I disabled and stopped the process, but Skype still appeared in Updates. I then went to developer options and set it to Inactive. Is this sufficient?

If you want to permanently uninstall it, then download Link2SD (works faster than Titanium Backup) and uninstall it there. Reboot your device and it should be gone. If the app is still there uninstall it again from the Link2SD app and then reboot again. It should be gone by then.

I can't find a way to unistall it or even set it not to run on startup
Has anyone tried to unistall or shut down Kapersky?

In order to uninstall Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.0 (Android OS) from your smartphone, perform the following actions 1. Enable display of Privacy Protection. 2. Open All applications > Settings > Applications > Application manage > Kaspersky Mobile Security 9. 3. In the Application info window press the Uninstall button. 4. On request enter your secret code and press Exit. 5. In the dialog window with the question Uninstall application? press OK. 6. Click Ok after you have received the Uninstall finished! message.

This is a preinstalled system application. You cannot uninstall it.

You can only uninstall if you root your device, then use titanium backup to delete the app. Though I'd backup all apps first, that way you can restore them, if you ever had to return it for whatever reason.

I figured I could uninstall it, thought Id ask
when we get a stable root i will just use Titanium to freeze it

Hey guys i have the n8010 And i wanted to disable some of the stock apps like Google+ Google Games and so on.. but in App Manager it appears only the options Force Stop, Uninstall updates, Clear data/cache. I did disable them on my HTC device but here i cant...
Im running full stock and 4.1.2 Android, Shouldnt I be able to update to a further one or it isnt released yet?

you are going to need root to freeze or uninstall the system apps
You have to uninstall the updates first. After that, the "Uninstall Updates" button will show "Disable" and you'll be able to disable them

They can be simply disabled without root as it was said by coyoteelab. But cannot be uninstalled. When they are disabled they dont start.

As coyteelabs said... go to settings - applications - all apps - select the app you want to disable. Then..
1. If necessary, uninstall update first (select uninstall updates)
2. Then click disable (for some apps you need to uninstall updates first before you can disable them).

Thank You ! It worked i disabled those many unecessery stock apps ;D
Basically i let the app "disable all bloatware" and went along everyday life for a few months
Fast forward to now, i installed and want to use an app that requires root access. But it fails. i investiage and see that SuperSU is disabled in the Package app, i try to enable it but everytime i enable SUperSU( or any app) in Package disabler, it re-enables itself a few seconds later.
I have tried;
1) To click "Enable all Disabled" but it then freezes my phone.
2)Uninstall Package disabler app, but all things disabled are still disabled ever after the uninstall.
3)Using an older version(fails to get authentication)
4)Re-installing SuperSU via Playstore uninstall/install (now visible to click on but says it "root undetected"
After doing step 4, i can see that there is no tick to say it is disabled in package disabler anymore but i still cant grant anything root access like titanium
If Xposed (and any module associated to xposed)still works then i assume i am rooted and something else is at play here?
Any Ideas on whats going on or on how to fix?

Even Titanium is saying root access failed.
Im guessing something in PDP is blocking the root access grant message, even after uninstalling pdp, i still get root access errors.
Except for Xposed as that and Snappreffs(module) still works.

open supersu and change ("I forgot which 1") something about overlay and it should pop up asking for root access from apps again.

A window pops up only leaving me 1 option of "How to Root" and i cant do anything else.
Is it possible to lose root but still be able to have access/use to Xposed/Xposed modules?
Also if i uninstall PDP. Apps that are blocked by PDP, are still blocked
I want to uninstall the Feedback app as it drains my battery a lot, not to mention it runs in the background when Ive never opened or used the stupid app before! The question is can I uninstall it without having any side affects?
Uninstalling system app may result in OTA update failure, other than that no problem should occure.
Unfortunately this is the only built in app added by Xiaomi you can't disable.
Clear the data, set the switch to never run in background and don't open the app again, should help reduce battery usage.
Feedback (and also Camera) is a system app. So uninstalling it could make problems with OTA. Just disable it.

Feedback can't be disabled, that's why I gave the advice in the post before yours.
@kudos1uk I just tested it and you are right. But you can disable it with Titanium Backup or Greenify(I don't know how they work without root) or Brevent that should work without root: https://www.xda-developers.com/brevent-is-an-open-source-alternative-to-greenify-works-without-root/
I don't know if OTA works when the app is hibernated. Maybe, it's better to enable it before updating Android via OTA. Personally, I have the app Feedback activated. It doesn't slow down my phone...

You can't disable a system app with TB without root.
The OP only needs to follow the advice in my first post, if running in background is disabled and you don't start it all will be fine.
If cant disable Mi services and feedback, you can uninstall the app
You can uninstall s&f app by ADB tool using your laptop.. My question is that is it safe??
After working an hour or so, the android tv becomes sluggish or even frozen.
If I then use the remote to switch off, then it will no longer restart and the only solution is to remove and reinsert the power plug. Then everything is normal again.
Sometimes it works a few days without problems.
Cleaning cache and restarting apps does not help.
Not sure but I suspect only internet browsers cause it, not apps like HBO or Youtube, though they also become sluggish. I tried many browsers, and none made the problem disappear (some sometimes caused videos to severely blink)
Device is Thomson 43UE6400 made by TCL V8-R851T02, now v645 but tested many previous firmware versions.

You need to look at ram usage. If it's topped off, look at individual apps to find the culprit.
In Android I use Running Services in Developer options.

You have to remove system app which you dont use for example google music
How to do it?
Download kingo root https://root-apk.kingoapp.com/kingoroot-download.htm
install it, open it connect wired/wireless mouse, press get root, wait for it to get root, if it is stuck at 90%, press back and an error will appear, close the app, delete kingo root from settings app section. turn off and turn on again you will see superuser app open find app section then select system apps and select one of them which you dont use then press delete.

A trojan preloader wouldn't do anything at first...
Loading unknown firmware is high risk.
This one is already attempting to exploit known vulnerabilities to achieve root, not a good start.

Through adb removing system apps and installing them wont work thats the reason root is needed.
