[Q] Translation - Stuck on HTC logo

Hi Guys,
I'm currently translating MIUI.us rom for IncS into french. So far so good... and i hope releasing a french patch for release 1.8.5 or 1.8.12.
But I have an issue and need help from a good developer.
Here is what I did :
I didn't signed the apks but only replaced resources files into the sources apk.
I installed my new files generating asigned update.zip file.
Reboot and everything seems to work fine. My phone is now in french.
Here is the issue :
Once the first reboot is done and language set to french if i reboot my phone i'm stuck on htc logo.
Does anyone know what can happened ?

at this time i think there is no working crt effect for L5 the tweakbox crt effect only works for samsung devices since the tweakbox was first oriented only to samsung devices and you still had to install custom libs for that effect... so.. no working crt effect for our device :crying: :crying:
i've searched a lot and tried many things since i rooted my device that was the first thing in my to do list when root...
anyway i hope someone can make a crt effect for us.

hi guys.. i am an E300L user. i have been looking for custom roms for months. finally i have got one.

to view the download link you have to register. but it requires you to enter a capthca which comes in Chinese. i cannot copy and translate it in google translate cause its a gif image. hence i cannot register or download the rom.

Which ROM and how to install it?

Sorry for my ignorance. I have managed to install a ROM from this community a few years ago.
The current version is
Android Verson 7.1.2 / 14.1-20171019-tilak-n7100
I am totally not an expert. My question is.
Could anybody please tell me what the easiest way is to update to the latest version for the Galaxy Note II and could you also provide a link to the appropriate forum topic where it can be downloaded and also: Are there any detailed instructions how to install the ROM for complete idiots?
How do I know whether I rooted my device back then? Sorry for the noob questions.
