Hello folks, I just got new SD Card 64GB because the official rom from samsung systems takes about 7GB from the internal storage [Notice: My internal storage 16GB].
So, I want to move almost all of my apps + files to the SD card (not all of them mostly the high size files).
For e.x: I've Mortal Kombat X from the play store when I move it to the SD card only the app is moved but the data stay in the internal storage Phone/Android/obb/xxxx also I tried other apps the same thing!
also I've tried moving the file by my self to SD/Android/obb/xxxx same problem and on launching the game it required an file installation (dowloading)!
My device info:
Model: GT-i9505 LTE
Android Ver: Official Samsung Lollipop 5.0.1
Internal Storage: 16GB
SD Card: 64GB
Root: NOT ROOTED Device
So, is there any solution ?
Thanks for your time guys...
You can try this. However, there is no guarantee it will work, and you assume any and all risks in trying it, including but not limited to bootloops or soft bricks. The app requires root as it needs to be able to pull data files from the /data partition, and you'll need to make a second partition on your MicroSD for the storage space. Certain features require a purchase to unlock.
I will give it a try!
I have just downloaded it from the play store but I think it required a root access!
Is there other way to move files to SD card without rooting my phone?
And what is the easiest way to root my phone
I mentioned that root was needed in my first post on this thread and why it was needed. There's no way to do what you want to do without rooting, so search for CF-AutoRoot on the forums for the easiest way to root.
Okay strephon thanks dude ☺I really appreciate that...

I was using XInternal perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 until the last weekend, when I did the update for the Smart Switch.
Since then it does not work anymore, the games on the memory card work, masa the downloads by Chrome and Whatsapp do not work anymore.
Can someone help me please?
Check if your sd card is selected as your default write disk memory. Select it if it's not. Worked in my case!

Hi
I have installed Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 ROM recently on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500. Now some of my applications cannot write to sd card anymore. I have looked all over to find a piece of software that can enable writing to sd card but so far none for Android 7 (Nougat). I have tried to use Root Explorer to change the owner and permission but it did not work. I have also used Material Terminal to run "ln -s" as root but also failed. Is there any other way I can solve this?
I can see that some applications will ask user permission to write to the sd card. Is it possible to make other applications also do the same i.e. asking for permission to write to sd card?
Regards
The developer of the app has to update it.
Question, i have a Samsung Tab A (SM-T280) , Running on 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Storage > Can't install apps to SD card, no options for it and yes i am aware of "move to sd card" however that does not move the whole contents off the app onto the sd card then upddating the apps it favours the internal storage for the apps "update" even after moving it with the default "move to sd option"
Basically what im trying to get at is, is there a way that anyone knows of for me upgrading to Marshmallow?
or is using a rom better to solve this issue? (or anything you can think of really)
if so , suggestions please and thank you in advanced!

I've found an .apk that allegedly upgrades firmware to 6. It's called "update to android 6.0" and the first run through failed with an error message with something along the lines of not having internet. I'm connected to wifi but I will say the RAM for this tab is trash and I'm waiting for web pages to load and constantly closing background apps.
