I just got my LG-H910 yesterday from ATT (the About Phone info says it's this model number).
I've checked for updates several hours later, and it says I'm up to date. I'm having a few software bugs (like being unable to shrink the screen for One-Handed mode. I'm doing the swipe thing just like the instructions say in the settings, but nothing happens).
So, I'm just curious: What is the latest firmware version and am I up to date?
My Build Number is NRD90M, and Software Version is H91010C
You have to swipe all the across to the side you want shrunk down version.

Where exactly did you swipe? You have to press and swipe on the back button on the navigation bar for it to work.
Ive swiped every which way possible. Left and right from just the home button, just the back button, just the recent button, from the back button to the far right, from the recent button to the far left, from the far left to the far right, from the far right to the far left, etc.
Nothing works. And yes, the option is enabled.

Edit: Fixed the mini-view issue. Went to settings/Accessibility/ and dosabled Switch Access. No clue how that turned on, but now I can use mini-view!
Now back on topic since no one has answered my question. What is the latest firmware version?
Whatvis the difference between h91010l and h91010c?
I just received H91010M on my H910. It was a two step update and has the April 1st security update. Still 7.0. Not sure what else has changed and can't find anything online about it when I Google the software version.
I just got an update message from att on my v20, no idea what it's for.

Can you do a back up and upload it to us?
I don't get it. My wife's Stylo is on the Feb 2017 security patch, my gpad just today got the April 2017 patch, yet my v20 which costs more than both of this put together is stuck back at the Dec 2016 security patch?

Was anyone able to back up the H91010M update? I tried to update my unrooted phone with this OTA in system update and now I am stuck in a bootloop. I am wondering if I can get this file can I use LGUP to do the FOTA option and recover my phone from the bootloop?
Thanks

I have a EUR model so I will have to wait. But is the bug that the LG G3 had since the update to Lollipop solved? The bug where the screen goes on every 10 seconds after the battery is fully loaded using a wireless pad? Since the update to lollipop I cant use wireless charging anymore since this is a very anoying bug.
Wouldn't know. This is my first time on Lollipop.

My SEA/20b version has intermittent weirdness with wireless charging. It often wakes in the night to say its charging slowly. I'm using an LG WCP-700 charging pad.
Guys, for some reason I feel that 20b is better than 20e (had that before the official launch of lollipop for SEA).
after updating via pc suite and checking for another update, it shows two upgrades available with version that is still v20b.
can someone please let me know if they have successfully upgraded their phone with both upgrades?
thanks.

well that didnt go well, it was a two part update to 20b, after the first part installed it got stuck in a boot loop and then second part installed still in boot loop, after install finished it just kept boot looping, i had to put it in recovery mode and do a factory reset, that worked but it loaded up with 10k 4.4.2 kitkat, so pluged it back in and ive just updated back to 20b, think ill leave it there unless somebody wants to try it

Update sucks, a bit laggy, and usage bumped up from 14% to 20% in smart cleaning. And there's really no need for T-action, though quick remote did get its very much needed upgrade.
I think this has some added bloatware to it, guest mode is gone (i mean half-a$$ed), quick memo+ does not activate when pressing its icon from the integrated home button, but I did discover a way to use it.
First, open the quick memo icon (green), close it, then press the shortcut on the home tray, now it works!
does anyone of you know what's the difference between the brightness slider on notification widget having C on it and without C? I cannot understand what's the difference, it seems the same for me.

I haven't noticed anything different. I disabled milk music as soon as saw it. Other than that no change at all. Weird! However, 5.1 will be rolling out the end of the month.. Long over due!
I just finished d/ling and updating via Smart Switch (Kies) as well - no noticeable changes here either. The only differences I notice are the Baseband & Build versions now end in BOF1, and of course the addition of Milk - which was promptly disabled. For some reason - under Options>System Updates says 'Software update is temporarily unavailable" when I tap it now. Will keep checking to see if I can find anything else...
No changes here either, although the kernel version seems to be a little different. Also this app that I circled, doesn't look familiar at all.
Just found something new. When using chrome if I go to droid life or yahoo.com, the status bar turns pink or purple. Never did that before.

It is simple. Just use a file explorer (like es file explorer) to unzip it to a folder named dload on sd or internal memory then go to settings/update/local update and hit install. No pc needed, works the same as ota download.
Do I lose everything and have to start from scratch? I read I have to unlock the bootloader.
I've done exactly that,but i get this error message,sigh....
I took the plunge and can confirm double tap to wake not working and unlock screeb slide in Chinese text.
I used this link
http://7961b64fc16ad15a92ef-9f98f1e...cf3.rackcdn.com/downloads/PE-TL10C900B324.zip
No chinese text as its the international update. Not sure if bootloader needs to be unlocked as mine is but I wouldn't think so for an official update. Don't lose any data but if it doesn't play nice it may be best to full wipe. Mine is OK but I was running B305 beta so not much has changed but I did do a full wipe when I put the beta on.

Sorry for the misspelling. I meant to say "without any problems" not "without many problems". In fact, the whole update process was smooth and fast. Everything works fine. I understand, however, that everyone's setup is different and my experience should not be the absolute rule.

I've got an SM-P605v. Haven't seen, or been able to download the update you've mentioned. This may be because I don't use Verizon as my connectivity partner, or it may be that my particular tablet's OS doesn't need the security updates that yours did.

I also have a SM-P605V but have Verizon as my carrier. I got the notification to update today. I don't see anything on VZW site about it nor under the specific SKU on SamMobile (still has 10/15/15 as the last official update). When looking at the SM-P605 model, there are some in the list (even today's date), though they are for non-USA countries.
Even so, it looks like they are still all Android 5.1.1, so it's likely just some minor tweaks. To my understanding, you would need to pop in an activated Verizon SIM to get the update for your specific tablet, as Verizon is the one that issues it. You can also wait until it's posted on SamMobile and manually do it. https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-P605V/

You should be able to flash this now that Sammobile posted it... https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-P605V/
I got this a couple of days ago - managed to odin flash after I put the wrong file and got the boot loader triangle a day before.
Its extremely stable and the tablets working like a dream - the only issue is no root.
Edit: I noticed a great improvement in battery management and it will charge to 100% from 30% in 4 hours before I flashed the 5.1.1 rom it took nearly 8 hours with a new(second hand) USB Flex connector and nearly 20 hours with the old usb flex connector to go from 30% to 100%.
I really like this tablet - it reminds me so much of my SM-N910F note 4.

Probably just a security update
Please excuse my silly question but I have P600 with 5.1.1 and never rooted. Do I need to install twrp before I update or it doesn't matter? Updates always make me uneasy with locking bootloader or needing new root methods.
If you just want to update then flash with Odin and the appropriate file. Try looking at sammobile.com for the appropriate rom file.
If you want root then you will need to install a custom recovery using CF auto or Twerp - the latter will NOT work on the SM-605v version as the bootloader is locked and will result in the yellow triangle and stating that the tablet has a strange recovery and that you should see a verizon technician. By installing the recovery you can then update the system or even try out new roms created by the people of this wonderful community.
Rooting will potentially stop business application with built in security from working - i.e. HSBC application, Virgin Media app and Sky Movies apps will not work on rooted phones to name a few.
I updated and rooted and everything is working ok. I had trouble with 64gb Sandisk microsd with "sd card unexpectedly removed" error. Then it mount itself back. Sometime it shows empty and asks to format and sometime it works. Also the lockscreen flicker and that usually when the card error happened. I suspect they are related and it happens only when waking up the device. The card works fine with all my other devices including my note 4 on stock 5.1.1. I'm not sure what caused it because I just used this sd card with the note 10.1 and then updated and rooted all in the same day.
Anyway, I removed the Sandisk and now I'm using 32gb Samsung and it only happened once for maybe 12 hours (could have been 100 times with Sandisk). Also, I don't notice the lockscreen flickering anymore. I will see if this problem comes back or it just that Sandisk doesn't play well my note. I have seen many people here reported similar problem with other Samsung devices for too many reasons. I don't believe file format is the issue but I'm using exFAT.
The last update I received was the August 1st patch. Is the unlocked version just being overlooked, or am I not receiving new updates?

The last update to the u1 devices is AQH3. I have no idea why they havent updated.
Your options are do nothing, install a regular G950U rom and live with horrible carrier bloat and a package disabler, or root and run something debloated (done yourself or use a rom) and have 80% battery.
