I was once enrolled in the beta program and now that I've unenrolled I no longer get the monthly security updates. The last time I got an update was back in August, which is also the time I unenrolled. If I join the beta program again it will show that I have an update to install, but at the same time I don't want to be enrolled in order to get the updates.
Anyone experienced this before?
Same for me.

I just got a message saying that I was able to get the upgrade for my phone I tried to download it but I lost my 3G (Which has been happening lately I don't know if its a nationwide problem or just were I live its been happening since last week) Anyway back to the subject how do I check for the upgrade again it said it would try to download again with the next sync how can I make it happen manually? Please help I want 6.5 lol
And I guess this confirms that 6.5 will be coming to the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2.
This article may be of interest to you.
If you really want WinMo 6.5, just head over to the ROMs section and flash away. But if you don't want to HSPL, you'll need to wait. I reckon you should be able to see the official update here when it arrives.
When did you get this message?
I will be calling them in the morning as I have not got any message about an upgrade, and they promised to text me as soon as it became available
I checked the T-Mobile website and it says that the update will be available on the 6th of January but I got the message from the Windows Mobile app. I'm always for some reason getting the updates early when I had the sidekick I got the update a month early. When I had the G1 I got my updates a month or two before the official release. And I'm mad because the download failed and it said it would download again with the next sync but I can't get it to attempt a download again.
Labarum-If and when the update becomes available you won't receive a text from t-mobile for an update thats not the way they do it. Usually its a screen that pops up over whatever your doing and it stays there until you confirm or deny the update for later.
ohyeahar-I know about the ROMs but I don't want to flash till I get the update and if I don't like it I will flash to a new rom.

O and calling T-Mobile won't do anything to tell you the truth they will either tell you that they don't know when the update will become available or tell you that you have to wait till January 6th. And tell you to check here for the update http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/ Sorry to tell you this but thats what they always do when I call them or when friends of mine call them the people over the phone can't give you all the details since most of them are being recorded and if they do give you more details than they are suppouse to they can get in trouble if not fired for it.
Hey guys! So I've been waiting patiently for my KitKat Update and checking for updates daily. I see people are starting to get their updates as of yesterday so I decided to check today. When I went to check today my device is telling me that I am up to date and the last time it was checked was 11/19. I tap the Check for Updates and nothing happens. Is anyone else having the same issue?
FYI: I am stock and not rooted.
Mine is doing the same thing except it just stopped working a few hours ago. I thought maybe I broke the Check Now button from hitting it so frequently.
Not an issue. Updates are rolled out in stages: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/1...to-never-clear-google-service-framework-data/
If you really want the update, grab the OTA and do it yourself.

if you hit "check now", the last checked time should get updated. If its showing an earlier date, there should be problems with the network. And also not every region gets updates at once. will roll out in stages. I'm waitng!
I've been trying to set "Time rule" for Automatic rules, activates during Start time but does not deactivates after End time. Anyone having this issue?? Tried a few set ups but none shuts off when it's End time.
Same here. It's a bug in Mi A1 since the first time I use DND on the phone. It will deactivate itself but longer than the schedule. I just updated to the latest OTA. I'll try to see if it's been fixed tomorrow morning in my end time schedule of DND.

There's a new update for october security patch. Go check your system update manually.
Also having that issue. Just updated to the October patch, hope it fixes it.
Update - It isn't fixed for me. Still doesn't disable at the right time. It's odd how enabling isn't affected so surely it can't be that difficult to fix?
same here
Seems to be fixed after the Oct 30 update, at least for me.
October update seems didn't fix.
It seems xiaomi and Google abandoned Mi A1..
I had the same issue, I think it's something to do with the "update" of the OS.
Sort of not fresh installed OS (probably factory reset will help)
Try removing all the profiles and create new ones... Did it yesterday and it helped
I have been using my S7 Edge since March 2016 and has been refusing new updates, including the Nougat 7.0 update successfully with no issue until recently. It started a few days ago,, when all of a sudden it started to download the OTA on its own without my knowledge, initially using my home WIFI but but two days ago, it started to download OTA using mobile 4G data, depleting more than half of my monthly data quota. this is totally insane and secret downloading process keep coming back everynight to download god know what. I noticed that the notification message shows that the Nougat Update is only 1.3gig in size but since last Wednesday, the SAMSUNG SOFTWARE UPDATE service has downloading a whopping over 10gig of data, all tracked down and recorded by MY DATA MANAGER app, which I had running constantly to monitor my mobile data usage.
Anyone has encounter similar force-feed update and/or know what could possibly be wrong and where should I start looking for a possible solution ?
P/S: I am not rooted and already has BK Package Disabler to disable the Software Update service, which manage to remove the notification message and pop-up, but doesnt seem to be able to disable the unauthorised, unrequested package download by the SOFTWARE UPDATE service.. HELP !!!!!
