Title says it all basically,
Is anybody working on porting the Pixel System image that was leaked a few weeks ago to the 6p? Might be easier now that 7.1.1 is out for the 6p! Hopefully somebody is

I got a new Nexus 6P and one of the main things I miss from OnePlus 2 (which I earlier owned) is the camera app. So, after trying to find a good tutorial to explain how to port apps to other devices without rooting the device, I didn't find any form which I'd have understood a thing. So, the question is: Could someone port the Camera app from OxygenOS 2.2.0 (or 2.2.1) to other devices? (This does not mean porting the one from HydrogenOS)
Hi. so after almost a year and a half of using my 6p I'm kinda getting bored of this "stock" experience HA
Miui8 is ported however it is so out of date and it doesn't support xposed so it is not really ideal. after searching i found out that Flume 6 form Meizu have rolled out in beta this April and I was thinking if anyone here is having planes to port it for us. I am gonna follow this guide to try and port it however i have zero experience in this so I am not sure if it is gonna work out for me:

If you are determined to use Xposed then you need to stay on a Marshmallow based Rom, so whatever Rom you find that is compatible with Xposed is going to be dated. Xposed never worked with Nougat based Roms and Android is already testing Android O. Unless you like outdated versions of Android Xposed is pretty much dead.
Hey guys i was reading something about project treble and it seems we are compatible because we are running android 8.0, what do you think about it?!
I would like to be part of it, i love stock android and it is a great project
Just running Oreo doesn't qualify a device as Treble compatible. Nonetheless, @x86cpu has got the phone repartitioned and a GSI (generic system image) booted with issues. Specifically, it seems the camera will likely never work and he didn't want to pursue Treble for the time being. See this post and the ones before it for where the V20 stands for now.
Sad fact but i hope we get something at least on the next year, thanks bro!
Last night Google released the android Q gsi images. Then I found out devices started with 8.0 or 8.1 are legacy treble devices now and devices started with 9.0 are the "true" treble devices. Like seriously wtf is google doing? I'm not mad about that i can't flash the Q images, it's still in beta and even devices like the OnePlus 6T won't boot it either. I'm mad about what is this legacy treble thing? Trebles purpose was to reduce fragmentation in the android ecosystem and divide it even more.
Did anyone already test it?

I did not test it yet, but on google's site, it tells you a series of adb commands to tell if your device is supported and when I took my mi a2 through these, it showed that it would be compatible but maybe not fully working (ex: other phones have had issues with the camera or the wifi so it may not be surefire but according to the gsi page linked on the android q beta page, it should allow it to be installed).
But as I said above, I haven't tested this so it may fail horribly and so I don't think I can recommend it until some brave soul tries it first with decent success.
So what the Title tells...
MIUI for the Pixel 2 XL (And maybe other Pixels). I want to Port it and to deliver Monthly Updates! I tried various things to get MIUI running on My Pixel 2 XL but i had no luck till now. Is anyone willed to work with Me to get a working Kernel Image for MIUI? I'm not good in Kernel Things and i think there is stuff in our Kernels that prevent some Systems from booting fully up. MIUI does or did also need Kernel Patches to work and i'm the Guy for System Stuff so is there someone with the right Skills? I would really appreciate help to get everything working, so i can continue with a Installer and Monthly Updates... I'm of course talking about Pie MIUI running on a Pie Vendor. Thanks in advance to everyone who will help!
Thanks for your contribution.
There is an interesting saying in China that everything is based on MIUI(万物基于MIUI),which means the arrogance of Xiaomi.
