Flashing Majisk v7 on Google Play Edition ROM causes bootloops stuck at boot animation.
Majisk v6 worked fine on AOSP 1.5 ROM though.
Any help appreciated.
The fix for the bootloop is to flash the original boot image again, but majisk does not work then.

Hi guys.
Trying not to panic right now. Flashed TWRP on my phone, 3.0, all good. Then proceed to flash ROOT, and it got stuck on the bootloader warning.
Tried flashing another version of ROOT on top, and it didn't solve the problem, but was able to reach boot animation.
After searching, i saw it's possible to unbrick device by reflashing stock rom. Can also solve the problem by flashing CM 13 lux instead?
Update: going to try it now. Whish me luck!!!
success with installing the CM13! working perfect. Now just choosing which gapps to install.
su 2.62-63 works with stock
It's all solved now, with GAPPS and Root from chainfire, finally working. Awesome!

I flashed the lastest RR rom:

, then opengapps and then magisk ... it freezes on boot.. I get the bootanimation and after a while the logo freezes...
tried 2 flashes (one with magisk flashing and one without) and tried another version.
Also tried https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...m-cyanogenmod-14-0-galaxy-s5-android-t3476433 LineageOS and same behaviour.
Never had such an issue before... is there a specific baseband or radio to flash?
I am actually having the same issue. upon updating it locks up completely while first boot animation plays. I had to revert to the march 29th rom and update magisk. I also have a lock screen blue screen lockup issue that I cant seem to get fixed. Very troubling.....
I flashed the latest version of TWRP and it is now working fine

I would like to ask if anybody has managed to successfully install and run Xposed for Nougat on our phone.
My phone gets stuck in boot after flashing. Also anything newer than Magisk v12 also gets stuck during boot.
Any thoughts on how to solve this?
I got it working. I installed stock Nougat ftf. 238, then i flashed Genesis Kernel 1.06 and flashed twrp via adb. After that i installed xposed in the usual way - insall App and Flash via twrp. But i only tried xposed without magisk, it is not sytsmeless. Its working perfect.

Hi Guys,
Magisk had an update so I installed in through the recommended way in the MM app. Now I am stuck in a boot loop
I tried flashing magisk unistaller to see if that could fix, and it did not
I also tried reflashing magisk and nothign has changed at all.

Boot to download mode and flash stock firmware
Hey,
I flashed twrp and then flashed Magisk and SuperSu in MIUI 10.2.4.0, 10.2.5.0 and 11.0.7.0... After flashing and rebooting my phone was not rooted, I tried many versions of Magisk and many times. But didn't work, anyone have any working files?? And does custom rom/kenrel helps rooting the device.

you need to patch the boot img. you can find patched boot img for older roms like that
