More color saturation - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey I've rooted my n4 and installed cm10 + infinity kernel but I can't figure out how to add more color saturation on the screen. I even bought faux clock but it only gives me the opportunity to take make it worse since I can just say rgb 0/255 and it already is on max.
Oh and how can I remove the title yellowish thing? Which color is it from rgb?
Thanks in advance

Try and checkout paranoid android's feb 5 build. Color overload.

Try francos kernel 68 colors more deep and vibrant

AW: More color saturation
Thanks for your response. Guess I will give both a try. And btw I don't want over saturation. Just slightly more. I like the n4 colors. Am I able to set it back to default on the kernel.. And Rom?

to adjust the saturation you have to adjust the color amp values not the RGB values and if they are not adjustable in faux clock then your kernel doesn't support adjusting the color amp

Is there really absolutely no description about francos kernel?
And thanks @DynamicRam: How do I know which Kernel supports this? ._.

Like already mentioned FauxClock can adjust the gamma values and give you more saturation, but afaik until now it's only supporting faux kernel and stock kernel.
In my opinion faux kernel is really nice, would give it a try!
And like also already mentioned paranoid android is coming with changed values after flashing, and since everbody is going crazy about PA colors, I think I'll try it myself.
But what's also worth mentioning is, that every screen seems to be a bit different. In this thread you'll find a public spreadsheet with different values which people liked, there you can test and find you personal favourite. I myself like line 44 in this sheet.

I just flashed the faux kernel and will give amp adjust a try now. Thanks for tips and your link

[Q] Possible to port SGS 3 UI with all features on SGN?

Is it possible to port the rom from sgs3 to the note?
I like the ui and the features.

thats nice
I don't see a good reason why not. Unless there is some sort of dedicated hardware for face recognition or it relies on 4cores to have a reasonable performance.

Unfortunaly in other forum a man who knows much about mobiles says no it doesnt go because the sensors are different. I hope some cracks can do it.

i also trying to get the galaxy s4 / galaxy s3 lockscreen to my nexus 4 but i haven't found it yet..
Thanks For Help!

That's not the same.
Samsung toggles are way better IMO + they can be sorted and the best of all, you can change screen brightness with the slider.
Power toggles is not capable of this.

Try slimbean rom. This rom has brightness slider and you can sort every toggle.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not into Roms and flashing anymore since I got my nexus.
I think Google should implement those things into android by default.

Not gonna happen. Those toggles are part of Samsungs Closed source propritary Android Distro. As for not flashing roms because you have a nexus. Not sure how you figure that. Even the new 4.3 OTA is already out dated.
So there is no way to get this things on my nexus? Its have to be a way to do that somehow no?

Yes there is, learn how to build android and port the feature from the galaxy s4.
And you have a nexus dude! You need to flash flash flash to try out what all the great devs are doing around here. Else get an s4 and be quiet.

No there is not. You can try custom roms or build a rom from source and try to add the elements you want (a buddy did the sliders awhile ago) but for the samsung one. No as there is no source code to use and it needs to re-write a bunch of system files from the ground up.
I dont see all big hypevfrom galaxy s 4 i traded mine for nexus 4 and im loving it way more cuatomizable

Custom accent colours

Well hello there.
I am loving the customisability through accent colours in this version of oxygen OS, however the selection of colours is very limited. I would, per example, very much like a dark red-ish colour. I have been doing some browsing on the internet but I couldn't find anything about custom accent colours.
Is it possible to change or even add to the default colour selection or is it too much of a hassle for anyone to have tried?
Thanks in advance,
Rintse.
If you have root and Xposed you can try LPThemer.

Assertive display?

What is this future? and how does it work?
It shifts the gammacurve depending on the brightness of the surrounding. Looks p awful if u ask me

I don't notice any difference with it on or off.

Basically, it's meant to (when outdoors, for example) automatically adjust individual pixels' brightness instead of increasing the overall display brightness. This leads to better power efficiency.

Yes if you flash a note7 US Rom or S8 UX Rom you can turn on outdoor mode.
