Verizon is offering 20% off 4G LTE phones. Promo code SAVE20
I was able to get customer service to find the code and apply it to my account. So I got $150 credit for the Pixel 128gb.
The exact wording of the promo is "INTERNET BARCODE OFFER 20 PERCENT OFF ANY 4G SMARTPHONE ON DPP BIC YES"
If you run through as a new customer it will work. You have to use the device payment plan. Also some people have not been able to get Verizon to honor it because they have a corporate discount. I have a corporate discount, unlimited data and also a $20 discount on both my unlimited data lines and they still honored the code.
This just made this phone totally worth it.
I'm trying to get a rep to honor the discount for my line. I have a corporate discount but it was not allowing him to apply it. I have it politely escalated to a supervisor to see if I can get it. The discount with the trade in of a an iPhone 4 I purchased for $20 will save me $350 on the pixel 128gb. Also I get to keep my S7 in case I'm not happy with the pixel.

I have seen more people getting this retroactively applied on other threads. But its been more misses than hits.
I tried getting it applied to a new order and although there are codes out there they seem to only apply to new customers. I did by an iPhone 4 off ebay with a clean ime number. I paid $30 for it and it will net me $200 of the pixel on a trade in. I'm going to wait until I receive the phone no call again.

Looks like the pixel is half off on Verizon for Thanksgiving with payment plan. Kinda wish I'd waited... Tried to convince vzw chat to give me a bill credit with no luck.

Yes.
Now today you can get the pixel 32gb for free with a trade in OS Samsung s6, s7, note 5, iPhone 6,7 and Droid turbo 2. I wish I had waited because I got a $200 credit when I traded in a Sprint iPhone 4 that I got from Craigslist for $20. You can get a Droid turbo 2 on Swappa.com for $200 and just trade that in.

If you let them know you do development, they'll give you employee pricing, just saying!

I actually did this 2 weeks ago in Daly City, CA. All I did was tell them that ATT is current offering 50% off smart phones which is still in their website. If you click on the deal link, you will see the GN3 is there. However, I believe it's only for phones < $200. But the manager knew about the deal and price matched without any resistance.
I did this again in Austin, TX last week for my dad. This time the manager is being more resistant. He said it's $250 on their website not $150. I then told him you have to complete the check out process for the promotion to show up. Luckily, one of his employees confirmed that. You might even be able to get it for $125 since it's $250 with 2 year contract on the ATT website.
Good luck.

BBY employee here. YMMV. Our store will price match after verifying their competitor has the phone in stock locally. Even then it's entirely at the discretion of that particular store. Good luck!

If this doesn't work, order the phone through ATT retention Dept. I got mine for $199 plus tax next day and $30 off messaging for 6 months and $100 (credit?) back after 40 days for renewing my contract. YMMV, but just keep on calling until they give you what you want. Took me 3 tries.
Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to inform you guys of this

How did you get that deal? All they offer me is 100 credit and phone full price. My girlfriend would be upgrading to new iphone and signing a 2 yr contract. We would be on a family plan and she would add me on with the note 3. How do I reach retentions? I called yesterday and said cancel but idk if that was retentions. They made a note on my account about the credits. I want to call back and at least get both phones for 200. Any advice how I go about this? The rep noted my account for the 2 100 credits after 30 and 45 days

Too bad BB doesn't go back 30 days like Sears (or like Sears used to, anyway). It would be nice to walk in with 2 phones and walk out with 2 phones and a check (or even store credit).

Are you eligible for an upgrade? I got the same offer. $100 credit after 30 days, $25 off any phone and waived activation fees.
I dialed 611 and choosed cancel service. Told the guy I wanted to cancel my line. Of course they always say sorry to hear that and would like to know why. I told him I found a better deal for the phone I wanted from another carrier. At the time Amazon was selling the note 3 for $124.99 with a new activation. What a great price huh but I've no intention of switching to sprint even if the phone was free. Terrible service where I live. I don't know if he bothered to look it up or not but a minute later I got the offer.
So I'm still not sure if I want buy the phone yet. I've been checking this forum to see if it's going to be worth it. As soon as safe strap arrive then I'll probably pull the trigger.
Oh and I've confirmed that you can still get the credit even if you don't order from At&t. I asked him to note that on my account. So basically I can get the note 3 from amazon for $199.99 minus the $100 credit.

i called att on black friday (just like last year when i got my 2 s3 for $.01 each) and requested an upgrade. the rep on the phone told me i was unable to upgrade at the 1 year point and had to wait for another year till my contract expired. i told her i was able to upgrade the year before with no problems and the rep told me their policies had changed and the only way i could upgrade was to switch to the next program (not happening). so i told her if i had to wait till next year that i would cancel my service and go else where. she asked what phones i wanted and i told her i wanted the s4 for the wife and i was on the fence about the lg g2 and the note 3. she put me on hold and came back saying they would allow me to upgrade early and they would give me the s4 for $49 and the note 3 for $99. so after taxes and everything (free overnight shipping, no activation fees) i paid $165 for an s4 and note 3. then my little victory came crashing down after i logged in here to find i was getting a locked bootloader

I got the Deal Of the Decade.
Note 3 $175
$100 bill credit (to be issued with 45 days)
Waived Upgrade Fee
Free Overnight Shipping
And ......... a Free Galaxy Gear smartwatch
That would mean I got the N3 for $75 ............................................................ but,
I just sold the Gear on Craig's List this afternoon for $240 bucks.
So I got the N3 for free, and put $165 in CASH straight into my xmas fund!
Holy crap, maybe the deal of the centry possibly? :victory:
^^^awsome deal, wish I got that.
Sorry for the late reply, but for those of you that couldn't get it, just call again, it took me 3 calls. I just told them that I need to lower my monthly bill and I want the phone for $199. Didn't need to beat around the bush for me, straight to the point. And one of my lines was due for an upgrade.
Just got to be persistent. Good luck
FYI, Amazon has the phone for $199 with upgrade. Maybe mention that if you want. But it shouldn't matter
Just letting you all know, Best Buy currently has the Note 3 for $149 for new lines, as well as the S4 for free (the promotion is for $50 off of the current sale price, so the Note 3 is listed at $199 and the S4 is 49.99). No haggling or price matching required. I set up a new Mobile Share plan on AT&T, ported over from Verizon, and got a Note 3 and S4 on contract for $160 out the door.
Just to be clear this is for new customers only?
Never made sense to me why people are promised the Moon until they are loyal customers...
I'd like my wife's note to actually be opened before the price drops from 300.... but if I can return it and rewrap it and pocket 100 more for Christmas that's okay too.

did you call att?
any notes on calling them and how to demand and get that kind of a price?
I currently have verizon galaxy nexus with unlimited data hooked up to my friends line for $50/month. contract ends in 2 weeks.
I have 6 lines with ATT for my family 10gb share and they only use like 4gb a month so if I join them for $30/month then I will be good for 5-6gb/month. I never went over 3gb/month with verizon all this time that I had UNLIMITED data. I really wanted to keep unlimited data with verizon and get the Note3 with them and pay $50/month with them but verizon won't let me keep the unlimited. the way around is I open a line with verizon and make a switch of phones and put dumb for the new opend line and pay $10/month then I will be paying $60/month to stay with Verizon to keep the unlimited data vs. $30/month with ATT with about 5-6gb/month.
I am debating but I know that I should go with ATT and save hundreds of $$ for next 2 years.
So Please help me and guide me to get some good deal like you :fingers-crossed:
I guess we wasted our time lol but if you get it in store you can still receive the rebate through Samsung . I hope Verizon stores can just make it a instant rebate in stores so we don't waste our time

Yeah, what phones? Thanks
I would check the trade in estimator on the verizon website and pick any phone and see whats the value verizon will give you. This is the link https://www.trade-in.vzw.com/ . Compare the phones estimates with the ones on ebays. Good Luck.
You can not fill in the rebate until you have the new phone. It is asking for the HEX and WIFI MAC address to complete the rebate.
I bought a $50 Droid Razr just to trade in, worth $15, sucks, but still worth netting $150
Droid x2 $30 on eBay
does this work on t-mobile? I didn't know about this promotion until now. I pre-ordered my note 4 on Sept 24 and received my phone on Oct 13. Can I still do the trade in?
The droid X2 only has a trade in value of $8.00 with Verizon. I believe that it has to be worth at least $10.00 ?
Does it have to be a Verizon phone for them to take it?

I'm using the best buy $200 gift card promo which doesn't require a $10 minimum. (and even if it does they value the droid x2 trade in @ $15) price wise to get a phone with a $10 trade in value thru verizon I think your best bet would be a droid RAZR.
I'd like to see if any of you with the Verizon "More Everything" plan will get to keep your "Month2Month" $25 discount when you switch to the 2015 Moto X. This was one of the issues we had with the Nexus 6, prior to VZW white listing all IMEIs.
There is confirmation that the new phone with work on Verizon and it appears that "Advanced Calling" works as well. Their new BYOD policy states you can bring any CDMA phone with no contract. I'm hoping that I dont have to switch to the full "no contract" plan, as it is actually a little more expensive than my current plan.
So, once you-all start getting your phones, can someone confirm that you are keeping the $25 discount please? Thanks!
As long as you have the discount already, it will work. Even a new customer who brings this device will get it right away, since there is no device being subsidized by Big Red.

The month to month ($25) discount is different than the employer based discount (usually a percentage of the data plan).
With the Nexus 6 (prior to white listing), you would loose the $25 discount on the More Everything plan because the IMEI's were not in VZW's system. This didn't seem to have an affect on the employer discount. I'm guessing with their new policy that all will be well, but I'd like someone to confirm that has this plan and the new Moto X Pure.
It should be fine my contract ended yesterday and I have it applied already. Swapping Sim card shouldn't matter.

From what I saw with the Nexus 6, you should be fine. I'd bet you can even get the "out of contract" discount for not ordering a new device under contract.

Bump
Just got off the phone with Verizon. I couldn't find anything in writing on the promo they had in Dec (10/mo for Pixel XL 32 and $15/mo Pixel XL 128GB) so I called in. The CSR told me I didn't qualify for the discount because I had to send a trade-in. I never got an email saying a trade in was required and the promotion at that time didn't require one. I was about to RMA the phone when I asked to talk to a supervisor. She found that the promotion was valid and that there was no trade in required and honored the $15/mo price.
So just a heads up for you guys that ordered during that promo. Hopefully mine was just a fluke but you may wanna call verify that the month credits will be applied.
Wow, the promo I had was 20/mo for 128 XL
Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
Yea, it was 15/mo for 32gig, not 10. At least that's what I saw in store and on their webpage. But grats on the deal!
I thought it was $20/mo too but she told me it was $15 a month.
I just verified that it is $20/mo. I had them send the discount in writing and it's a 389.69 over 24moths with me paying 460 over 24months.

Yeah I remember, wow seems like so long ago. But that loop hole only lasted for a few hours and I only saw one or 2 people that got it before it closed. I wound up paying $240 ($10 / month) no trade in for the Pixel 32 on black Friday at vzw. Never even activated it on Verizon either but still paying the 10 bucks / mo. to them. I think the deal was only on Friday not thru the weekend. I could be wrong on that though. The cyber Monday deal was with a trade in I think.
Yeah the best Black Friday through Monday deals I saw included a trade-in too, and I just didn't want to trade in my old phone. (But you could have added the trade-in deal to the 12/15 promo too.) And Best Buy didn't stock the XL 128 at all, so that wasn't an option. To compare it to the Pixel or even the 32XL, that isn't apples-to-apples. But with the 12/15-12/20 promo, at $20/mo for 24 months on Verizon (if you already use VZW anyway) you're getting the top flagship XL128 for a total of $480 with 0% interest, over time. That's a screaming deal in my book. And if you had any sort of wait, VZW has been willing to make that deal even sweeter.
Not sure about your promo, I ordered my XL 128 GB on the 15th of December and canceled and reordered the 17th because the promo was $15 with no trade in but the phone was free with qualifying trade in, which my Note 5 was.

I ordered on the 17th too. It was $20/mo for the XL128. The only way you got it for $15/mo is by VZW giving you a $25 line credit off your $40/mo line access fee because you're on an old plan and paying higher rates anyway. If you're on a new plan the line access fee is $20/mo. The VZW reps play funny math to make you think you're getting a better deal all the time but in the end it's all the same.

I was having the same exact thing! After multiple hours on the phone, online and in the store. Finally was elevated to retention department and they were able to fix the problem (I think they simply voided the lease). So frustrating since my wife's had no problem upgrading. Glad to hear (although unfortunate) that I wasn't the only one having this problem.

And I am excited to get to a "truly one handed" phone with a large screen (if infact the S8 can be that for me).

I pre-ordered in black, online at 1 am on the 30th. Hoping they ship early, but being on sprint and with a Samsung phone I doubt it.

Just wanted to share some of the information I put together while putting in two pre-orders for S8's today at a Best Buy Mobile store.
First off, I was informed by the Assistant Manager that helped me at Best Buy Mobile that the $50 "gift card" for the S8 and $100 "gift card" for the S8+ would lower the amount of the installments over the period of the 24 month installment plan (I assume the same for the lease option too).
For instance, if I go with the 24 month installments on the S8 ($50 deal), I would get $2.08 off for 24 months bringing the monthly price down from $31.25 to $29.17. If I got the S8+ ($100 deal), I would get $4.16 off for 24 months bringing the monthly price down from $35.42 to $31.26.
Now based on what I have read on other forums I am still left wondering if I am actually getting a gift card for the phone or if it will be applied like mentioned above.
In addition I called Sprint to ask about the special offer "Get a $10/mo. loyalty credit on lease or installment billing when you stay on your current plan." that shows on my account. I was informed that I would not be eligible to receive this credit if I got the phone from Best Buy and the only way would be to order it through Sprint or through "telesales". I feel like the person was lying to me and just trying to get a sale.
The Assistant Manager at Best Buy Mobile checked with her local rep who told her that I would get the $10 loyalty credit and that it doesn't matter where the phone comes from; if your plan is eligible the credit will hit your account within a few billing cycles. I asked about the waived $30 upgrade fee that Sprint is offering. The rep said I would not get that (which I'm OK with if everything else checks out).
Anyway, if all this works like I have been told by Best Buy, my two S8's I ordered will be $19.17 a month and if I would have got an S8+ it would come to $21.26 a month.
The question is what is true and what is not true?
Preordered from sprint.com the first day it was available. Getting a $10 a month loyalty credit, or $240 off over 2 years.
Moving from a S4.
I ordered mine from Sprint today. I normally would have used Best buy but they don't offer Galaxy forever.
I had the same problems ordering as others here. They tried to charge me for the rest of my lease from my S7.
Once I called they cancelled the rest of my lease to fix the problem.
At this point it seems Sprint has the best pre-order deal.
