Anyone tried this? I've been reading that people have been getting it to work, but haven't seen it confirmed by anyone in this community. CM 14.1 is Nougat/Android 7, and supposedly, the christer12 build is compatible with VZW Note 3 devices. Tempted to try it, but looking for feedback first.

I used philz recovery.
*First flash this philz for note 3 hlte
*After that,make factory reset.
*Then install rom with gapps
*Reboot system and relax
Pls make sure you select the hlte folder not hltevzw and look for 6.48.4 version which is the latest in that folder

OMG!!! This ROM is seriously rediculous! I currently rock a Pixel XL 128GB (black) and have a Nexus 6P 128GB (graphite) and I just dug out my old Verizon galaxy note 3 since I saw you guys have a bootloader unlock for it. Two words...Holy $H17!!! I have never been so impressed with how fluid and snappy old hardware is with plain vanilla android. It seriously feels just as fast as my pixel FFS! Literally turning down the animations to .5 makes touches instantaneous.
Everything seems to work flawlessly save for text and phone calls. I was able to lock onto 4G with Verizon sim by selecting CDMA/LTE in network settings. Browsing the web and play store works on LTE, but still no text or phone calls.
Bravo to the maker of this ROM. It very much looks as though Google has truly matured Android into a world class operating system. To be able to have a new OS work this fast on old hardware is spectacular. BTW... I used TWRP to flash and Pico gapps 32bit. Thank you to all who helped with bootloader unlock, twrp, and ROM dev. Cheers!

Where's CM14 located? I am having a hard time finding it or I seem to be blind right now. I'd like to find out if it'll work on my Note 3. I switched from Verizon to Cricket. My phone is a Baseband N900VVRUEOF1 Hardware N900V.07 but because of the switch it says model SM-G935F. Currently running Darklord S7E.G935FXXU1APC8 Thanks for any help.

Late answer but in case anyone else goes looking here's the announcement thread
christer12's XDA thread
I'm also running the latest build (11/24) just fine besides a couple hiccups here and there, I don't use my note 3 for any network/lte functionality, just for music so I can't verify things like that but overall the rom is running smooth and cleanly, I had problems with Philz recovery personally but I've been on TWRP 2.8.7.0 and it's never once given me any difficulty since then.

So, I was going to use Cf-Auroroot like I have for every other Samsung device I've got but apparently there's an issue with it for the N915G.
What I did was put the latest super su file (i used v2.40) on my external SD card and then in Odin flash the latest TWRP recovery from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/general/easy-steps-stock-odin-n915tuvu1anjl-sm-t2943993 (you can also use the sd card fix from here too, flash in TWRP, just install supersu, then add another flash file and install the sd card fix).
Go to recovery mode and flash super su.
I found it had an error flashing cache but a factory reset fixed this so best done BEFORE setting everything up.
Let phone reset, set it up and you now have root access with a clean install of stock rom.
Happy days.
This worked fine for me and left out the step of flashing CF-Autoroot which wasn't needed.
You will still trip Knox.
I don't know if this will work flawlessly for you or for all models, especially if the bootloader is locked, but theoretically it should.
Good luck guys, happy flashing.
And HAPPY NEW YEAR...

You should not have many issues with 5.0.1. What you need to do after flashing the 5.0.1...you need to reset to factory setting. Im sure by now you know when upgrading..you still keep data from the kitkat. This may cause conflict and issues. At the moment the only issue i had is sometime i get that contact closed notifications. I have google this issue...seem like it happen to other phones to with early 5.0.1. For me im ok...cause it only happen very rarely...i hope a much later lollipop will fix this issues.

Possibly flashing the modem and non-HLOS.bin for AT&T.
I can't really say as I live in Oz and have no problems with voice calls...
I do find that my bars don't tend to go over 3 or more than halfway but that could be due to where I live and the crappy coverage we get here... No problem with voice calls though...

So I've been getting kind of angry that T-Mobile hasn't updated the phone to KitKat and I tried something on my own. Flashing the MetroPCS KitKat software version on my device via Odin. Guess what? It worked. The only thing was that after it updated all the apps, it installed some MetroPCS bloatware. I don't mind that but this is awesome that I was actually able to install the SGH-T399N software on the SGH-T399. Try it for yourself and let me know how it went for you.

The moderators have been very good at providing us ROMs but it seems as if the T-Mobile Note Edge development is slowing down. I did some digging and found we are able to use the M6 ROM from Dr. Keton from the Note 4 Snapdragon (maybe others as well). Dr. Keton has put out a very nice ROM based off of the S7 Edge, Note 5 and has the fully functional theme store provided.
T-Mobile Note Edge (May work for others)
*Must first be on full stock PE3 (Marshmallow) & recovery (I went with TWRP 3.0)
1) Wipe Data, Dalvik, Cache x3, then REBOOT RECOVERY!!
2) Flash M6 ROM (N910G MM)
3) Flash 910T-MM_DataFixs7rebootmenu
4) Flash BeastModeKernel-1.0BETA-N915P-MM-RAGE
*Can also flash BeastModeKernel-2BETA-MM
5) Reboot (First boot will take 10-15mins)
6) Once booted, don't touch phone for 5 mins!
7) Apply Essential fix (will auto pop-up at setup screen & GRANT superuser request)
8) Profit!

I did! I fixed it... Erh... Here's hoping I can recall what I did to fix it...
The culprit was the kernel, I believe.
I thiiink I used BeastModeKernel-2BETA-MM.zip googlit and it you'll find it right off the bat
Oh! and the data fix N910V_6.0.1_BootLoader_MM_Datafix.zip
Start new, flash the ROM, kernel, and data fix in that order then do the forever-and-a-year boot and wait for Katan's tools to do their thing and when it's all done you should have 4G. I did so much messing around trying to get this to work (while intoxicated), and just got it working about an hour ago. Seems I either had no sms and working play store, or no play store and working sms. But I got it working now. Now I'm trying to get advanced calling to work, it showed up briefly in the settings, but that was when my play store wasn't working and I haven't seen it since.

Fixes
1. Found you will need screen mirroring fix:
wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable
Then you must disable: android.app.wfdbroker via Titanium Backup
2. Open phone dialer and click "More" then click "Settings" then turn off "Voice over LTE Preferred". This will fix call issues.

If you have TWRP installed, FORMAT DATA x3, WIPE EVERYTHING BUT SD CARD x3 then Odin latest 6.0 MM firmware without an External SD Card inserted. Odin TWRP 3.0, wipe data, Dalvik, cache only x3, then reboot recovery. Follow the rest of the steps but use 915F/910F MM data fix-->Might have to Google it.
Ok i will tried it one more time when i am at home. Thank you.
I think with the same procedure i can flash other Custom Roms too?
And why must i format data x3 and cache x3 and sd card x3? x3 means three times?
And why must i take out the external sd card?
I have been making ROMs for the N915F and N915T, and, by God's grace, they have been working.
I do not own a N915 CDMA phone, but I have created some builds, so I need some testers, if anyone is willing. Here is a link to download PAC 6.0.1 made for CDMA phones:
https://www.mediafire.com/download/7he853zinf6x3f7
You may need a data fix zip from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/marshmallow-6-0-1-ports-data-fixes-t3379978
I *think* you will need to be on a 5.1.1 bootloader and modem, but you can try on 6.0.1 also. Your bootloader needs to be unlocked. You will need TWRP, and this may or may not work. I am pretty sure it will boot, because of a tester I am working with, but the more testers the better. I need actual details, like what modem/bootloader you are using, if it did or did not boot, install, work, etc. Screenshots help me visualize what you are talking about. Etc.
I have a few people who were testing, but they have lives and things get busy. So I am hoping to get a few more testers to help speed up the process.

One tester said that he was on 5.1.1, Verizon, and without using the datazips, could make a phone call, but couldn't receive one. There are several datazips listed above, perhaps one of them would enable calls to also be received, if anyone was willing to test.
Thanks to the 2 testers who did respond.

Mostly because I do not have one to test, so I have no idea what works or what doesn't unless someone tests it and gives me specific details.
you still working on this? just got the sprint note edge. once i rooted it, will try it.

Be sure to back up what you have first. I don't know how well it works, because I have the T-Mobile variant. But you are welcome to try it.
will do. would you make a N7.x rom in the near future?

It depends on how this one goes.
Mickey387 made a N7 Resurection Remix ROM for the international variant, so I don't see why we can't have one for the Sprint variant. Might take a while, since Cyanogen is gone, everything is switching to LineageOS as a base, so that takes a bit of time....

Yes:
I *think* you will need to be on a 5.1.1 bootloader and modem, but you can try on 6.0.1 also. Your bootloader needs to be unlocked. You will need TWRP, and this may or may not work. I am pretty sure it will boot, because of a tester I am working with, but the more testers the better. I need actual details, like what modem/bootloader you are using, if it did or did not boot, install, work, etc. Screenshots help me visualize what you are talking about. Etc.

You can try on 6.0.1 first, but I really believe that you will need to be on the 5.1.1 modem and bootloader. To do that, you would need to use Odin and flash stock 5.1.1 for your phone, then flash TWRP, then wipe and flash this rom.
However, you can try it on 6.0.1, but if it doesn't work right (like the data/cellular/camera/etc.) then you would need to flash the 5.1.1. Thanks.
Get the 5.1.1 here:

Well, I'm sorry to say that it's impossible to work, since the variant degaslte (which contains connectivity, 4G aka LTE) has another processor, so it will not work, you will not be able to install it, the processor of the T230 variant is the Marvell PXA1088, while the T235 (LTE VERSION) has the processor exynos. That is why the development of roms takes a long time for this variant

Hey,
I got some questions , T230nu stock , I have been readin all the threads on twrp and root threads for t230nu pa1, as this stock rom is only good for vids, so i am totally confused how to best load y8ur latest creation 4.4.4 too make this paperweight usable
So ya i am new to droid but really these threads are totally miffed, like whats the deals with twrp? From what i can tell i have to load 2.7.8.4 or under then i can upgrade to 3.1.1.1degaswifi, or do i have to unlock bootloader first, these dang threads just do not explain properly, i have wasted we3k read7ng them, i swear i feel l am dealing with the government circlejrkm one thread says root first ,when i get to end it reveals if you already have twrp, so i goto twrp and read and those threads lead back if you have root and/or prior twrp install ! what gives even the twrp main website is jqcked with the prior install gunk.
Oh and i just love the thread that starts with " I am going too assume you have abd bootloader unlocked allready" REALLY
So can you maybe point me to a proper guide so i can get this paperweight too qctually work because it is my only inet access rite know and the stock rom is horrible

FYI, paperweight in Android terms, means, it is a hard bricked device. The Tab 4 don't have a locked bootloader. Any TWRP for SM-T230 / NU, will work to install my Android 4.4.4 ROM, https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/sm-t230-nu-unofficial-cm-11-based-t3648887.
Secretwolf,
Thanks for the fast reply, for me any device thats basically useless is a paperweight, but i"ll keep in mind that ya"ll use the term meaning for bricked.
So i am going togo buddies today and try to load the lastest twrp, d3gaswifi1100.img . I just cant afford major issues as i dont have easy access to pc to fix it. Seems you and others have been using the eur version is that because the usa doesnt work ?As i am in usa and planned on using that version, i take the eur with incase,
Well gotta give up today as just tryin to type with thing is horr7ble , and i have todo a restore once a week just so the browser will load inet. This keyboard is horrid
