Had the same problem, it helps if you keep chrome open. Still annoying though ?
You can flash the vendor.img with this command in fastboot mode :
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img

How do i change font on stock NBD90W?
I couldn't find place to change font, just saw font size and display size options.

Lollipop checks to see if ANY system files are modified. If yes, it fails. Before, you could just put stock recovery back on and pretty much call it a day. I will just flash the factory image, boot up and take the OTA - then immediately go back into fastboot and put recovery, root and an unencrypted kernel right back on. Lollipop's app restore functionality I kind of like, so I can be back up and running pretty quick.
Or you could try to restore only data through recovery, but that's risky when jumping versions. I won't do it.
P.S. I think any proper Nexus owner should always have the latest stock image downloaded to their computer. If you ever need to save your ass it's just a click away. Plus, come downgrade time you're ready to go when you get off work ?
P.P.S. use Google Remote Desktop and leave your home computer on the developer page. That's what I did on the N5 when our images got released. That puppy was downloaded and ready to go the second I walked in the door.

If you have a custom recovery you'll have to do a system wipe before you can flash the OTA.

Looks like factory images are starting to go up:
"Update: *And just like that, Android 5.0.1 factory images have gone live for a handful of devices, including the Nexus 9, Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi, and Nexus 10. Basically, we are looking at the WiFi devices. *You can grab individual image fileshere."

Agreed.
I can't get ADB to work after unlocking, but fastboot works like a champ and that's all I really use. I use ADB to reboot into BL ? I haven't cared or missed it enough to troubleshoot and fix.
Just refreshed the Dev page and it seems everything recent has been updated, minus the N5/6.

What's up everyone. I swapped my iPhone for an S5 that has MOAR ROM installed. The guy reflashed the phone clean when we swapped and when it booted back up I have no phone icon. I can get calls if someone calls me, but I have no icon to make a call and the lock screen icon doesn't work.
Is there any way to just flash an apk file vs. having to reflash and set everything up again?
Thanks in advance.

And just so I know for the future, if i want to reflash the rom clean. I just want to make sure I have the steps down correctly:
flash n12 kernel
boot into recovery via safestrap
flash rom
boot into download mode
flash oa8 kernel
Is that correct?
no

Do a full wipe before you install the ROM (everything but SD card). I did not go back into download mode and flash the OA8 kernel. I just let it boot right up and it worked great.
Ok so I flash the n12 kernel to get into safestrap, do a full wipe, flash the rom, flash the oa8 kernel then reboot. Where in Odin do I put the kernel?

To have your changes persist you need to disable system write protection:
Code:
adb shell reboot disemmcwp
As discovered here:
http://androidforums.com/threads/zte-write-protection-for-zmax-and-other-zte-phones.1040331/
originally for other ZTE phones but works with the Axon 7 too.

I'm using "Emoji Switcher" from the play store (Root required). I don't have the actual .ttf file. There is a "write protection" on the system, once I rebooted, they came back (to stock)..... After I removed the write protection, I was able to successfully change my emoji's using the app. :good:

This is a recently released OTA for Beta users by Lenovo anyone can install this if you are using the stock recovery. For TWRP some mods. should be done to the package.
Link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4gp1Lef7g4aT3B2N0otQjJZSUU/view
Install method : Just download and rename it to update.zip that's all, keep it in the root directory of the phone and boot into recovery to insatll the update.
P.S. This is not my work, this is directly from Lenovo. So, don't point your fingers at me if you do something wrong Anything you do is on your own and you should face the consequences
