How to add mobile data toggle to the notification panel - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 General

1. Download and Install quick panel manager ( attached )
2. Open the app and tap EDIT on the upper right corner
3. In the script add [MobileData;] after any toggle you want
( for example in the picture I added it after AutoRotate )
4. Tap save and done !
Note :
* You can edit any other toggle you want in the notification panel with this app. For example you can add mobile hostspot and other setting toggles.
* After new firmware update the app is always required. If you uninstall app the toggle will be removed after restarting phone. So use the app and then hide it .

Worked like a charm

How to do it manually without using this app?
I have root and want to do it manually without any apps.

You can use the app and then uninstall the app
the app is only required once and then you can uninstall it after you edit the status bar
I have searched alot and this is the only method that worked for me

Yes it works for me but if I want to restore factory defaults the toggles are removed.
I want to make displaying toggles perminant.

For hotpot the spelling is WifiHotspot;
If anyone needs the spelling for anything else I can get it. I had a snapshot of everything but lost it when my ROM crashed. You can open all toggles with an older version of gtidonetheapps. What's crazy is I'm running a stock ROM so don't have the Xposed installer but sometimes when I reboot my phone it will be there and when I open this app it runs as Xposed and shows all the toggles.

Or you could use this app

[Q] Disable toast message for Superuser

I tried to take a screenshot using the Screenshot It app ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.edwardkim.android.screenshotitfull ) but all the screenshot appeared with the superuser permission toast message. I checked the Superuser app's settings but can't any setting to turn it off for KF. Anyone has any idea how to disable it manually? I just need to turn it off temporary whenever I need to take a screenshot.
Well on my Fire I use the built in screen shot feature but I have no idea if you are stock w/root or on CM7 it is hard to help you when you do not provide any information.

I'm using stock launcher and Superuser doesn't show up in the app listing. Do you know how I would get to it? Through a shortcut perhaps (similar to Market Opener for android market) ?

Guide to restore status and navigation bar

I have run into few people with this problem so I'm making this guide to help anyone with this problem. You may have to reset kindle in order to access a different app since there is no navigation bar.
1: First you have to have a file explorer installed. Go to amazon app store and download es file explorer ( you should be able to get there without status and navigation bar ) or use this version http://db.tt/hMeT0kvg.
2: Now download this adw launcher http://db.tt/ezZp558n it is an old free version but works with or without root.
3: Now go to your file explorer and go to your download folder and find the adw launcher apk file you just downloaded and install it.
4: Once installed open the launcher and go to the app drawer from there you should see a settings icon. Press on it to access your system menu.
WARNING: This next step involves a factory restore and you will loose anything on your kindle. Everything will need to be Re downloaded and installed. You will also have to re root if you had root before.
5: Now in the system settings you need to go to device then factory restore. You will need to have your battery level at a minimum of 40% or you'll have to wait till it reaches that before you can factory restore.
Once restored you should be good to go.
Please give thanks to those who help. Everyone here helps and devotes there time to each other. Especially the developers. A thanks goes along way and is much appreciated.

You don't need an app, If you're rooted go into your system folder, then edit your build.prop and add the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 at the very bottom. Then save and reboot. Your softkeys will be gone. I recommend installing Ultimate Dynamic Navbar after that, because it allows you to set it up to where you can make the softkeys popup through swiping from the bottom edge, and then they go back into hiding.

did this as well but after adding this line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" it revert back, have you tried this?
some says this is not applicable in official 4.3
some info
-nexus 4 (rooted,all in stock 4.3)
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 works fine for me on stock jwr66v.
GMD hide bar works on rooted stock 4.3.
I'll try to edit the file as mentioned but if it works how to revert to stock? Placing 0 instead of 1? Can't remove the navbat while not knowing how to get it back.

Remove the line altogether. But before adding the line to remove the softkeys, make sure you have an alternate started, like LMT

Phone Crashes After Adding Line to build.prop
I attempted to add the "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" line to my build.prop using Root Explorer and Build Prop Editor and when I reboot my phone constantly shows a message saying that my systemui has stopped working. Then after my phone goes to sleep, it does not turn back on.
Any one know what could be causing this?
I am using PIE through an Xposed module but I keep getting the below message and was told that if I add this line the message will disappear.

I rooted my phone because...

Wanted to start a thread to see why people rooted their phones.
I rooted my Moto x because of the severe volume warning. I like to use a battery bar instead of the stock indicator. I like the crt screen off function in gravity box. I like a reboot menu....sometimes I want to reboot, ok?
I do several things with my rooted phone, but my big 3 that I can't seem to live without.
1. Free Wifi Tethering
2. Uninstalling/Freezing bloatware and Greenifying the rest
3. Backing up app data and games
1. Removal of bloatware and greenify
2. Xposed framework
3. Geek cred

Finally decided to root, since jcase released post ota root method.
I wanted root to.
1) debloat/greenify
2) allow tasker to toggle GPS
3) xposed framework
4) separate volume controls ie. Separate ring and notification volume.
5) minor tweaks like center clock, battery icon, remove carrier logo etc...

Battery bar? I've been looking for a way (xposed mod?) to get that thin 100% width line to show battery level. Is that what you're talking about?
1 - xposed framework, more specifically XUImod, listview animations and status bar colors
2 - TB
3 - debloat
To fix the wifi icon spacing and remove the carrier label.
to add the pull down quick settings from a right swipe
Strictly to get the idiotic att logo out of my status bar

Yeah, I root, install xposed framework, install gravity box, under status bar tweaks you can disable the battery icon and then install t.e.a.m. battery bar from google play.

i believe you have reboot recovery to make system writeable as with pwnmymoto. I haven't gotten this far yet to test. So, power off, hold vol down and power for 5 seconds, choose recovery with vol down, then vol up to select it. system should reboot r/w. hope this helps.
I rooted my phone because I use ad blocker, every once in a while I backup apps when switching ROMs and for some additional functions of Tasker.

Hi yash92duster
I've got both freezed by Titanium Backup
You may also debloat them.

com.samsung.android.app.galaxyfinder
Battery popup I don't have on my Note5 Ported ROM but probably is coming from Smart Manager.
Good luck and nice regards.

I use FireFDS Xposed module to remove SFinder and QC, and it will disable the cover warnings too

FireFDS Xposed module works perfect☺
:good:
To completely disable and hide the S-Finder and Quick Connect from the system and even on the Notification Pull-down do the following:
- With a filemanager go to system/etc/permissions
- Here rename com.sec.feature.findo.xml in com.sec.feature.findo.xml2
- Reboot
Make sure you are rooted, that's it. No need for Xposed, the module or any other additional apps.
Unless you are already running Xposed, and then you might as well just install a module, which does way more than just disable that one thing
