after a clean install of 4.4.3 i have experienced extreme battery drain from google services. the drain was so big that was more than the screen!!.
i don't know why this happened, but i had google now dissabled (from google now option not freezed, and everything else dissabled) BUT i had enabled location. It was eating away my battery like crazy. the same settings in 4.4.2 was not battery hungry at all.
I solved the problem by removing the permission of network based location on google search (i used android tuner but you can propably do it with appOps).
i know that 4.4.2 and 4.4.3 have no major differences but does anyone else experienced this? Is there any other way to stop the battery drain?
Hi,
I keep getting a "your device is overheating" and can't run any applications.
Also, I can't charge the phone ("Charging paused. Your battery temperature is too high")
The device isn't hot at all. I installed "Battery temperature guard" and it said the battery is at 90 degrees ..which doesn't make any sense.
I tried a cache reset with factory reset but to no avail.
I didn't try replacing the battery but I doubt it'll help since the battery sensor is located in the device itself.
Is there a way to override the battery sensor? Did anyone run into a similar problem?
The problem started when I was at the beach but I'm 99.5% convinced that not a single drop of water touched my phone.
i9505 stock rom non rooted.
Thanks.
My phone standby drainage is almost %10 hours. When I checked the memory section it seems like most of my apps are always running. I have tried force stop, uninstalling apps, factory reset, battery pull, but non of them didn't fix my issue.
Anybody knows solution for this problem?
I have been experiencing huge battery drain on my VNS-L21
I did everything to save battery and still drains fast..
It even had 43,91% when i woke up (Android System)
Have you tried factory reset after upgrading to B380?

Yep.
I have encountered battery drain issue just when I was using different wifi router. When I changed back to old one, it was gone.
My problem was related to wifi,Weird but interesting
Sometimes reflashimg the firmware fixes that issue.
I've updated on 21st August, after the update the phone got laggy, battery started draining fast, charging speed went way low ( even using with connected charger, it discharges), heating issue.
Anyone else is facing the same?
What should i do?

Nope
Take a full system bug report. Then try factory reset.
Clear cache from recovery
