I have been using Huawei ascend G7 for about 2 years now and recently upgraded it to marshmallow about a month ago.
Recently it has started toto displaycharging symbol along side battery display, even whileif it's not charging. I did a factory reset and even installed the rom again but that didn't work. When I connect my charger it doesn't charge, but when I connect my charger and reboot my phone it starts charging up til I disconnect charger. When I reconnect then again I have toa reboot to start charging.
The charging pin is not touching the sides of the phone.
Please advise.

hi, sorry for my bad enghlish, i'm italian,i0m here because i'm really desperate. This night i was at my p10 lite in youtube watching videos, but when i look at the battery i see 1% and it's strange because when it's 2% it turn off automatically and the more strange thing is that was in charge! then after a few second it was 0% and turned off, but now it won't charge. i tried with other charger but nothing. Please help me i don't know what to do anymore!

Try to connect it to pc usb 2.0 low voltage. It happened me with other phone due to fast charging!

i have an oppo f1s 3gb ram 32gb and i am having some trouble charging it first it was charging nomrally
but this last mounth it s not charging over 20% even if i let it plugged with charger all night
i tried changing the charger but the problem remains i also tried changing the charging cercuit and it did nothing

Hello everyone. I have a problem with huawei p9 lite 2017
When i replacement LCD with frame I damaged the battery.
After buying 3x new battery still this problem
First battery:
when smartphone is power off and when plug usb cable on the screen show grey battery icon and phone dont charge
Second battery:
When smartphone is power off and when plug usb cable. Battery status showing 0 % and showing charging but physically
dont charge
Third battery:
FOR 5 MINUTES was OK. Smartphone was a charging. Suddenly phone was a restart and back to problem with second battery
So my sister just bought this phone recently (The 3/32 Model) and she Immedietly got an update and so she updates the phone, she then plays it for a while and then charges the phone, but weirdly enough it's always saying "charging slowly" in the lockscreen, doesn't the stock charger suppose to charge the phone rapidly? I really don't get this. The phone was charging really slow and the weirder thing is I used my Lenovo P2's charger which has the same configurations as the stock charger (I think) and it did charge faster than the stock one. I've done things such as closing the recent apps, putting it on airplane mode, turning it off, but it still charges slowly
Is it the stock charger that doesn't charge the phone rapidly?
Or is it because the update?
I really don't understand

It is the update problem, I am also facing the slow charging issue.
Lenovo p2 is 24 watt charger , Zenfone is 10 watt charger .... It take 3 hours for my phone to charge with stock charger
SOLVED
I tried to close the recent apps and turn on the airplane mode and it's now charging rapidly after about a minute, thank god.
I think I had this problem before because of where I plug in my charger to a wrong socket.
Im still having the charging slowly problem.
Change the charging/data cable. I had the same problem.. I tried optimizing apps, aeroplane mode and switched off phone while charging phone but nothing worked. It took around 6 hrs to fully charge my asus Max pro m1. And then one of my friend suggested me to change the charging cable. I bought a new cable n it solved my phone's charging problem. Now my phone charges rapidly even when I'm playing game while using LTE mode. so guys try different charging cable with the original charger.
And if u want better battery backup.. do not charge your phone 100%. If you fully charge your phone.. battery will drain faster.
