Night clock too dim - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Just got the edge s7 and the night clock is too dim. Any way to brighten it up a bit?

Automatic or based upon your screen brightness setting from my knowledge/experience with it. Try manually setting your screen brightness before it turns on.

Backlight too bright at night

At night the backlight too bright when set to Automatic - it won't go below 30% even when it is totally dark. It seems like this threshold can't be changed. As a workaround, does anyone know if there is a way to make a shortcut to the Backlight settings screen that can be used in Quicklinks, so at least it can be quickly set manually.
try lumos. it works on the hd2

[Q] Brightness does not come back to full

Since I got this phone, I see this happening.
If I touch the screen immediately as the phone becomes dark after 30 secs of no interaction, the brightness increases but not to the full level.
This happens when auto and preset brightness.
Returns to full brightness if I tinker the brightness setting - eg. If I turn auto brightness on then off.
Anyone knows what's going on?
Do you have any xposed modules installed?
Sounds like 2 or more modules/apps are having a punch up

Changing Brightness Curve

Hello everyone,
after having had most roms from here on my N4, something bugs me on pretty much all of them: When Auto Brightness is selected, the Phone is way to dim in sun light. When i move the Brightnes slider the display gets really bright, but as soon as i release it in max position, the brightness goes down to maybe 70% (might be lower).
So is there a way to "costumize" the auto brightness curve the phone uses so that it goes up to 100% brightness faster?:good:

AOD brightness is way to dim at night

Hi
The AOD seems to be bright in the morning but when it gets darker in evening it remains readable for only a few seconds and then dims down so badly that one cannot read anything on the AOD at night when there is pitch darkness.
I did set the brightness option in the AOD settings but that doesnt seem to help at all.
I'm not using Auto Brighness control also for the display.
Anyone else seeing this particularly at night?

Yes, in low light conditions the aod is to dim...in normal light conditions the aod is good!
Hope they fix it in an update!
Are you using any type of screen overlay?
Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
Yes i use Lux-Autobrightness, but deactivated the overlay-right. Otherwise some system animations wont work...like blur in the power off screen, also you cant install non playstore apps with some type of overlay active (android security-feature). But Lux is not the problem, aod is also to dim without lux! Aod simply sets the screen brightness to low in dark enviroments.

AOD Auto Brightness

Are there any ROMs that have Pixel-like auto-brightness for AOD?
AOD brightness adjusting dynamically to light levels (not just using the last screen brightness). For example: when I pull my phone out of my pocket on a bright sunny day, the AOD screen brightness will increase so that I can see it.
