Hello, I'm hardbricked my phone by downgrading it from 5.0.2 to 4.4, searched for help and found some information abaut JIG and unbrick.img, but can't find that file, can someone help me? sorry for my bad english.
How did you downgraded ur phone?

By odin, not first time flashing custom rooms or downgrading, but this time I forget to wipe and factory reset the phone and now I have complete dead phone.

Hello dear,
i have installed a custom rom without a rooted phone. If i want to start my phone now, it shows the samsung logo, and than a black lighted screen.
Can someone please help me out? Please!
I have a Samsung gallaxy apollo i5800.
(is there an option to root your phone by putting some files at my sd card, and load them or something?)

I think yu bricked it...by flashing it again with fresh rom...will solve the issue..

In the 'Galaxy 3 Dev' forum, there are plenty of posts dealing with this issue.
You can look for them in the XXJPB or XXJPA firmware discussion threads, or the big rooting/upgrading/... thread.
For sake of brevity: reflashing with an older, stock firmware (preferably eclair) usually fixes the problem.
Edit: This issue has no relation to the rooting process, only to the firmware flashing process. (You don't need a rooted phone to flash a firmware, nor will trying to root your phone fix this issue.)

Hi all, i flashed the galaxy s4 KitKat ROM from jamal (THIS IS THE ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...hp?t=2544474);
and now i want to return to the stock rom of the galaxy S4 but i dont know how to do.I tried to flash a stock rom with Odin but it didnt work and the Galaxy s4 at the start says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again".So i flash a stock recovery and now it works fine but i want to go back to the stock rom.Can someone make a guide or post a guide on how to do that??

search the forum n there are many useful posts for getting back to recovery like very detailed posts so search the first before creating new threads ...
if nothing helps like when u tried everything then go to local repair shop .. , they will charge max 40$ but that will save ur warranty.

Hi guys, my nephew has his gave his phone to me, i can have it for my kids.
I tried to put it back to factory setting by recovery mode and it says failed to find misc partition.
my guess is flash it from download mode with odin into a new rom ?
Also what rom should i take because i cant really get it clear what kind of phone it is, from the netherlands.

Thats a Galaxy A5 2016, model number is A510F as shown in your pic.
You should be good by flashing the latest stock ROM through Odin.
thanks, ive did that yes with the stock rom, only prob now is that it has FRP protection on..
