you need to relock the bootloader and install stock firmware on your phone then you can update OTA
No need to S-off if you can find the correct firmware for your phone

Hello,
First things first: thanks for this great tool! I needed to restore the original firmware and didn't know how to do that. With this tool it's quite simple.
I had only two small problems:
- the first time I've run tour .bat file I seen several commands being executed, all of the m with an OK in the end, but after all process the phone didn't boot, no recovery also. I ran the .bat file a second time and it's OK now.
- another strange thing happened: the boot logo screen reverted to the "unlocked bootloader" screen.
A question: can I flash only the bootlogo screen via adb?

yes u can but with stock recovery
just flash the stock recovery to get the available update also
In One Click method u can get the official available update after completing the whole procedure

Here's the flashable image for andriod 6.0 on XT 1097/1092 devices, without the need to flash radio files to make it work with Indian networks (should work on other XT1092 devices) . Thanks to "Uchoaz10" who posted the image in thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/development/rom-installation-rsd-t3263800 , rather than using RSD flash the image , you can use my custom made Batch file to flash the rom.
Unzip the image and flash fresh zip into one folder and follow below steps.
Instructions
1) Power off device
2) Boot to boot loader ( press power and Volume down for few seconds and let go)
3) connect to computer via USB
4) Run Flash fresh .bat file
5 ) Reboot device
Note : If your stuck in boot loop , reboot to bootloader and select recovery (press volume up) , do an factory reset and reboot.

The 6.0 OTA that got released was for brazil , to flash the OTA you had to convert your phone to XT 1097 first and then flash the OTA . When flashed the OTA , mobile network would not work till correct radios are flashed . With the above method you do not need to convert to XT 1097 or flash radios (atleast for carriers in India)
should I do anything extra if I have a XT1092 ? Just run the bat file?

Exactly.
Does it need a stock recovery to work, or can I flash it with TWRP installed ?
It needs nothing but unlocked bootloader. You can flash via stock recovery. I just did it, and it works just fine. However, I had to do factory reset after installing it as too many apps were crashing. Dirty flash is no replacement for OTA update.
Well, I have just the opposite : I have TWRP installed, and I wanted to know if that was a problem.
You can just flash via fastboot. No recovery needed.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
So, I took the jump and flashed the rom using your file. It seems to have worked just fine, even if right now, it's hanging on the app optimizing part.
Thanks anyway !
Here is what I did to downgrade from 6.0 to 5.0:
1- Download and Install all the required drivers
https://mega.nz/#!tENxTCYI!U_2KD352HgqqsK2qkY7g4xsUIVMhHwOol9aiiDMIs28
2- Download the asus flash tool 1.14
https://mega.nz/#!JF91lazI!lQSdQcN5YXIFsaCWtTVHfsvGK1u82NKvy8-X9XIfR0g
3- Download the Latest WW_ZE551ML_2.20.40.194_20160713.raw firmware [Mega Mirror]
https://mega.nz/#!MRtTCCzZ!c2qoqIX8drgNRy2KxPV_iiBVKHoW2ppFdwRUsLjIWq4
4- Use the ASUS flash tool to flash the raw image
-Double click the ASUS flash tool Icon to launch it
-reboot your phone on bootloader mode and connect it to your PC
-Choose your device from the list which is in ASUS flash tool
-Locate the raw image
-Click on the serial number which appears on the screen within ASUS flash tool
-Select wipe data
-Click the start button to start flashing
-Wait until you see the message successfully flashed
Note that the whole flashing process takes about 6 minutes.
Enjoy!

Hi, I do not speak English very well, but I'll try.
First go to the website of Asus, and download the firmware .. 184 or this link (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/Ze...user.zip?_ga=1.147549438.850793534.1463019251) and put the external SD Card!!!
NOTE: If your bootloader is similar to the image (with the blue letters ..), you just need to step 3 of this my turorial
ht*tp://www*androidheadlines*com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/asus-zenfone-2-google-howto-1.jpg (remove "*" again^^)
1. Go to this page (https://www.techmesto.com/root-zenfone-2/) and follow the steps of the second method..
1.1 Download Z00A_WW_2.20.40.184 version (https://mega.co.nz/#F!k4MHiAgL!dVuOKeH3eokcwPSNI79ffw)
1.2 Download and extract FlashTools (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3301263&d=1431011927)
1.3 Extract Z00A_WW_2.20.40.184_system_w_root.zip (for step 1.1) and put the "system.img" in the folder of FlashTools together with "boot.img", "droidboot.img" and "recovery.img"
2. Now follow the steps of the second method (https://www.techmesto.com/root-zenfone-2/), from step 7 to 11;
3. Also I was stuck in the bootloader after this procedure... BUT, you need to download this file (the first method): http://www.mediafire.com/download/v6m7n9j0gqins9b/CWM_Zenfone_2_Intel.zip;
3.1 And follow the steps from 1 to 9 (the first method): https://www.techmesto.com/root-zenfone-2/... EXCEPT: The steps include the root (you do not need the root ..)
3.2 When you are already in CWM recovery, only install the firmware 184 (of start.. of Asus) which is in the external SD Card ... and end ^^.
3.3 I recommend wipe data / factory after starting the device first time...
I have helped

I had been running the MM beta up until this point. I just flashed the .184 RAW file. What made me go back you ask? I figured out that Google Opinion Rewards was not working. I can't live without that.
I can confirm that this method works for ZE550ML on mm beta .69 firmware. I downloaded AFT and flash RAW (Lollipop .149 firmware). Successfully downgraded bootloader unlocked and flashed CM13.
P.S. My status before downgrade was unrooted and bootloader locked and was on .69 mm beta build.

Here's the link for unlocking bootloader on lollipop

Also there's a method by shakalaca to unlock bootloader in mm beta. I haven't tried it personally because many report that their phones got bricked and most of them could be recovered by xFSTK method.

Hi guys.
So my P8 Lite (ALE-L21) won't connect to wifi.
I changed like 30 versions of android via fast boot, even bricked it once, but nothing fixed the thing.
I'm looking forward to install 6.0 on a hard flash
The thing is, how would I do that? Because updates come in an .app file, which if you extract you get the boot, system, recovery all that but I have no ideea how to make a .zip file out of it, considering I think it needs some sort of a file that tells the recovery thing how to install the system.
Can someone help, please?
PS. I am also into the balong bull**** (can't post images yet)

some say if you don't risk you don't win. it may work if you come from 5.1 ,not sure about it but you can try. since it needs to wipe system, dalvik, cache, internal storage it may work. but keep in mind ' MAY ' . if you dont wanna risk , google might be your answer. download a stock 5.1 rom with update.app and search for a tool to unzip the update.app file ( it contains system.img , recovery.img and all the things you need). after you unzip it you have to flash them with adb. to get rid of balong you will need the vendor file, dont know where it is exactly but it should be somewhere here in the forum(take a look at the guides here). once you are done with balong you can try to update it to 6.0 . goodluck
note: update.app extractor

To be honest I'm a noob ,but messing around with my phone I rooted my phone accidentally with kingroot n kingoroot and later unrooted clearing su and also busybox .recently that is on 1 October HTC released an OTA of Android 6.0.1 for Indian customers but when I downloaded and started installing it, it fluently went till 25% but then it completely stopped and rolled back to normal state , I guess this is because I rooted and hence few system files might have been modified
My questions
1) can I remove the modified files so that I can install the OTA
2) how to install stock recovery version (5.0.2)from htcden because the kernel file is not in zip format ,and please mention step by step procedure to do so if there is any
3)if Incase I re install the stock recovery will I be able to receive OTA again ?
NOTE :BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED AND S_ON .SO I DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL STOCK IMAGE
Build Fingerprint of now htc asia wwe :5.0.2
Kernel version : 3.10.61
Build number 1.90.707.3.

extract the downloaded ota update on you pc and use winrar to unzip it..you will find a file named "recovery-verified" . That is your stock recovery.
