My phone restart

Like the subject says my phone restart every time when I turning on. But if i remove the SD card the cellphone don't restart itself.

What ROM do you have?
Are you saying that you can't restart your device when the SD card if not mounted?

Check if you have some app installed in the sd card... I had this problem and it happened because the launcher, the setcpu and the swagger were installed in my sd, i moved into the internal memory, and now it works perfectly.

try this:
try to increase the read-ahead cache with this "SD-Booster" (requires root). 1024 or 2048 is a good value

Problems with External SD card

Hello! Today I have opened my memory card, but i found this, in the screen shot attached. In "LOST-DIR" folder I have various archives. Can I restore all my SD archives? Someone help me please, thanks!

(Request) Swap sd..move any app on sd

Someone have to work for swapping sd..i mean to give us the rights moving any app we want on sd card...as facebook which cant move on sd...so plz make us happy guyz...

Once all s5's can be rooted you can install FolderMount, which allows you to bind any directory from the internal memory onto your external SD (such as the android data or obb folder).

could you give more informations-steps to do this?
i just want move whatever app i want from internal to sd card..
my device is rooted

you can try running the app SDFix from the market, that SHOULD fix it, for a few of us we still had to manually modify the platform.xml for some reason, the steps are in that thread

from TiBu you need to go to settings and change the defult back up location to the external SD card, if it still says can not write to folder then SDFix did not work and you will need to follow the steps in the first post to manually edit it
as far as moving apps to SD i am not sure as i have switched to verizon now and we dont have root acess yet on VZW

i did it,it allowed me to make the default backup on my external sd card..
but when i go to transfer stills writes about transfer app (6) on rom..:/

Twrp not showing files

Why twrp cant read or show any file just folder when i click on the folder they are empty inside. Anyone have this problem?

What kind of files do you want to see ?

check where did you place those files internal SD or external SD card. you might not see folders in internal SD until you factory format your phone from recovery itself, but if you don't want to format your phone then copy zip files to external SD, it works fine

I had the same problem. I installed twrp with flasify from play store instead Odin and the problem solved!!

samsung android 6 grant sd card issue

Hello everyone. I upgraded my Galaxy a3 2016 to android 6.0.1 marshmallow. but I can't grant sd card to make full access like android 5.1.1 .... in android 6 , shows a notification that says "explore sd card" and I can't delete my files in third party apps like quick pic and I can't use sd card on titanium backup and I can't set custom location in ADM. I tried to find "platform.xml" and set it manually but sd card lines missing. why?!!! many people have my issue. please help me to grant my sd card on my galaxy a3 2016 in android marshmallow. thank you.

Same issue on A7 2016 in 6.0.1... Where's the permissions???????????
