Hi, can anyone help with this? My phone is stuck in charging mode and all the debug options are grayed out.
I have attached a screenshot.
Thanks,
Hi~
Look over your notification lists, and tap on Charging mode notification and change to MTP, then try again.

Hi, thanks for your reply. No, I don't seem to have this. I have looked in App notifications, notification access, and filter notifications and there is no charging mode notification.
Cheers,
I mean these
If you choose Charging mode, you won't be able to use Debugging mode.

Yes, I have seen that second screen once when I changed it to charging to see what it does. I haven't been able to get that screen back.
I search in settings for android and see the MTP but when I touch it I get "USB is now disconnected". That's it.
Thanks,

I tried a couple of apps or widgets for airplane mode, but for some reason I couldn't even get them working. Could someone recommend a good app/ toggle / widget?
Also is there any app or widget to turn off the N4 cellular signal receiver?

long press the power button?
^this, or pull down the notification centre with two fingers.
Did you try Widgetsoid?
I do the "Power Button" for Airplane Mode.
For Mobile Data:
Widgets > Settings shortcut > Data usage
When you open it, you can turn on and off Mobile data, and still use WiFi and receive calls and SMS messages.
Didn't Google prevent non root apps from activating/deactivating airplane mode with Android 4.2? I just use Tasker with the secure settings plugin
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I really appreciate it...
I still haven't found one app that would allow me to put a toggle on the home screen so that with one touch I can turn off or on the airplane mode. It seems all the suggestions require two or more touches?
Is there any toggle that with one touch on the home screen I can turn off/on the whole mobile network (not just data but also calls/messages) with wifi remaining on? I can't believe such a thing doesn't exist!
Try "Widgetsoid" or "Extended Controls". Been using them heavily before and they work pretty well. Although I havent tried recently since I went with a minimalist home screen.
Try power toggles.. U can add a lot of new ones in settings

Am I the only one wondering why he thinks having to do 2 touches actually is a problem?

thanks for your opinion. OK, not a big deal with two touches for the airplane mode. Care to share your experience regarding the following question?
Is there any app with which one can turn off/on the whole mobile network (not just data but also calls/messages) with wifi remaining on, regardless how many touches involved?

I use power toggles and the airplane toggle is not a true toggle. It takes you to the menu.

My screen stays on when charging the phone. If I put off the screen, each time an event occurs, the sreen goes on and do not go off after 2 mins like defined in the menu.
Is there a special setup to do to avoid that
Have you got the stay awake while charging option enabled in the developer options menu?

It tells me to turn device around to set up the epd but this message stays even after setting up epd so I can't use the colour side of device until I leave guest mode

it does ask to set up the epd every time when entering guest mode, but for me it works after that. Did you go through all the hoops when setting up the epd? go through every tutorial? for me the last tutorial step was to flip the device again back to color screen where it showed how to use the home button. After that the tutorial was over and I could use the color screen normally.
Under developer options there is a setting under "USB configuration" where you can set the default action when you plug into a computer via USB. The default is "charging". If you change it, it stays on "charging".

You can not live with having to swipe and press the screen twice on the occasion of plugging your phone into a pc etc?

Clean flashed the other day. Somehow lost that option to select wifi networks from within the quick settings menu. Can't seem to find the option to re-enable that feature.
Help, please.

Can you slid the notification bar down twice then hit edit?
Or hold the settings down for ten seconds to enable system UI changer?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
No system ui runner option. Yes, I can edit the panel , but I don't see an option for expanded wifi

Sorry to tell you but sounds like you are probably going to have to flash the ROM again. Sometimes weird unexplained bugs pop up in the OS when flashing. I once had the DND toggle stuck in On position after flashing just a stock image of a new security update from Google. No matter what it wouldnt turn off. So I had to reflash again.
Took me a coupe of days, but I finally had a chance to clean flash. The wifi QS toggle became available, but after a couple of boots I lost the toggle again. Not sure what I have on the phone that could bee doing that. Very strange

Ok, well I'm officially an idiot.
To enable the quick toggle with WiFi networks, the WiFi QS needs to be in the top row, with "enlarge top row" enabled.
Now that I figured that out, it's time to start on "turning left"...
Hope this helps someone else out
