0.2-0. But all custom ROMs I tried, gave me ERROR7 or Signal 11. (It is not possible to correct Error7 according to manuals here...)
There is TWRP 3.2.1 for this phone but it doesn't work at all. I found out, it wants EMUI5.x which I do not have. Is it correct that I need to update to Nougat7 and EMUI5 first? I am trying to do it maybe 4 days already. I have tried everything which is available on the internet but I failed. I have original Stock ROM file with Android 6 - it works.. I also have update file for Android 7 (B336), but the phone doesn't want it. According to official manual, I need some kind of transfer package, which is not available.
Can anybody help me with flashing a custom ROM to this phone? I would love to have LineageOS 14.1

Hi Karel,
use Firmware Finder app to update to android 7.
I recommend vpn/dns method.
You should point to B370 FULLOTA-MF-PV one...
All info are inside the app and some videos are on You_tu_be...
You can update the same way to latest firmware.

I found info: "If you stuck on boot screen, change your file system"... filesystem of what? SD card? Phone?

Dude, the instructions are so old,
also i never installed LineageOS 14 on my p9 lite. (I do not have it anymore)
I can tell you to use twrp version 3.1.1-1 and I recommend posting it
in the appropriate thread, maybe other users can answer in more detail ..

i wish to help but i think it's not possible....
anyway the best you can wish for is having android 7 stock
or some custom version of android 8.
As you wrote you have the cinese variant (G9 Youth). It should have
a different processor and need a personalized rom, can you check it ?
Go in settings, phone info...
Please report your complete firmware version
(example: VNS-L21C432B160/VNS-AL00C00B230)
and chipset version (example: Kirin 650/Snapdragon SD 617)

1. Download and install service ROM .310 via dload method
Download
2. Downgrade to the A7 using HiSuite
3. Install service ROM A7 B142 via dload
Download
4. Now you should be able to use "DC-unlocker" or "hcu-client" (paid services - 4€/$).
The process will erase all your data!

No, you can unlock bootloader for free using this procedure .
But you have to remove the back cover of your phone.
