Assertive display? - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

What is this future? and how does it work?

It shifts the gammacurve depending on the brightness of the surrounding. Looks p awful if u ask me

I don't notice any difference with it on or off.

Basically, it's meant to (when outdoors, for example) automatically adjust individual pixels' brightness instead of increasing the overall display brightness. This leads to better power efficiency.

More color saturation

Hey I've rooted my n4 and installed cm10 + infinity kernel but I can't figure out how to add more color saturation on the screen. I even bought faux clock but it only gives me the opportunity to take make it worse since I can just say rgb 0/255 and it already is on max.
Oh and how can I remove the title yellowish thing? Which color is it from rgb?
Thanks in advance

Try and checkout paranoid android's feb 5 build. Color overload.

AW: More color saturation
Thanks for your response. Guess I will give both a try. And btw I don't want over saturation. Just slightly more. I like the n4 colors. Am I able to set it back to default on the kernel.. And Rom?

to adjust the saturation you have to adjust the color amp values not the RGB values and if they are not adjustable in faux clock then your kernel doesn't support adjusting the color amp
Is there really absolutely no description about francos kernel?
And thanks @DynamicRam: How do I know which Kernel supports this? ._.
Like already mentioned FauxClock can adjust the gamma values and give you more saturation, but afaik until now it's only supporting faux kernel and stock kernel.
In my opinion faux kernel is really nice, would give it a try!
And like also already mentioned paranoid android is coming with changed values after flashing, and since everbody is going crazy about PA colors, I think I'll try it myself.
But what's also worth mentioning is, that every screen seems to be a bit different. In this thread you'll find a public spreadsheet with different values which people liked, there you can test and find you personal favourite. I myself like line 44 in this sheet.

I just flashed the faux kernel and will give amp adjust a try now. Thanks for tips and your link

Can moto x active notifications take advantage of non amoled screens?

Hi guys, I am wondering about the active notifications from motox if on non amoled screens like nexus 4 can have some economy in battery life. I noticed when I used similar software from play store all pixels of nexus 4 display are turned on.

Nope that's exactly the problem. Only amoled can turn of unneeded pixels. It's not a matter of software

Throttling when battery is around 20 % , without turning on battery saver mode

My Nexus 6P gets really laggy when the battery percentage is approaching 25-20% , like some sort of throttling kick in , but I'm completely sure that the battery save mode is disabled , is this standard Android behavior ? I remember facing the same issue with my Nexus 6

Yes. The Snapdragon 808 and 810 both throttle when the CPU is warm and when the battery is below 20%.

Check the accessibility services, sometimes this happens, it's not limited to axon, my Moto X 2014 had the same thing.
