Hi is there a camera mod to record videos in higher bit rate for the plus? i'm only finding mods for the regular s6 edge. Thanks.

Hey guys ,
We all know samsung outdone itself by creating a masterpiece in rear cam photography with s7 edge , its actually better than any camera in market if considered overall result.
But somehow i found that its video performance is not that good or may be its just my device.
I got samsung made sensor.
While recording in 4k , zooming in and out has obvious stutter and frame rate drop as well as when u move focus it stutters n give bad feel overall to video
When using at 60fpd , focus problem and at 1080p when shooting closely it gives waxy feel of object far from their natural form.
When compared it to my s6 edge , results were surprising , s6 edge produced better videos , nonstutter when shooting at 4k , no zoom in n out problem no problem when moving focus , Even 1080p at 60fps give better results (some advantage of larger sensor is there but still s7 takes more time to save 4k video too and video quality is not comparable to s6 edge , although its vice versa when taking still photos.
Anyone else with similar case??
I would love to have camera with mods that increase the quality of pics and videos. Using Tmobile version.

Thanks but those are just ports. Not Mods that increase the quality of vids and pictures with higher bitrates etc.

That's the kind of mod i'm talking about.
Hi everyone,
One of my friends asked me if there's any way of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (Exynos-variant) can support recording a video at 4K 60 FPS with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and actually I can't find the answer, even searching the net. . .Do anyone know about this?
Much appreciated.
Best regards,
7UIS
No, it cannot.
Though, I think OIS is enabled at each resolution / FPS, since it's basically the camera unit moving around. It's the EIS that's only available in certain options.
Using zeroCamera™ MOD at the moment. . .Now my the S7 edge (SM-G935F) is able to record videos at 1440p with 60 FPS and also with the stabilizer ON, but I'm not sure if the HDR is ON too. . .However, I can tell you that it is definitely better now with this MOD.
Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the Samsung Galaxy S9 come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.

Some Test using the Galaxy S9 vs the Pixel but this is ONLY using Cinema 4k and Filmic Pro - https://youtu.be/pIpD05-vFhs
Here is a test in fairly low light using the stock app vs cinema 4k. Also I wanted to see how grading the footage from the stock app did. - https://youtu.be/jrXUYjpWj_E
The stock camera app is surprisingly good. I am coming from a google pixel 2 which the stock app is terrible for video quality.

IDK the pixel 2 was holding its own. Im also moving from an XL2 but I think the camera and video are better on the XL2. However im not sure they they its so much better to warrant the hardware problems i have had with the XL2
Vlogging test using the S9. Gotta say Im super impressed. https://youtu.be/pgtPisI9BBg

It has 48MP camera the video quality may look crispy but it doesn't have OIS or EIS so we able to see some shaky in video footages.

Well, I previously owned a OnePlus 3T and it had OIS, after using Note 7 Pro, I can tell how OIS is better than EIS. EIS kind of gets choppy.
does camera video lag and frame dropping is definitively fixed ?
Video quality is good and all but the audio quality is literally crap. Just go to a concert or night club with DJs and stuff, record it with a phone and see the video, it's so distorted your ears will start bleeding.
This problems has been in MIUI since ages now and they just don't care about fixing it.
Crap slo mo.
Slomo frame drops issue still not solved.
And its limited to 120 fps.
No news about 240fps slo mo.
Why so ignored ..
