FAQs:
Q: How do I flash the ROM?
A: Any recovery allowing ROM flashing should work. I am using OpenRecovery though.
Coming from Previous Version or if you want a dirty install:
1. boot into recovery
2. flash the Rom
3. reboot
Coming from Previous Version and if you want a clean install:
1. boot into recovery
2. do a full wife
3. flash the Rom
4. reboot
Coming from Any Other ROM:
1. Boot into Recovery
2. Do a full wife (format date, sysyem, preload & cache is the best)
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash Additional GAPPS if you want (GAPPS for 12.1 --> Slim_mini_gapps.BETA.5.1.build.0.x-20150812.zip)
5. Reboot
6. Don't restore system stuff or apps + data using Titanium, it might cause issues

Uploaded a new build (UNOFFICIAL_cm_find5-20150807.zip). Please flash this one. I have now made 2 radio properties persistent which allows for delayed SIM card detection and restarts RIL if needed. See the updated screenshots which shows the radio signal strength.
Cheers.

Hi I'm new here on XDA so if my postings are messed up.... you'll know why:good:
I just tried flashing this rom and I can report that gapps dosn't work or at least gives an error that some functions do not work.
I then tried flashing an updated gapps 5.1 but same error here.... I gues its more a gapps thing than the rom itself.
I couldn't find other errors that, and it seems very stable :good:
My current setup that works is this:
cm-12-20150802-NIGHTLY-find5
gapps-5.0.x-20150404-minimal-edition-signed

Like in the official cm12 - I use it. After u turn off wifi go to mobil network settings, select apn-s, open the actual settings and just simply do a save on it. And viola the Mobil internet starting.
Just IN....
The nice smooth LiquidSmooth with MarshMallow 6.0 and latest android-6.0.1_r10.
Install:
First time installing LiquidSmooth to your Find5, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0 recommended)
- Copy GApps and LS-MM-v6.0--YYYY-MM-DD-liquid_find5.zip to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Flash LS-MM-v6.0--YYYY-MM-DD-liquid_find5.zip
- Flash GApps zip (I you don't need all Google feature, i recommend Opengapps, mini)
- Reboot
Works:
- Device boots
- Graphics working OK (No stress tests done)
- WiFi, bluetooth works
- Vibrator, sounds, apps, etc. works
Does not work:
- Cellular network is unavailable. I will fix this in my next update
- Minor things not tested (Please give your input or raise issues)
Cheers, Wolverine2k

Sorry guys. My repo is messed up now. I need to fix certain errors in kernel and cm13 frameworks before anything is delivered. Working on it...
I will test it out for you but i am not sure how I can help you. If you release the rom I will try to flash it.

Ditto, and not sure if wuxianlin is going to release newer builds. Even with the existing bugs, I like CM13:
The big 3 problems with Oppo Find 5 CM13 builds are WiFi hotspot not working, bluetooth audio not working, video recording not working. If this is going to be an active ROM that will be maintained and I can help testing, I'll install it.

Nope. All these things will work but right now I am stuck with simcard not being detected. Am trying to debug that. And get the camera profiles up and running.
Dear All,
I am changing companies and also moving computer builds these days. So I will not be able to work on this anymore. But hopefully, I will come back with an Oreo build for our beloved Find5. I will close all the other development threads that I have since no further development will take place on the older versions.

Unlikely. Even if we get stable 8.1, they have a strict requirements to become official. Plus our repos are non mergable, so even if we go official, we can use some of the repos for compiling.
It's possible but not idea if it can really happen.

could you fix it?
Nice job OP. Luckily i see your thread and now i'm gonna try it on my s3 mini value edition
Update: I installed it and it is working well(expect the not working feature like camera, fixed volume level,etc.). And my model is GT-I8200Q. And please fix the fixed volume level issue(it is always at max level until mute it.). I can send you logcat or other things. The other issues is not important for me.
Asides from the aforementioned issues, I have an abysmal WiFi signal (0.05 mbps download). Other than that, great work in reviving a dead device!
work in 8200l?
i dont know if it its only me that has this problem but the wifi doesnt work, i tried flashing it with and without gapps, and i even factory reset it to see if it would do anything. the only thing it done was make the camera app appear, but it doesnt work anyway. can someone pls help me? i just want to finally install a newer version of android on this thing. btw it is an i8200n
@Grou4 Thank you, great start! Some more bugs tested with 8200n:
5 Ghz Wlan not at all
if wlan turned off only reboot will revive
Flashlight
enter standby with double tap statusline
open camera also doesn't work ;- )
Compass works perfect!
This Rom is no longer supported, right? Too bad!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Great Work!! Works on A105FN but.... mtp is not working.
USB File Transfer will reboot phone, if you have a solution please help.
Boots perfectly, charging speeds are perfect.
Notch space does not work very well and takes up space in several full screen apps. Any way to fix it or is it part of the rom?

SMA105F/DS : Works
Android 10
EDIT : MY BAD IT WAS A MISTAKE A DID
UPDATE 30 AUGUST : Upon using it for a week I added more cons and pros
Upon using it for a week. Here are my Pros and Cons
Pros:
My read speeds increased from 40mb/s to 80mb/s
Phone became smoother
FastBoots
Easy to use
Uses haptic feedback at its fullest
CPU is cool no overheats
Since no overheats no battery probs
{NEW}
Charging is a little faster 4 hrs to 3 hrs
Every game I play on I getore FPS
Benchmarks on antutu increased from 90k to 110k
Benchmarks on 3DMark extreme from 5 fps to 9 fps and +200 points
Ui is hot
Lots of customizations: Fonts and more
Has an equalizer preinstalled
Has an audio visualizer in lock screen
No bloatware
Battery holds up to 12 Hrs
{ 3 hours - 66%
5 hours - 42%
8 hours - 26%
10 hours - 12%
12 hours - 1%
}
You should have an approximate or even better, My phone has half a year now.
Cons:
Lack of support for face recognition
Camera app preloaded is broken
Notch and Corners aren't normally aligned
Some Memory leaks and often crashes with GameGuardian(use ex kernel manager and enable zswap [check an yt vid])
The OS can corrupt at any moment randomly and redirect you to the bootloader
My Signal is weaker for some reason
{NEW}
Bluetooth signal is weaker
Speaker problems(to fix disable audio equalizer)
When using the preloaded camera app and flash it will crash after taking a picture
Some games will just crash while they are trying to load in
Developer options dont appear even after you enable them
The Preloaded browser is dog****, crashes and bad support with html5
And many more I'll find later on
Please thank me if you found anything usefull.
If you are willing to use it, you will have to take risks and accept the problems it has.
I came from the A20 forum to see this ROM but this thread seems dead, Is no one interested in custom ROMs here ? I though there'd be full comments and questions about this ROM.
I just wanted to know if it possible to make a ROM like this for the Galaxy A20 or maybe even port this one ?
@Geckyn
Great rom! Could you please fix navigation gestures and night light?

I tried on a105m, camera app preloaded worked with no problem here, so far no reboots to bootloader... Memory leaks are so much worse in GSI Roms, at least thats what i felt using Havoc OS and Bliss Rom. For me is this or go back to Stock

Same. Just saying some problems I had with A105F/DS since 2GB isn't enough for GG and a game ig
working 100% on a105fn, but when i turn off my phone and plug in charger it will froze on charging screen and only power button + volume down helps, btw why are there no gestures ect like in normal android 10?
Hello. I installed version 20200813 on my A105M device, and apparently everything is working.
The exception is the recognition of my SD Card. I can't use it in the rom, although it works normally in TWRP.
Me SD is in exfat.

Pros
Thanks
Cons
1. Not a default feature in los 17 and many others
2. ??
3. Okay will see about that
4. How do you know its a memory leak? and probably not necessarily a specific ROM issue
5. Nope Os doesn’t corrupt and reboot to bootloader unless you messed with it
6. Sadly most A series users report weak signal something that may be related to the device itself not just this ROM or a10
7. And many more lol

Thats the sad part of life...those really want something may not even get it whilst those who have may not exactly be interested. The response here is pretty discouraging but I understand that it may be a small community.
Is it possible ? Absolutely ...its all about time
