Hey guys, i installed renovate rom 1.1. It was going good, the private mode was working fine. I had stored photos in private mode. Then due to some reason I did an advanced wipe through twrp clearing system etc and reinstalled the rom and kernel. Now the private mode wont work? It says failed try again. Can somebody help with a solution? I dont want to reflash everything and start all over again (if possible).
And how do i recover the photos? Is it possible?
Fixed! I just reflashed the rom. Then booted it. And then after booting i flashed the kernel.
Earlier i flashed the rom and kernel one after another together and that seems to have caused the problem.

My first post here, so unable to access the development forum to ask this question...
I was flashing semaphore 0.9.8sbm before, then I flashed the 720p fix, which was supposed to fix the 720p recording. However, it didn't, I repeated the procedure (flashing sbm again, and 720p), but now I am unable to access even the recovery page.
May I know what I can do to salvage this situation? Best is if I could retain my data (My last backup is a month ago...). Thanks
download mode, flash kernel again through odin/heimdall.....reboot into recovery if it works.....then mount USB and save data........
from recovery flash the ROM you want....or flash entirely stock ROM through odin/heimdall after saving data
You can't get 720p recording working with the bigmem version of a hugeram kernel, can't you?
I managed to flashed a recovery fix, but I tried reflashing the kernel and it doesn't help.
I backup-ed my data through Clockworkmod, just asking if I flash a totally new ICS rom (or keeping with my old rom), will I be able to restore it w/o much problems? Thanks.
Hello,
First, sorry for my bad english and knowledge on flash/root.
I flashed Slimbean on my P700, everything worked fine, expect of the modem. I tried other ones, but didn't work.
So I decided to change the ROM and flashed CM10.2 on my L7 which was working fine until battery was empty. After loading my phone, I wanted to start it, but it stayed in a bootloop on the boot animation. I tried everything, wipe/dalvik wipe, flashing slimbean --> still bootloop
Now I thought, maybe CM11 could work, but still the same problem, I formated everything expect of sd, wipe/dalvik wipe, flashed the ROM, Gapps and kernel, but still the bootloop...
Any ideas?
It may take a while on first boot. But if it don't load you could restore a backup of you have one or flash a kdz or use LG update tool to fix your issue. Other than that make sure you have word everything in recovery and format system, data and cache before flashing a rom. Do not flash kernel before first boot unless it's required.
I can add to that to flash ROM only without gapps just to get OS to boot correctly.
I already solved it.
I whiped everything, formatted everything except of external sd and than first only flashed the ROM and rebooted, all worked, than i installed the Gaps, rebooted, and last i flashed the kernel, now it works fine but i will never ever reboot my phone or let battery get empty ^^ no more
thanks for your help
I want to put the original firmware on my device but i'm having some issues and i'm not sure how to deal with them.
I can't boot into recovery mode but i can get into download mode.
So via USB / Odin, i flashed the original firmware (Open European 4.4.2) Source
But now when i get a continuous message saying 'The proces android.process.acore has stopped working.'
How can i fix this?
My other apps (like fb messenger, twitter etc) seem to work because i get notifications.
Secondly, i still can't get into recovery mode. I tought it might be helpful to wipe all cache and data (everything like contacts, pics & vids etc was backed up so the data can be wiped) How can i get the recovery mode up and running?
Kind regards,
Thomas
Hi,
I'd recommend you trying to flash stock recovery again via Odin . Maybe it wasn't flashed correctly and now you can't access it.
All the best,

Hello. My device reboot into TWRP only after reboot (TWRP or System). I tried to reset data into AICP ROM in settings. Install again ROM don't works. Also restore from backup dont works. Help me :/
seems like this one trouble;
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/sdcard-empty-installing-rom-t3030736
will try flash the stock one after night. If anybody knows solution, please help me.
After 356 milions of flashing twrp and wiping my phone finally update.zip (stock OS) transfered into phone (earlier still bugs). Then transfered stock.img (image of stock recovery) into phone and flashed it and... My backup worked. I'm embarrased. Will charge my phone and try to update to the lastest version. Then I'll check that my phone have stock or twrp of recovery. Idk what happened last night!
I could install the stock ROM (i had stock recovery and custom ROM). After boot, device runs ~40 sec then rebooting. In recovery i did clean data, then the stock OS works fine.
I tried to factory reset a custom ROM, got sent to TWRP then I can't reboot to system from there. Tried a clean install but to no avail. I've looked around on the internet and I think I have to reinstall stock ROM and then reinstall custom recovery and ROM, except if I were to install the stock ROM once again (with sp tools) I need my phone to be turned off, not in recovery mode. So how exactly should I proceed now?
EDIT: Managed to get rid of the TWRP bootloop by restoring from a stock nandroid I've found on the forums, coupled with flashing a stock recovery image using TWRP. Reunlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP all over again and then flashed custom ROM and Gapps. Everything running fine now.
