Hi, Does anybody know where I can buy a main ( back case camera) camera for this phone. Mine has developed a fault, in that lines are on the photos and screen when I use it. Elephone are useless and are ignoring my requests to fix it.

Hi, my T-mobile MDA had the same main camear problem a few days ago. I could open the camera, but the screen is black. After several seconds, every function icon was shown. The low res camera works fine.
I firstly thought maybe the main camera is damaged because I had dropped the phone several times(Dropping made my phone white screen, but I fixed it myself). I bought a new camera module from Taobao(www.taobao.com, the biggest auction website in China) and replace, but the problem is still. Yesterday, I sent the phone to a repair store in Beijing. After half an hour, my camera is back again! The repairer told me that there is a small chip in the mainboard is damaged (maybe because of my careless dropping), so replacing the bad one with a new one, the camera is ok now for me.
From the Universal service manual, the main camera does not work because of camera defect or mainboard defect. I think not everybody has the same mainboard problem to me. If anyone want to buy new modules for your Universal, I would like to buy from Taobao for you.
Hi i buy an elephone p8 from guy here in Mexico and two days after my camera stop working..i open my phone and see the flex of the camera is broken..and i cant find who made this crap of phone...i can use another camera module for jiayu or inew..or not working for any reason..or aybe some one can tell who made that phone...

OR MAYBE SOMEONE HAVE A P8 FOR SPARE PARTS OHHH THAT WILL BE NICE..
if i were you, i would try to flash another Firmware. Its a KitKat-Version out already, you could flash that, and have a look if your Camera is working again after that.
Hi, I'm sorry that my post can't be useful for you, but can you tell me how you open the smartphone? After I unscrew I don't know what part I have to remove to reach the motherboard and the speaker (I got a problem with my speaker). Thanks.
Hi guys anyone know a source of the rear screens or the glass only (EPD e-ink) plus touchscreen still working fine, mine cracked and don't really want to write off the phone.
Also if it's not user replaceable has anyone had any luck with a service center in UK or EMEA ?

99% a hardware issue. Either the camera module stopped working or a cable is loose. 1% it's a software issue. If you're on a ROM, go back to stock and see if it works.
I've heard of this behaviour with the fingerprint scanner on the x720. It always turns out to be a hardware issue (the scanner stops working). In any case, the phone is easy enough to open up. The only struggle is getting the screen off without breaking it. http://www.myfixguide.com/manual/leeco-le-pro-3-teardown/
You can find replacements on Aliexpress but IDK how good they'll be, and if they're indeed Sony IMX sensors (they could be Omnivision ones).
Hi!
I had a big problem on my Huawei P8 Lite ALE, the camera started taking shoddy pictures, I thought it was software and tried everything I know but always with the same result ...
I thought it was time to buy a new phone but then I decided to try something else, maybe it was some dust or something similar on the phone lens and I removed the back cover and started looking closely with the help of a light bulb. I had the feeling that I had tuning due to its shape and with the help of a precision wrench I tried to turn the lens ... And it worked!
When rotating the lens the lens focus is changed!
I remembered that a few days ago I had removed the back cover of the phone and possibly have changed in the lens causing it to deflect.
How do I tune the focussing?
I turned on the phone, opened the camera application and zoomed in, I was running either one die or the other until I found the better-defined image!
Then he just closed the phone.
