[Q] Launching Google Now by voice

Hey guys,
If you guys have had a look at the new Moto X, then you have seen the new voice features, like how you can start up Google Now with your voice, from anywhere in the phone. Do you know a way to do that on a GS4?

Can't do it on the s4

This requires a sensor only the X has.

And therein lies the solution. Just write a tasker profile to launch Google now and kill s voice whenever s voice launches.

Without the moto x low power always on processors, it will eat up your battery though

Okay Google

So, my Moto X started responding to just "okay google" which is awesome because adding the "now" always bothered me. Has anybody else noticed this?

When it had me set it up and recorded me saying it, I just said "OK Google " and it has always responded to that.

I didn't know that...i just tried and works without say 'now'

i wish mine did that!
i tried retraining it and not saying "now" but it never accepted it.
i'm on vzw 4.4 stock rooted.

Mine is really hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. "Okay Google Now" works 95% of the time so I usually just go with that.

Disable moto voice in favor of Google now?

Anyone know how to do this so Google now responds when the screen is off? Or do we need to wait for a root?
I would rather cut out the middle man (moto voice) when using touchless voice controls. I have it working for except when the screen is off.

I'm new with motto x but what is the keyword to bring up the moto voice? I said okay Google but nothing happens not even Google pops up hmm

Open the moto app and you will go through the motion of setting it up

Moto voice does not speak to me

Hi. The question is clear - I have probably missed to check some settings, so Moto voice does not speak to me as it was doing on my Moto X Play. Any suggestions?

Did you offend Moto voice by any way?

Could it be some language-related problem? Like Google Now wont work if you dont have english set as systemlanguage etc..

I think but I'm not sure that the instructions say you have to raise the device to your ear and moto will discreetly talk. My moto has it's own personality and thinks for herself
