Hello,
Ok, here is the situation
I have a Zuk Z1 with last COS update 12.1 with locked bootloader, no root etc ... (I didn't touch anything).
Yesterday, it reboot by itself but I got bootloop (starting apps then again lenovo boot image ...)
I try to factory reset by using the recovery metohd, it's start normally (optimizing apps ...) but then reboot and again bootloop ...
So I try to sideload the official COS ROM from Cyanogen Support (cm-12.1-YOG4PAS9IG-ham-signed-d4fc2c5394.zip), but the sideload stuck at 47% and saying total xfer: 1.00x and the phone go back to recovery but still have boot loop ...
I try to boot in fastboot and use the All In One tool to flash official ROM but didn't work (Its say that the bootloader is lock)
I find without knowing this menu a debugging hardware tool test, and then I run the test, its say SD : Fail and in another I got SD : Fail and no sd fuse in dir
I saw many thread here and on google, and some say that we have to use qfil/qpst method, and find this which seems complete : http://www.androidbrick.com/lenovo-zuk-phones-qfil-roms-unbrick-guide/
But as I don't know if its hardware issue or soft brick ...
Could someone help me to recover my phone to COS or CM by using the right method ?
Thank you !

Go with qpst/qfil method to recover your phone
And did you tried changing the USB port or cable while side loading cos ROM .. Cause most of issues are solved by the changing USB port or cable.. So try this.. Or else qfil is the option

Hello,
I got help on the telegram group, we try many thing, the result is that I can only get ZUI working, if flashing COS via QFIL, I get the same result, if I flash ZUI, unlock bootloader, flash TWRP, wipe everything, then sideload CM13, TWRP say that no os is installed and I get a bootloop at the bootloader ...
ZUI is good, but I get some error regarding notification.
If you have any other idea ?

i have already done that , it stuck on modem part , secure check radio fail and when i flash without modem , it successfully flashed but root issue , when i flash twrp , it doesnt boot into into twrp and stuck on logo?
I do not believe that you see a "modem" part when using smart switch? Otherwise use Samsung Kies for S7 edge. And do the Firmware Upgrade and Initialization menu item

yes i have enabled that and also usb debugging
What to do : Reflash the stock firmware , after that is completed , turn off the phone , and install on your pc : the No verify Opt encrypt 5.0 from here:
https://build.nethunter.com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.0.zip
And the SuperSu file from here :
https://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
Now go download the latest Odin, and connect your phone.
Flash the Twrp 3.1.0.0 ( be aware to choose the file for Hero2lte) and reboot to recovery.
DO NOT LET IT BOOT INTO THE SYSTEM.
IF IT DOES , IMEDIATLEY CLOSE THE PHONE AND BOOT INTO RECOVERY .
Once you are in recovery , firstly go to wipe and do a factory reset .
Then connect your s7E to the PC while you are in the TWRP , and copy the SuperSu file and the verity opt oncryption to the storage.
Note: if you have an SD card inserted , copy the files to the SD not the internal storage.
Now , pay attention , If you don't do the next steps in the right order , you may brick your beautiful 800$ phone.
So pay attention , you have to firstly run the No verity encrypt file.
After it's done, go back >reboot>reboot in recovery.
Now search the file and run it (the SuperSu file)
It will take a bit longer to flash the SuperSu.
After it's done , reboot
Note: your phone should reboot 2 times , If it doesn't or it reboots more than 3 times, CLOSE your phone , and repeat the whole process.
IF your phone reboots 2 times , your are good to go .
The first BOOT May take some time (usually around 6 minutes) and it may loop a couple times, DO NOT INTERRUPT THE PROCES !
IF your phone boots up successfully, configure it and run a root checker , it should say : congratulations your device is rooted.
IF IT doesn't, well you have had to mess something up during the process.
Hope that helped , let me know if it did

I had the same issue to fix.
open smart switch and use the emergency initialization and recovery feature.
it will ask for your model and serial number which is on a sticker on the back of your phone.

I have tried that , that also stucks in the modem part and give radio fail secure check error , i cant even flash it , i was thinking i will root it and install a custom rom but it cant boot to twrp , and if i just flash the AP part then the device boots successfully and the imei and baseband everything ok . Just the hidden codes not work , its really a weird issue , im really confused about it
suhaibahmad. When you refer to "whenever I only flash AP"you are referring to using ODIN, NOT SMARTSWITCH. There is a difference.

on smartswitch it stucks in the modem part and flash radio fail error on the screen . and now come to odin , if i just flash AP in odin then the phone boots successfully but not good performance and cant even root it
Plz anybody help , my phone is just a piece of .....
i cant root my s7edge , the latest nougat february patch installed ? am i the only one ? i untick the auto reboot in odin and manually boot into twrp after flashing it but its stucked thereand not booting into it , it is the latest twrp hero2lte 3.1.0.
i cant even flash rom on odin or through smart switch , it fails in the modem part . when i flash without the modem then flash successfully but after flash reboot and for a minute NO COMMAND screen appears , after a minute goes into recovery and saying DM VERIFICATION FAILURE .after this when i flash the csc again , the no command prompt disappear telling NO SINGLE SKU SUPPORT and dm-verity error...., then when i reboot it , the phone boots normally but keeps on crashing the applications and force closed and sometimes reboot.
The imei is normal and signals of sim works fine. On PHONE INFO application it shows that the csc is missing . The hidden codes are not working like *#0*# , *#06# etc etc .
plz someone tell me whats the issue is ? is it a hardware or software ? will jtag resolve the issue ? i dont even know about wat is jtag , i have just heard about it . Long time passed the device price decreased in the market about 200 dollars and no solution , kept in the cupboard. I hope i can get info atleast ,i have many posts here but nobody responses . maybe i am the only one who is facing this issue .
I've had that kind of problems with other samsung phone. I had to use adb and fastboot to get recovery working.
so you still have stock recovery? have you tried factory reset?

yes i am on stock recovery , also tried factory reset .
tell me how did u do with fastboot ? i think fastboot works on rooted phone right ?
I'm not 100% sure, it was in bootloader mode and I don't know if s7 has the same procedure. you should start with enabli g usb debugging and unlocking bootloader.
are you sure you have exynos version?

I'm having a problem downgrading from Stock Samsung Marshmallow Rom
After unlocking OEM "disabling frp mode" from developer options and enabling USB debugging here's what i tried:
.I tried downgrading directly by flashing lollipop stokc rom via odin but having an error "aboot.mbn fused 2 > binary 1" "AUTH FAILED"
.I tried to use Zoink's BT and Modem files to downgrade easily but same error (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/how-to/6-0-1-5-1-1-bootloader-modem-j500xx-t3566801)
.I tried to flash two custom roms via TWRP (Resurrection Remix 7.1 and MIUI Rom Port 5.1) RROS didn't even flash it showed me that the rom is not for my device model) (MIUI was flashed successfully but when i tried to boot the phone was stuck on the first boot logo (SAMSUNG GALAXY J5 LOGO NOT THE SECOND ONE WHICH HAS ANIMATIONS) i waited for a while but then i noticed that the screen is getting glitchy and the phone screen is getting green more and more.
.I tried to use the combination rom method but same error "aboot.mbn fused 2 > binary 1" "AUTH FAILED"
I CAN'T EVEN FLASH A 5.1 STOCK ROM BECAUSE OF THE ABOOT THING
.Hope this information will be enough to get me a working solution
Thanks in advance.
me too can`t downgrade
i Hope Find working solution

First unlock the oem unlocking and download the stock rom and make sure it is for yoir model number. And flash it through odin. You have a problem of mismatch os.
It's because Samsung locked the bootloader for SM-J500H, so if you're on lollipop and upgraded to marshmallow, you cannot downgrade again.
Same probleme any sulitions please

1.Flash this firmware by Odin
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-pt1IG7T4hmVzhuMnRyeTBjTGM/view?usp=drivesdk
(Before flashing, wipe all storages(all except internal, external in advanced wipe).
If your recovery is not twrp , you must do both wipes in stock recovery.
2. After this flash csc and cp (modem, phone) from multi-regional 4-file firmware, or firmware for your country.(5.1.1)
Thas all.

After this step can i install miui multipro in j500h ????????
Hi
Maybe you are not flashing the right version.Different model Number, region, build etc...
Hello , I have my J500h stuck on Galaxy Logo when turning on , so I tried to unbrick it by flashing multiple stock firmwares using Odin , the operation faild (I think because I cant enable usb debugging ? or because the phone isnt rooted) so because of frustration I flashed a Bootloader which processed successfully ,and when it showed "pass" on odin UI the phone turned off , and its not responding , dead . not turning on , no access to download mode ore recovery mode , not even charging. please help
U can't download the correct firmware of your phone......check the firmware by your baseband version and then flash via odin.....then it will be successfully installed.....no failed.......
