Getting a screen saying PwrReason: PWR_KEY_PRESS
Unlocked, was running Cyanogen7, wanted to go back to PiCrust. Was wiping battery stats, it took me out of the menu. I accidently went into some other menu and it formatted the phone... Partitioning or something?
Would like to get back to a working phone... I can get into RSD protocol, Fastboot. Recovery spits out an error.
Getting myself the fastboot/RSDLite/drivers again...
Any other guidance would be greatly appreciated...
1) Download CWM, either ROM Manager one (http://download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-olympus.img) or the romracer one on XDA, either will work
2) Download a ROM
3) boot in fastboot, fastboot flash recovery [the recovery you downloaded]
4) boot in recovery, wipe data and flash a ROM
w00t. almost my plan. I don't have an external card. So already got romracer flashed, but, i think, i'll have to fastboot the 4.5.91 stock rom....so it can format and setup my internal SD card. Then go to picrust. Shame I lost my Pi and Cy7 backups....
edit:
Whew. I thought i had lost everything on the internal sdcard. Once i got romracers cWM back on. and after it failed to flash 4.5.91, i looked around in CWM and was able to see my internal SDCard. Restored my Cy7 for now. My touchscreen was off, but I had backed up my PDS partition a long time ago, flashed that and it was working again.
Now the only "problem" is, on boot, I dont get the Motorola Logo. I instead get a command line style interface. It autoboots to OS in 5s, unless I pick something from the list (RSD,Fastboot, etcetc) Not a HUGE deal, but I hate seeing POSTs on my PCs, so I'd like to get that logo back..or if possible a custom logo?? Any ideas on that?
I have exactly the same problem, could you repair it?? I need to take my phone to de RMA and I have this, I dont know what to do. If you ydgmms or somebody else could give me some help it would be great.
Edit:I could just have installed a recovery but still getting the black screen with the letters.
I leave a screenshot.

P. S. I've "fried" my phone a couple of times since I got it, this one though I thought it was done. Took me 7 hours to figure out / repair. Good luck, it's fairly straight forward with the instructions in the thread.
And i also have this problem....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212851
Ok i accidentally partitioned the internal memory
It looks like i need to restore the PSD (what is...??)...but of course i've not backed it up....!!!

Now i go to sleep....after 2 hours with deep troubles...!
Do you read what it says on posts before yours or do you just type your question & come back hoping for answers..?

Hello,
tonite I spended my time trying to install a custom ROM on my new TF300T.
I unlocked the bootloader.
Rooted
Install Teamwin.
I did a total backup of my tablet, using Teamwin.
Then I tried to install Euroshank rom, that I have on my Galaxy Nexus phone.
Then everything went wrong, I felt in a loop...
I tried, lotsa thing, and finally, like an idiot I format my ROM.
Now when I open in normal way, I get nothing.
And when I boot in recovery I get a Teamwin that works very slow.
I knew it was possible that it would arrive one day...
BRICKED....
Am I bricked?
My wife told me it would happen...
Is there a way to fastboot a firmware...
Fastboot does not see my tablet...
Alain
:silly::silly::silly:
Why will you try install a room not design for tf300t?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
I used to be active in the Samsung Vibrant section and people will just flash anything, ANYTHING!!! wont read the first post to find out
what they are about to flash, EVEN if the first post said "100% brick guaranteed" people will flash it and complain they got bricked.
SIGH......
OP you are lucky the device will still turn on, sounds like you are soft bricked and my be able to recover it,
I don't know what Teamwin or euroshank is so I cant help with recovery, but if the device will turn on there is
hope to recover it.

I believe you are not bricked
you just messed up a little bit
to flash with fastboot check out this post it is a guide to flash the the stock rom for a tf300g but it works fine for the tf300t
I have used this method a couple of times
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757077
just make sure you use the correct firmware for your device <--- this is very important
read through the sticky posts in the developement section, there you can find where to get the correct firmware for your device
also never flash a rom that was not made for your device, your asking for trouble
hope this helps
good luck
If you were to wipe everything in team win then restore your back up.......what happens?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
It it important to not flash the wrong firmware because the kernel for each make and model of device
is a bit different and has all the drivers for the hardware for that device and may not have the drivers for
another device built in, so if you flash the wrong kernel you can lose the use of some or all of your hardware.
especially the proprietary stuff.
The saga continue
I had an idea,
what if I try to put a rom on a memory card an put it in the memory slot.
IT WORKED!...
I went back to Teamwin an tried to install using external SD-Card, I choose cm-9-20120802-NIGHTLY-tf300t, and it seemed to install.
When I boot, I see the Cyanogen opening screen, then I get the following screen:
Encryption unsuccessfull
Encryption was interupted and can't complete. As a result, the data on your table is no longer accessible....
And there'a reset tablet button.
But when I select the Reset tablet button, the tablet reboots ans come back to the same screen.
Then I used Teamwin to fix permissions. The software told me that it would takes few minutes, when if fact took less then 10 seconds..
After I thinked of doing a factory reset Teamwin, but change nothing still have the same boot message...
I believe that on my way to solve this problem...
I'm crazy to fix it, as I have my wife's looking over my shoulder....
Thanks for helping all...
I feel less studip now...
And no, I didn't tried to install a rom for another system...
Alain
try the same with the stockrom, maybe this works.
If not try to get adb running.
Dl this tool:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/7XYW-4c4/WSG_UnBricker_TF300T_V102.html
Extract it.
Put your pad into recovery
Than connect it to your pc
run the WSGFlasher from the folder of the file you just dl.
choose option 5 for adbshell
tipe in this command:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 bs=100 count=1
if this runs type this 2nd command:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=16 count=1
Reboot your pad and see if everything runs fine
if not, just go back to recovery
open the WSGflasher again
choose option 2
than use option 1
for fully unbrick
let it run and see if this worked
if this doesnt work try get it in fastboot
dl this file:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/npKPgYok/WSG_UnBricker_Skript_no_Fw.html
extract it to C.\trecovery\
DL the latest Asus firmware and extract it 2 times.
Put the blob file into the trecovery folder
Press Vol- and Power at the same time to start the tablet
At the time the text appears on screen let both Buttons loose
Wait till the 3 icon appear
choose the usb icon with Vol-
Than press Vol+
connect your Pad to PC
run cmd
type
cd c:\trecovery\ and hit enter
then type:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
see if it runs
sometimes you will need many tries to get it succesfully running, just try again
Need 20 times one time my pad was softbricked.
try to flash Clockwork recovery (the correct one for tf300t) with teamwin.
then format all partitions except your sdcard
then flash cm9
should work if you got this far
then if it works, slap your wife on the but and say, see, i didnt brick it.
then get layed
Thanks, but as for now no cigar...
Hi,
thanks for your help...
Everything that you told me I was able to do...
But still there's that message about encryption...
And when I try a factory reset in Teamwin I get the answer that it's impossible mount /sdcard or /data
There's no way of doing a clean install on the tablet, as it's possible on computers?
I believe I better wait for answer before I do dammage of other type to my tablet...
I hope I have others answers...
Thanks again
Alain
I cannot help unless you replace teamwin recovery with clockwork.
I have zero experience with teamwin

Thanks to all...
Hi again,
As say my wife I'm really hard head...
But this time again I won...
Finally, with the hints of the members here I manage to get back my TF300T to work...
I short here's what I've done( there was lotsa more steps... but I'll keep it short.. ):
1-
I had a mount problem, and I don't remember where I saw this. But it seem that only the original firmware can be mounted and set as base system.
All others roms install over the base system (sorry if it's wrong).
2-
I installed back a fresh version of Teamwin (that for me is the best).
Downloaded the firmware from Asus, for my version. To know wich one I needed to look at the first line that appear on boot time (5 or 6 seconds) while the tablet waits for the recovery program to load.
3-
I copied an unzipped version of the firmware (thats the trick, the zipped firmware came in zipped). Where did I copied it, TO A MEMORY CARD... Thank Lord for a memory slot in this tablet.
4-
Then I installed the firmware, as I would install every other rom. But from the memory card.
5-
Et voilà...
I can see the eyes of my wife that will say... " Not this time baby, but for sure it will happen..." And I'll answer with a smile... And I'll say... Not this time baby, I know that it'll come...:victory::victory::victory::victory::victory:
Again thanks to all, especially to those that told me that it was hard or impossible...
Alain
well finally all is good

She has the right priorities, I would say! A good experience, you won't easily forget that you've messed up because of flashing the wrong ROM
Hey guys!
I'm coming to you at the end of a loooong way after trying to upgrade to KitKat.
I started the upgrade to 4.4, on the go, and quite confident. What a mistake ...
The upgrade failed, and my device got bricked. Fortunately, I had the recovery partition. Unfortunately, I destroyed the recovery partition by mistake...
I finally succeed to fix the things, but I have no idea how exactly I did it (I just tried the things as they were coming, messing around with partitions and switching from tutorial to tutorial),
Anyway, I made it.
This was 2 months ago ... then time passed, and today I got a message "no space left on device". Hm, weird. I check and oh damn, my SD card only had 5GB on it ...!!
It looks like I've loaded the *GB version partition scheme at some point ... or just wrongly formatted the partitions ... or I don't know.
I've tried to check using fdisk, but it doesn't help me much.
I also tried some tools like "Partition table" but I still can't find the missing 10GB. it seems like they're just unpartitioned, but not even recognised as it ...
Did anyone ever had this issue? Any process to fix it? Or at least any way to rollback to the original partition scheme.
Many thanks!
Best,
Stop messing with all this crap.
Get the factory images.
Put the phone into fastboot mode and connect to the computer
Your computer needs to have a working fastboot set up. If not fix it.
Run the flash all script include in the factory images. It's the. Bat on Windows and. Sh on osx / Linux.
It fully wipes the phone. Everything gets wiped and flashes the stock images.
If you have anything on the internal storage you want to keep you can remove the - w line from that script and it won't wipe it.
When done you a stock phone with a unlocked bootloader. From there do what you want.. Either run stock. Flash a custom recovery and root or rom etc.
Or just use stock recovery and factory reset. It fix the storage size problem for me. You'll lose everything on your internal though, so make a backup of your pic/music/anything you think important in your phone.
**** it seems like the post subscription didn't work, I've just seen your replies.
Thanks guys, it seems like the right way to do it.
I'll try to do it tonight and let you know the progress.
Cheers!
Hi, guys.
Today, my OP5 decided to troll me. I was using normally him, when suddenly it started to lags pretty bad. I restarted and he continued to lags and freeze. I made a wipe cache via stock recovery (i didnt made any change at all in it, no unlocked bootloader, no root). That's when my nightmare begins. It begins to bootloop. Sometimes i was able to start the boot animation, but then it just restarts to the beginning. I tried a lot of tips, wiping cache, system, etc. Then, i left it charging. When i tried to turn on again, it worked like nothing ever happened to him. I made a backup of my personal data fast, scared to him suddenly restart again. After that, i decided to made a Factory Reset, clean up everything. When i did it, he started the lag and freezes again. I was at lost. That's was when i decided to use the official unbrick tool, to make the cleanest OP5 ever possible. I grabbed the archives from this link and followed this tutorial. When i was executing the programa, in the userdate.img, he showed a error. When i saw it, i just stopped and closed the program. Now, my OP5 is hardbricked. The only sign of life that i get from him is when i connect him at the PC. I can identify it as qualcoom 9008, but when i try to run the program, he just fail and show me error 258.
Plz, i need some orientations. I have been read things for about 10 hours and didnt found a solution. I live abroad for any oneplus tech center, and i believe, for the other posts that i read, that online tech support wouldn't help me a lot. I really don't like to make this kind of post but i am kind of desesperate. I dont have money to afford another phone
Again, sry to disturb you all. Sry if i broke some rule of the forum too. And sry for my bad english, i hope that i was able to communicate right.
EDIT: I just tried in another computer. Same error appears. :'(
Hummm why follow a Unbrick Topic with tools for ...3T ?
Maybe you have a encryption problem, all your Tools/Topic are so old for the actual versions (Oreo 8.X OOS / 8.1 OOS)
I advise to you (in the first time), to flash this TWRP (using fastboot, very simple) just follow this guide : here
If you can flash TWRP, your phone is not bricked, you will boot in TWRP:
- Format Data > tape "yes" > Reboot in TWRP
- Copy/Past xXx 10.0 ROM to test, install and xXx Rom will fix/install for you the best OOS Custom ROM for your OP5 with a great Aroma Installer.
If TWRP with this rom work perfectly, you wil able to restore a official stock OOS for sure, just flash original/stock recovery (fastboot), wipe all data/partitions, install your OOS rom and it's fine
I think @cidsantiago says they bootloader isn't unlocked.
He needs to know that unlock the bootloader implies lost all /sdcard data and also installed apps and settings) before start the TWRP install process...

You loss the settings and downloaded apps but not requires to unlock the bootloader.

Don't worry though, it happens to plenty of people. It happened to me as well, and everyone eventually fixes it. It is unlikely that it is a hardware problem, so just following the correct steps should get it working. Keep trying stuff out, it's very good that your computer recognizes it as a qualcomm port, as far as I know that's all you need to flash the necessary things in order for it to boot.

I think your best option is to RMA the device through OnePlus. Since you haven't rooted it or anything, they should repair it for you.

Hello,
I have leeco le pro 3 x722 and problem happened that I have tried to flash to another ROM from AOSP to DOT, so I have made backup and tried to flash after wipe I realised I have wiped everything and now don't have any ROM inside phone, I have connected phone to pc but it does not show in device manager and nothing happens it only charges. I have TWRP recovery and I can only explore in it. Did I bricked my phone already? How can I recover it? did TWRP wipes backups too ? Also in TWRP it shows Internal Storage (0 MB seems wiped) and U(USB Storage)(0MB). Tried to connect with differend cables - same situation still no reaction only charging. On Backup Tab it shows that I have System Image 4gb, System 1,4gb, Boot 64mb
Updated//
Fixed partition now it shows internal size.
1.Changed data partition from ext4 -> fat > and change it again to same it succesfully recovered but after reboot it gone again.
2.Tried on diferent pc to connect phone - still no MTP.
Updated// 2018-08-24
Cutted file /system/priv-app/Setup-Wizard/setup-wizard.apk to another folder successfully booted ROM, now trying to download another ROM.
After download and reboot in TWRP internal storage shows 0 and cant access to ROM.zip, after change trick data wipes and after boot it show again clear phone. PC still don't see and cant turn on developers options.

The fact that you can use Twrp is great news! and its okay the phone is fine as long as TWRP is installed and the bootloader is unlocked. its no big deal not having an OS. As long as you have Twrp you are fine.
You are not bricked.
But, you need to be extremely careful with anything that you do regarding the Elite X722, if you brick it we do not have a qfil file to fix it and you will have no solution.
I do not have a X722, I have the X727 and I generally do not like giving advice on the X722 because of its volatility and there is no option to save bricks.
Here is the main link for the X722, only use roms that are compatible with the X722.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...elite-model-x722-guides-development--and-mods
You need to choose a reliable rom, gapps and Magisk.
I would highly recommend AICP
AICP is an excellent rom that works extremely well on the X722,

You already have Twrp installed, follow the steps below for the installation of Rom, Gapps, Magisk
First, you can of course use ADB but you would be better off buying an OTG adapter and a USB 3.0 USB Flash drive. I recommend at least 32GB. Absolutely, the OTG adapter is the best method, because you will have all of your files available for quick installation and you can make numerous nandroid backups of your favorite rom installations. So If you get bored with one Rom, you can quickly restore another Rom in 5 to 10 minutes.
If you do not have an OTG adapter and drive
First place your rom, Gapps, and Magisk within storage ( aka: sd card) using your desktop and follow steps below.
Boot into TWRP recovery
1. Go to "Wipe" and then to "Advanced Wipe".
2. Mark "Dalvik / ART Cache", "System", "Data" and "Cache".
3. "Swipe to Wipe" and proceed back the main menu, by clicking home button.
4. Go to "Install".
5. Select the ROM zip file and then press "Add more Zips" and select the Gapps zip file, and then the Magisk file.
6. "Swipe to confirm Flash" and wait for some time.
7. After the flashing is finished, just reboot to recovery, clicking checkboxes for TWRP, Reboot to Recovery first, then reboot to system.
Finished!
Edit: Since the PC does not see the phone, additional steps to come in few minutes.

Hello,
I have leeco le pro 3 x722 and problem happened that I have tried to flash to another ROM from AOSP to DOT, so I have made backup and tried to flash after wipe I realised I have wiped everything and now don't have any ROM inside phone, I have connected phone to pc but it does not show in device manager and nothing happens it only charges.

Part2 : Stay at ext4, use nothing else, there is virtually no benefit in using F2FS, the speed increase is in the milliseconds.
If these steps below do not work, try another computer or another cable. Or better yet just be patient and get the OTG adapter and USB drive before doing anything else.
[B ]If you can use ADB [/B]
You can save your self alot of time by looking up how to give ADB system wide privileges: this will allow you to flash files without tying the directory path.
However, there is a faster way: @mauronofrio created a tool called: "TOOL ALL IN ONE"" and its great!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...ctory-t3358711
Its an excellent tool for keeping your drivers and adb up to date. Plus it will give ADB system wide privileges.
Mauronofrio's tool can also unencrypt your stoarge
After install the All in One Tool
Make sure to check for the AIT program for updates, to the tool itself and to ADB.
Next, click button to allow ADB privileges system wide.
Get more information here:*https://toolaio.tk**
XDA page for Le pro 3 : https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-...1#post71627491
* The all is one tool is excellent and you can use it to install everything you want.
* You can use it to unlock the bootloader.
* Remove Encryption
* Install TWRP,
* Install your Rom, Gapps and Magisk etc.
* The tool will also update your existing installation of ADB, Android Drivers, and provide system wide ADB privileges.
Again , if you do not use an OTG drive. Just use ADB for flashing your files, the steps are same as with any other phone.

Post 3,
I just reread your post and only now seeing the partition size issue. The size issue will be resolved after formatting your storage, this is a strange issue, but is fixable. At this point you need to be extremely careful, if you lose you your boot, and recovery you are in trouble. FYI the boot and recovery are on different partitions., formatting storage does not affect them.
Specifically what did you flash?
No doubt, you flashed something not for the X722?
Question
Were you previously using a custom Rom?
Do not try flashing alternate firmwares,
There are several firmwares out there that will brick your phone, Go to you forum that I linked above for the safe versions. @D1stRU3T0R has a X722, perhaps he can chime in here and help provide some further advice on helping you out.
I am thinking that if you can use the All in One tool to flash the X722 stock Rom, you can have a fresh start. @D1stRU3T0R, if you are ssing this mention, care to comment? Thanks

@tsongming thanks.
So, first of all, you try to say that you made a backup but you wiped everything so now our phone is empty, and you can't connect it to PC nor use sdcard(logic) and OTG doesn't see your USB?
So, listen here, i had this problem too xd.
First, what format is your usb stick? If I remember well, NTFS is working (assuming you have pretty nes TWRP). Try to format the stick to NTFS, or try with another one. Your only option now is to find a compatible USB stick and to make it work with OTG, than you csn flash any rom you want.
When you get the USB working, install newest twrp, 0.3.2.1-3 or smth like this, than Genesys 26S, as a base stock rom, than AICP and blackscreen OC kernel, or whatever rom you want.
My wife has a 722 too. Mtp is never working on my PC. So i habe to usw ADB for file transfer. Just type "adb devices" if there is shown your device its working (must be in twrp at least and connectet via cable) then just type "ADB push " path to file" /sdcard" and it will copy the file to the phone.
I would first update twrp then modem.ZIP for x722 and then Rom gapps and magisk if u want.

As @D1stRU3T0R mentioned you will not need the PC once you have the PTG adapter and the USB 3.0 drive.
Make sure its USB 3.0 otherwise it may take a while before your phone will recognise the flash drive. I bought my OTG adapter and a 32GB usb 3.0 flash drive for $14 at Walmart for both!

I have 2 usb 2.0 and they both work (with some cheap old otg cable), so OP can try whatever stick he wants.
And i guess you mean OTG not PTG

Ha, Ha. Yes OTG, its my stupid autocorrect, on this awesome chroma keyboard. Keyboard is great, with its amoled theme, the autocorrect, not so good.
Yes, I used to use large 2.0 drives too. But, once they become about 80 percent full, I would need to wait 20-30 seconds, sometimes longer for them to show up in recovery. To make matters worse, sometimes I would need to reboot to recovery for them to appear at all. On the the other hand the much, much better USB 3.0 reliably always show ups and instantly.
To go on, the transfer rate difference plays a significant factor when creating or restoring a large full nandroid backup. For example, The transfer rate of USB 2.0 is a mere 60 Mbps while transfer rate of USB 3.0 is 640Mbps. Yes, this speed difference is in fact a huge time factor when restoring a 11GB full recovery!
Respectfully use whatever you want, but I am not going to ever recommend anything less than USB 3.0 Its funny, for a person whose always wanting the maximum overclocking speed, and absolute full use of the battery. I am frankly very surprised you would use anything less than USB 3.0..... Lol. its okay, just winding you up, I guess that I have much less patience than you. Ha ha
FYI, USB 3.0 drives are nearly the same price as the USB 2.0 drives.
I paid $2.00 for my OTG adapter and $11 dollars for by USB 3.0 drive. Better yet, I went back a week later and Walmart had a package with two USB 3.0 drives on sale for only $20!
Sent from my LEX727 using XDA Labs
first of all what version is your twrp, because newer roms need newer twrp
i did the same mistake on my x722 and managed to install new rom using adb sideload from twrp,pc and a data cable, just look into it how to install rom from pc using adb sideload or if the otg arrived is easyer to install from a flash drive with otg

After many tries it didn't help I have tried with NTFS, FAT32 still same didn't recognized otg storage, uploaded ROM to flashdrive when in TWRP checked storage of usb drive, cant even choose mount usb drive, or just take data from usb in Leeco. I don't know what to do I think I should recycle it ..
I have installed many ROMS and unbricked many phones but this one is "Die Hard" don't know what to do more when cant connect via usb/otg. Many thanks for help, I think for now is impossible to reflash any rom, still not wiped system data so I can boot my phone without setup wizard and he runs.
