Wifi Issues

Hi,
I've had my N4 since a couple of days and have encountered some issues when using the phone on Wifi. I use connectify as a virtual wifi router on my laptop. My phone keeps loosing the data stream from time to time even though the Wifi symbol remain active. I either have to disable/enable the Wifi or restart connectify to get the data stream to work. Any suggestions how to fix this ?

It could be android's fault. I have the same problem on my Galaxy 3. The phone even loses the signal if I'm sitting in front of the router. It's noticeable if the icon shows sending data and occasionally receiving data, but not at the same time.
I have two other PCs in the same room and they don't have this problem so the router is probably fine.

My nexus 4 has great WiFi receptions. I was using the iphone 5 last week and i had issues connecting yo my home WiFi, i think because of some WPA or wep security, the iPhone would connect 2 times out of 10 when i turn on WiFi. It always connects with my nexus 4.

data connection issues on RR 5.8.0 and cm 14.1 roms by mshoaib7

i have been facing data connection issues particularly on jio4g. The data connection was lost and unable to connect to internet even after reboot.please help

Use CM14.1 this Rom has less data bug (almost none)
Or use LTE Discovery App for restarting data connection

thanks..problem solved and again there is a new problem with the portable wifi hotspot error.is it a bug or is there anything wrong with phantom r4 kernel.

I would suggest you pacrom 6.1 or aosp extended v2.Both these ROMs have great support for jio with fluent performance and great battery backup.
I switched both rr5.8.0 and cm14.1.Now I'm using aosp extended. Try it.

Cellular data not working

Whenever I try to use my WiFi hot-spot with my cellular data, on my computer, I experience a loss of speed, and for some things like playing Among Us my data doesn't work!
I'm on Xiaomi.eu Stable 12.0.1 on a redmi note 7
Do you have any idea? I also have a friend who tried to use my hot-spot but it was as if I was in limited data

What App is using wifi

So, I am running Android 10 under MiUi 12 in a redmi note 9s.
I connected to net. data and suddenly large amount of data transfer occurred, all apps are closed, google play store ison wifi only setting.
How can I find what app was using internet?
I've atempt to go network data usage but it only display today, and today include 4gigabyte of data already.
I've installed Network Connections app but it doesn't work (phone is not rooted)

WiFi Connection

In part this is copied from the xiaomi community because no one is responding there.
I have the xiaomi Mi 9 Lite on MIUI 12.0.10 (still waiting longer than 1.5 year on miui 12.5).
If I connect my phone to our WiFi network its is connected to Wifi 5 (AC). But afer some time its goes automatically to wifi 4(N). which is not the intention. Is here a fix for?
Our Wifi network has suppord for Wifi 5 (AC) and is set to maximum performance. If a setting in the network needs to be changed, it won't happen Because I can't access the network settings.
Wifi 4 is slower and consumes more energy....
