Hey, I have a fully stock S7e and a IPv6 (nativ) enabled home network, I do obtain IPv6 from radvd on all my network devices except for my S7, I cannnot see any settings for this in my phone.
Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this and get dual stack on my phone?
edit: when i export ifconfig | grep wlan0
I do have an inet6 from my 2a02::/16 however nither chrome or built in browser uses it for some reason

Hi
I have successfully flashed sprint galaxy s3 & HTC evo 4g to our CDMA network (I am outside USA) , Now i have flashed Sprint galaxy S4 & voice and mms working but 3g data connection unstable (i should reboot to get 3g again and drop after some mintutes) ,Since I am outside USA I figured out that the gateway ip prevent my device to continue using 3g data connection since it's related to sprint network ,
from ##data# > View> Others > Browser >Gateway ip : 28,68.31.1 Port:80 Secure Port:80
How I can change this gateway ip address ?
I have tried the following with adb
adb shell
su
route add default gw 192.168.0.1 dev rmnet_usb0
No such Proccess
& the gateway address did not changed
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I want to connect few phones to ethernet network via USB ASIX AX88772B adapter. Some devices can connect without any problems, some need to install xposed and Fake WiFi module. And some... can't! They all have OTG support and drivers for this network card. All phones get IP from DHCP, on all DNSs are set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, all have the same gateway. On all devices traceroute and nslookup works properly, but on some doesn't work ping and internet generally. It looks like Android can't see internet connection. Even with Fake WiFi. I also tried to set IP of rmnet0 to 0.0.0.0, but it didn't help. This is steps which I'm doing:
Install xposed, fake wifi and turn it on
Plug ethernet card
Dhcpcd eth0
setprop net.dns1 8.8.8.8 and for second dns 8.8.4.4
route add default gw xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx dev eth0
Testing with nslookup, traceroute, ping
Did you have the same problem? I noticed that all LG Phones have this problem, and HTC ONE Max (I didn't test on other HTCs). Could you help me?
Just noticed something strange, if VOLTE is turned on while connected to a WIFI AP then the S7 Edge presents the cellular IP to the WLAN instead of the IP allocated from the WIFI DHCP. This can be shown from the app Network Scanner, it shows the IP as (rment_data1) instead of (WLAN0) when VOLTE is turned off.
Normally I wouldn't notice this or be affected by it except I run Serviio DLNA server on my home network and if VOLTE is turned on then my Serviio server will not allow access to my S7 Edge since the IP presented is different to the one that I enabled access to.
Anyone have any ideas if this is a bug or if there is a workaround?
Hello,
Is it possibile to create Modem LTE using Note4.
I imagine that it is connecting to LTE and runnning WIFI connection to my Home network router by WIFI connection. It is common function factory Note4, but I like to add port forwarding on It. I have permanent public IP adress on my LTE connection, and want to port forward to my DMZ server.
I am thinking on some Linux distro on Note4 with full IPtables access, or do you have any idea how to make it?
I have 2 droids @ home where I have IPv6 working fine on all PCs, wired and wireless.
However, my droids won't ever utilise ipv6, at least when I try ipv6 testing sites. They fail every condition except for ipv6 DNS and funnily it says they don't even have ipv6 addresses... but...
When I go to status, I can see they have global and link-local ipv6 addresses allocated, and the ipv6 testing sites confirm that they can resolve ipv6 DNS - but critically they seem to not have any ipv6 addresses (despite being visible in settings --> status).
1st device is a Samsung Galaxy s9+ on 9.0
2nd device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 on 8.0
Both are stock
I can't find any ipv6 settings in the wireless settings.
I've isolated it by turning off mobile data to be 100% sure I'm going via my home wifi.
I'm aware Android doesn't support DHCPv6 so my router is using stateless autoconfig which like I said all my PCs work fine with ipv6.
It doesn't seem to affect functionality but its pretty annoying? Has anyone seen this before?
EDIT derp the issue is something buggy in my home GW it sometimes doesn't hand out a default GW
