Try the following:
Settings
My Device
Smart Screen
Then untick every option, that should do it.

This was what did it for the lady.. Thank you!
On Android 4.3 on the Galaxy S3, the "Smart Stay" icon is always shown when the feature is switched on, however that doesn't mean it's always actually on and working. The feature is dormant, and works only for a second when the screen is about to turn off, to check if you're still looking at it. This is indicated by the icon "blinking", or rather pulsating for a moment. On previous versions of Android, and on other phones, the same is indicated by the icon appearing and disappearing, however S3 with Android 4.3 notifies you of the Smart Stay activity in this different manner.
help me urgently plz.......i m new to xda ...this is my first post........actually the problem is that my galaxy s4 is waking up or i can say unlocking automatically ..When phone is locked, something wakes it up.When I am using the phone it blinks, showing the clock briefly and returns to what I was busy with (not even 1 second)
my galaxy s4 is rooted with stock rom.
This sounds like you have a feature enabled called air gesture quick glance.
Disable in device gestures air view.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
Hi,
I have this strange problem with my S4. It just started recently and I do not know how to shut it off.
Everytime I delete a contact or delete a calendar entry or complete a task the phone will ring/chime and vibrate. This is annoying and I cannot figure out where to turn this feature off.

You're in the wrong forum - this is for the Galaxy S4 Active (i9295 and i537). You need to go ask the appropriate Galaxy S4 forum instead, I'm sure they'll be able to assist with your problem.
Good luck!
Hi,
I've Noticed that Location(Network/GPS) Turn Off Automatically after a period of Time in Official Samsung Roms, i noticed this on Samsung Galaxy S5 & even in a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, look like this is related about Official Samsung Roms, i've tried to find a Settings maybe about sleep Policy but i didn't find anything,
How to Keep Location/GPS On until the User turn Off Explicitly by himself ?
Thanks
Anybody know about this issue ?
If I restart the phone (whether cache and Dalvik was deleted or not) is on. As soon as the screen goes off for the first time (30 sec) and I turn it back on, the controller is off.
If I turn on the knob now, it will stay on forever as I want it to. Does anyone have an explanation?

My Spam and Caller ID protection is also turning itself off.
Device S8+ G955FD ZTO, Rom DBT.
Same issue on S10. Must be a fault in one ui
Same exact thing on my S10+. What an annoying bug!
Same thing on my Note8, Definitely a stupid bug! I was going crazy trying to fix it...
Me too. Also, new phone app automatically goes full screen - can't get out of it until you hang up on the call. I noticed that, because you can't try to swipe up to report or block spam calls.
Any ideas?
Same on Galaxy S8
Hi guys,
I'm having the same issue now that I updated my Galaxy S8 to Android Pie / One UI,

Remove Android Pie
The bug has been fixed with the new update.
Nope not fixed yet on my Note 8 in Canada anyway (n950w). Samsung has been slacking this year.
Still having issues on my Note8 950U with the July patch. Anyone else still having the Caller ID and SPAM protection turning off after reboot?
