So, my Moto X started responding to just "okay google" which is awesome because adding the "now" always bothered me. Has anybody else noticed this?

When it had me set it up and recorded me saying it, I just said "OK Google " and it has always responded to that.

I didn't know that...i just tried and works without say 'now'

i wish mine did that!
i tried retraining it and not saying "now" but it never accepted it.
i'm on vzw 4.4 stock rooted.
Mine is really hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. "Okay Google Now" works 95% of the time so I usually just go with that.

Never happened to me, sorry.. Upgraded from a iphone also.
It might be a stupid question but does anyone know if this kind of settings sync with the google account?

Mine is doing the same
Anyone know how to do this so Google now responds when the screen is off? Or do we need to wait for a root?
I would rather cut out the middle man (moto voice) when using touchless voice controls. I have it working for except when the screen is off.

I'm new with motto x but what is the keyword to bring up the moto voice? I said okay Google but nothing happens not even Google pops up hmm

Using Google Calendar on the 6P, if I have a conference call number with a PIN listed next to it, it will not dial the PIN. Worked flawlessly on my old phone (Note 3 using Touchwiz). Others having this issue?

I'm having the same issue, but it actually is hitting the PIN, but it dials the numbers so fast the phone doesn't acknowledge it. I have found a workaround, but I'm really looking forward to Google fixing this. The workaround is: 123.123.1234,,1,2,3,4,5,#. This forces the phone to pause so that the number is properly captured.
Same happened in my Nexus 6 (I'm waiting a 6p for this week) and this app helped me: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abzdev.confcalldialerstd
Hope it helps

I have a Nexus 6P and have tried every conference app the store has, but none of them work because the Nexus dials the PIN too quickly. Hopefully there will be an update soon that will fix this issue. I'm starting to miss my iPhone just because of this feature. I use it quite often.
I'm trying to get OK Google voice activation set up but it keeps telling me unable to use microphone please restart device. Does anyone have it set up? Is something wrong with my mic?
Perhaps it's because of Moto Voice?

thats what it was, i forgot that when i got the phone i already set it up for ok moto saying.
I finally got a screenshot of this since it seems to happen randomly, but has anyone else experienced all of these volume options appear at once? Does anyone know how to make it stay? Lastly, what is the weird hand volume control at the bottom do if you have experienced this before?
Oh man. I want that! Maybe the hand is haptic feedback?

It very well could be, I can't get it to pop up again so I guess we will never know.

If it is showing up that means it is there somewhere. There must be some sort of a hidden way enabling it. Much like how to enable the basic system UI settings

I was using the YouTube app, the way I got it to trigger was to rotate the phone so the video was Fullscreen, then spam the volume keys. Sometimes it popped up, most times it doesn't.
