YoutaPhone Hard Brick - YotaPhone

Help me please. My YotaPhone 2 is in bootloop. i can't go in recovery mode and download mode. I do all wipe in twrp recovery and next restart my phone. sorry for my bad english. Any solution?

Just keep holding power button en volume down. It may take a while but it will get into download mode.

what is 'a while'?
Mine went through at least three off-and-on cycles and did not go into download mode.

The only device I have had a bootloop on was a Nexus 7, and I solved that by reflashing the OS.
Have you tried that with yotaflasher?

all the phone is doing is boot loop
Of course you can. i think that you should shutdown the device and just hold the three buttons, it should work if you on bootloop

Pull the battery. Put it back in. Hold power button and volume down until you're in download mode.

Well that's deffinately weird.
Is it under warrenty? Because if you can't get to download mode I'm thinking that's a next step.
How about recovery? Can you get to recovery? Power plus volume up?

if I could get in to recovery , this thread was not exist because in "basic" bootloops
I know how to fix.
warrenty it's a bit of a problam because my phone is rooted and rooted phones disable the warrenty
but it's dont boot up so how can know he is rooted LOL, I think I'll go to the store i bought it from
and ask to fix this, but I prefer to fix it in my home so if threre is a solution I'll take it

Did I just hard brick my phone?

I was on efficient rom 3.3 and wanted to update to 3.4 but I was on some older versions of bootloader and modem so I wanted to update them first before moving to efficient rom 3.4. So I downloaded the BPHJ BL and CP for 935F, opened Odin and successfully flashed the files from download mode, it said the flash was successful and the phone attempted to reboot (as it normally does after an Odin flash), and now it's stuck at the Samsung logo with a red "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" in upper left corner. I try to boot into download mode by volume up+power+home button, the phone tries to do it but it gets stuck again at the same screen. If I plug my phone to the PC now, Odin doesn't even recognize it, it doesn't say added or anything, it's like the phone is not even connected.
I know I flashed the correct files because they are for the 935F (exynos international - my phone).
How the hell did this happen? Is the phone dead? Can I try anything else?
You have to get into download mode, otherwise it's normal that ODIN doesn't see anything.
Keep trying to get into DL mode. I've read several times here that people had the same problems with getting into DL mode while being stuck in a bootloop, but eventually succeeded after a lot of tries.

I try to but it's just not working. I press vol up + power + home, the screen goes black for a second and then the Samsung logo appears again with the same error.
also i think u have to reflash through twrp the no-verity-opt-encript 2.1 zip. when flash different bootloader.

Download mode is vol DOWN + power + home.
New bootloader also required newest version of TWRP.
So after going into download mode flash the newest TWRP and that's it!.

Yes the vol up was a mistake, I know up is for recovery and down for download mode. I tried booting into download mode and I still can't do it. I opened this up in the efficient rom thread and yes, I ran into this problem because I wasn't aware I needed the latest twrp version.
Anyway, I try booting into download mode by vol down+power+home and it doesn't work. I try vol dow+power and as soon as the screen goes black I keep holding on the home button as well, without releasing vol down and power. Still not working. The screen goes but instead of booting into download mode it goes back to the Samsung logo with the seandroid enforcing error. This is the first time I can't boot into download mode.

Have you try holding vol down+home+power without release them until the download mode come up?
What I mean is that you don't need to wait for screen to go black. Just holding the button combo and phone will automatically reboot and go into download mode.

Yes, that's how I usually do it. It doesn't work. I'm thinking of going with the phone for a warranty repair but I'm worried that red seandroid enforcing error will raise questions about root. I booted into download mode a lot of times before, I know how to do it, it just doesn't work.

You're not hard bricked or you wouldn't have any thing showing on your screen.
First hold the power and volume down buttons only til it black screens then as soon as it does hold buttons for download Mode. It sometimes takes many times.
I've also read quite a few people let the phone die then plug it in to charge and then hold the buttons for download Mode.
That's how a friend of mine got his in download Mode.

Yeah I was thinking of that as well. Thanks.
Out of curiosity, if I go at Samsung now in this state, they will know for sure that the phone was rooted? Can I imply something like I tried updating with Samsung kies and now it's stuck?

seandroid enforcing error means the device can't load the security policy cuz u voided warranty
you could always say something like your kid was playing with it and it went into a bootloop or that there was an OTA update and it stoped midway and now your phone wont boot up hope for the best if they decline u goto another store to have it replaced/fixed some ppl arent knowledgeable about voiding warranty and issue a replacement

928f in boot loop, used smart switch but still boot loop

please help, woke up today with phone in boot loop and very hot, tryed odin to flash new firmware it was working fine, but near the end i get fail, so i used smart switch for phone initialization, with model and serial, it did his thing, but when it finishes and goes to reboot device it goes back to boot loop, what can i do?
So i take it from the lack of replies it's dead, so is there a way i can pull photos and videos from the internal memory? it still powers up, just stuck in boot loop, i can still get to download mode, just cant get into recovery, is there a way to get to the files?
If the phone is in bootloop she's not dead.
Try wiping it trough the fast boot menu and start over.

Ok, i searched and donwloaded platform tools to get ADB and fastboot, but from what i read i need to be in recovery for adb to pick up my phone, and i cant seem to get into recovery mode, pushing vol up + home + power does nothing, holding power to turn off phone also does not work, as soon as i connect phone to charger it turns on and goes into boot loop, only thing i can do is enter download mode, but in download mode i cant seem to get adb to find phone.
Put it in download mode, push an original OS from Samsung on it and after that you should be good 2 go.

adb reboot-bootloader
or fastboot reboot recovery

tryed those, but it seems i cant get adb to recognize my phone, maybe it's because it's in download mode?

So you already did this;
Phone in recovery mode; wipe it completely and restore to factory settings.
Phone in download mode; original OS via Odin.
After those steps it should work. Had to do the same to my phone last night. Lol.

the only part i didnt do is
Phone in recovery mode; wipe it completely and restore to factory settings.
because i cannot enter recovery, it supposed to be vol up+ home + power, but i think it requires phone to be off, and i cant turn phone off, holding power to turn it off does nothing, already let batery die, but as soon as i plug the cord it turns itself on, and goes back into boot loop, so again when i try the combo to go to recovery it does nothing (because i think it really needs to be off to enter recovery) so all i can do is do vol down + home + power and go to download mode, but i'm not getting adb to recognize phone in download mode, so i could command it to reboot to recovery =(
If you hold all buttons down it will restart the phone. And as soon as the screen goes black release all but volume up and power you should get into recovery mode

Place your phone into a refrigerator until its battery runs out.
Just recharge it to 15%.
Then hold 3 buttons at the same time : volume down, home and power. When the icon appears, press volume up. At this step you you can notice your mainboard at the top of the screen if you forget to know it. Then flash the stock ROM via Odin.
