[Odin] [Official] [Stock] EPJ2 TMobile.. N910TUVU2EPJ2 - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 General

Here is a zip file of the current stock tmobile rom. N910TUVU2EPJ2_N910TTMB2EPJ2
The zip contains 4 files:
1. AP
2. BL
3. CP
4. CSC
This way you can choose what you want to flash.
Here it is >>>>>> Stock EPJ2 4 Parts.
Make sure when using odin you put the files in the correct slots..
BL = BL (bootloader or kernel)
AP = AP ( main software with all stock apps)
CP = CP ( modems)
CSC = CSC ( customer service version, Sales code data, Pit File)
easy. Now remeber that if you flash the BL (bootloader) you might not be able to revert back to a previous version. Use at you own risk. I am not responsible if you mess your phone up or destory the world.

Thanks for posting the link. Had the same problem and after flashing modem, still "Starting Wifi" at the startup and no go.

I got sick of EPJ2 and all the reboots and lags so I flashed back to DOK2 no problem today...

I flashed back to DOK2 as well from EPJ2couldn't be happier.

Complete guide for unrooting Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 (flash counter as zero)

This thread is a complete guide for unrooting your Galaxy S3 I9300 with flash counter as zero. Many of us knows how to unroot but right after unrooting when we check the flash counter it shows "binary counter : Yes (1)" , this guide will help you to make your binary count as zero or none.
Things you need before unrooting your device:
1) Latest firmware package:
For this you can go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and choose your version of firmware and download it.
2) Odin v3.04
Click the link to download Odin for windows v3.04 https://www.box.com/files/0/f/0/1/f_7221688132
3) Triangle away app by chainfire
Use this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114 and dont forget to thank chainfire
4) Kernel with Triangle away support ( personally I prefer siyah kernel) you can get siyah kernel from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1709686 and dont forget to thank gokhanmoral
Now we can start doing unrooting, make sure that your kernel support Triangle away otherwise flash with siyah kernel then follow the steps as mentioned.1. Open Triangle away app and click reset flash counter.

}
2. Now you will be seeing the binary flash counter as zero.
3. open Odinv3.04 and select the firmware in PDA and connect your phone in download mode ( In download mode make sure that binary count is showing "NONE", if it's not somewhere something went wrong). This will take approx. 3 to 4 min.
4. After flashing the firmware, phone will reboot and it is no longer rooted, you can check your flash counter again going to download mode.
Now you can claim for warranty, no one will find your device as rooted one
If i help you in any ways don't forget to hit the thanks button. :good:

Odin Firmware Package Problems I9505G

So I created an Odin Firmware Package for the I9505G that included only the system.img.ext4, boot, and recovery images for 4.2.2 MFD. The problem is that I cannot create a modem package it fails everytime either when I package it with or without the system build. As far as I know this would be the NON-HLOS and modem.bin files.
Additionally I am having a hard time making a Full Restore Package for 4.3 MH1 which has everything and that fails too. Here is what I have to work with and I have used Cygwin and Powerarchiver both to try to package these but as I have said only system.img.ext4, boot, and recovery flash and pass. The bootloaders fail specifically right when aboot.mbn flashes it fails.
I've reviewed other packages for other S IV varients and tried packaging them similar but still fail.
I think the boot loader assertation has something to do with it
Can someone give me some good direction on what I need to do, am missing ect..ect..

Also the files werent named properly, I don't know if that matters or not. For anyone thats curious, heres how the files should be named. This is from a custom odin tar I made for MDK.

For successful flash in Odin, modem and non-hlos parts should be signed by samsung. Signature is at the end of file. But if you dump these parts from device, they will be padded by zeroes to the partition size.
So, after dumping, you need to cut padded zeroes from the "tail". Just start to look the first non-zero byte from the end of dump. And then cut after that byte.
And then you will have valid modem and non-hlos parts. You can TAR them and then flash through Odin.
I highly don't recommend to flash those sbl, aboot, rpm, tz parts. Although they are signed (and will require procedure i've described above), the risk of brick is very high if somehow you flash non-compatible to each other one of these parts.
So, dump them and keep in the safe place for some emergency case, but don't flash them neither separately nor as whole firmware package.
It's ok to flash these parts if you get them inside new OFFICIAL firmware from Samsung server, but avoid to flash them from any dumped firmware.

Plz someone advice which FW, modem or kernel to try, phone was bought from VIP Croatia, tried its firmware( I9505XXUGNH7_I9505VFGGNI1_I9505XXUGNH7_HOME.tar) with no luck
Current FW is from dif local provider.
WIFI still disabled
I did try:
*removing battery
*deleting wpa_supplicant.conf
*flashing few custom roms/Echoe, Goofle Editon 4.4
*wiped dalvik cache,data
*factory reset
WIFI button wouldn't turn on no matter what I did.
Thank you for reading it.
Hi,
Try flashing a different Modem and its respective NON-HLOS (WiFi-Fix). You can find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
Good luck,
~Lord
tried with modem and NON - HLOS WIFI FIX FOR XXUBMH1 and XXUGNG2
WIFI still disabled.
I've got the same problem, did you have any luck?

I lost sound with different modems and returned to XXUGNG8 MODEM and WIFI FIX.
It fixed the sound, but WIFI remains disabled!
I found the thread with the similar problem, related to 4.3 firmware and kernel issue.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250824
from the second post
HTML:
My bootloader is XXUBMGA
- My recovery is Clockworkmod
- I flashed XXUEMJ5 modem with odin 3.09 and it is working fine (only one flash, auto reboot enabled)
- You have to flash XXUEMJ5 modem in order to get data working
- If you flash XXUEMJ5 wifi fix you won't have sound anymore
- If you flash XXUBMGA wifi fix, sound is fine but you can't enable/use wifi
- I flashed XXUEMJ5 CWM with full wipe (wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system)
- Before rebooting, recovery will ask you to disable recovery flash. Hit no otherwise you will lost root and you have to use CF-AUTO root to re-root the rom
Other than wifi, the rom is fully working, it is very speedy, titanium backup is working fine and also wanam exposed!
[B]To get wifi fully working, dev needs 4.3 kernel sources[/B], so please wait!

Reflash "CORRECT" Stock ROM for your device and problem solved.
*COUNCIL:
1. Conect it to Kies 3 for know your CSC. (Pic attached)
2. Go to Sammobile.com and download the correct firmware for your CSC.
3. Flash it via ODIN.
4. Reflash it if you have more problems.

I9505 went into bootloop

Hello fellow xda'ers!
I need your help. A friend of mine gave me his Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 after out of nowhere it didn't boot up and got stuck during boot (after couple of seconds it vibrates and restarts, stuck on the white S4 screen).
I tried reflashing it with Odin3 v3.11.1 (with Windows Defender/Firewall turned off, run as admin, orig. Samsung USB cable, direct USB port, no hubs). I flashed I9505XXUHOA7_OXAHOA7 (firmware found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477), but the same problem persists. Then tried flashing I9505XXUHOJ2_I9505OXAHOJ2_I9505XXUHOJ2_HOME.tar.md5 from sammobile (it contains 5 files: AP, BL, CSC, CP and the .pit). Still same. At this point it gets messy. I wanted to flash the GPE .zip (put on SD card) through recovery so i installed latest TWRP 3.0.2. That was fine because i could enter the recovery. Before that i thought "hey, let's update bootloader and modem first", so i did flash I9505XXUHPF4 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/i9505xxuhpf4-flashable-tar-odin-t3436110 via Odin (AP button).
After that i cannot enter recovery anymore. Not TWRP 3.0.2 or 3.0.1 nor latest CWM. From this onward KNOX says 0x1 in Odin/Download mode (but i don't care actually).
Tried reflashing the stock firmwares i have, with and without "Nand Erase All" or "Re-partition" in Odin in any combination. Still nothing...though Odin says PASS (see attachment)

Isn't the bootloader flashed in BL and modem in CP? You flashed both in AP?

I think he flashed non-Kies (now Smart Switch) firmware, which has everything (bootloader, firmware, modem, CSC, kernel) inside one signed tarball.

Yes, this is true. But none method works. And there is still the problem with the non-accessible recovery (also flashed via AP).

Odin is failing all time, doesnt matter which FILE I TRY TO FLASH, ODIN FAILs all time.
I have tried these solutions so far :-
1. I have tried flashing COMBINATION FILE / FACTORY FIRMWARE but ODIN FAILED.
2. I have tried flashing STOCK FIRMWARE latest and old ones too but ODIN FAILED.
3. I have tried flashing FIRMWARES WITH pit files too, but ODIN FAILED.
4. I have tried 4 files with PIT FILE and without pit file but ODIN FAILED.
Thank for reading, I appreciate your valuable inputs.
For that partion error , you can go to wipe/advanced wipe/ repair or change file system and select the partitions that you want to repair , or you can simply change the file systems .
First repair the file system and then try to flash stock rom from download mode.
