I am HK user, and having a sm-g935fd from my UK fd with SIM lock. My fd helped me to root it for resolving the sim lock issue. But now, I would like to un-root it but don’t know how, also ,would the SIM lock happen again after I unroot it? Please help

i recently purchased a samsung galaxy s4. I can confirm that it is unlocked for UK network however when i put my malaysian sim card in it asked for a sim network unlock code. Anyone here know how is this possible and is there any way that i can unlock this?
It is worth noting that on the box of the phone it says
European model.
this product is only compatible with SIM card issued from a mobile operator within Europe.

guys my brother sent me a samsung galaxy s5 from UK , he did insert his vodaphone sim into it but unfortunately didn't make any calls more than 5 mins to break the region lock. he bought it from the samsung shop .. fully paid £520 and its not suppose to be carrier locked because of that . now when i put a local sim here in asia .. its asking for a 'sim network unlock pin' can someone please tell me ... is my phone carrier locked or region locked ..?? your help is much appreciated or how to identify which lock prompts this 'sim network unlock ' message ??

Hello guys. This is my first Samsung device. It's network locked here in the Philippines and I flashed UK firmware to get Nougat update. Since thre is an official update available now in our country, I flashed the firmware downloaded from sammobile with CSC SMA (philippines Smart). The problem is, SIM 2 is not working for a different SIM card (ex. Globe). Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Before only SIM 1 is Network locked and SIM 2 is openline. Now they are both Network locked.

As far as I know, Dual SIM phone has issues when trying to unlock the phone. they are problematic and sometimes they refuse to work. I recommend you take it to Samsung assistance, maybe they can do something with your firmware and make the phone work again.

Depends on your carrier but generally, custom roms will NOT unlock the network unless they have an imei writer integrated with the software which is highly unlikely.
