Need help for G530FZ revival - Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi people, have a strange problem here.
I got a G530FZ (one sim) from a friend for revival. His doughter used the phone for about a year(in Germany). So the problem is - the phone doesn't want to unlock anymore. It is locked with a pattern lock. The pattern is known and it works, but only for a second or two. I can see the homescreen, but cannot do any action. Every time I try with the right pattern, I get a message : "com.android.systemui" was stopped. For my feeling the phone is still locked. After this 1-2 second I see the pattern again. I checked if I really have the correct pattern and tried the wrong one. Result - "Wrong pattern" message.
Well, I tried to use the unlock pin(is also known), but I can't access this option. I tried to force the pin unlock through entering the wrong pattern again and again. Result - the phone restarts after second or third wrong pattern Also good to know - it restarts also after a couple of tries with the correct pattern.
All right, after I tried the easy way, I decided to just do a factory reset of the phone. But also with no sucsess. I rebooted to recovery and did "wipe data/factory reset" Result -- failure on formatting data and system.
Well, I decided to reflash the phone through ODIN, rebooted to "Download mode" and tried few different stock firmwares from samfirmware - FAIL. NAND WRITE START ends with FAIL everytime.
Then I tried to root(just to check), then to flash a custom recovery and so on -- FAIL. Everytime NAND WRITE START
What can I do with this problem? Everything I normally can do with my Galaxy S2-6 and it works - doesn't work with this G530FZ May be I'm dumb and the phone is firmware-locked and I need to unlock first before I can do anything with it?
So, again the key data for the phone:
SM-G530FZ one sim
KTU84P.G530FZXXU1AOA9
1 year old, but warranty rejected because of brocken glas(glas is brocken for 5 month and wasn't the trigger for problem above)
Recovery mode - reachable, but factory reset fails. ADB sideload WORKS, but I don't have an idea how to use it. I tried to use "ADB Run" programm, but if I try to dump something thru ADB - I get a fail message
USB Debugging is NOT on, and I can't activate this option with brocken unlock function
Download mode works, but ODIN fails on Nand write start (only tried with AP section). Tried 3.09, 3.10.7, 3.12.1
Unlock pattern known, but don't work
Unlock pin known, but I can't reach this option
Knox counter 0x0 - but nobody really cares about it. If your solution can help, but trigger the knox - you're welcome
What I didn't try:
I've found a engineer firmware for G530FZ with pit and so on. But It's a firmware fo g530FZ DUALSIM. Till now I was a bit scaried to try it. Do you think I could?
Thank you in advance for all help you can provide and sorry for my english. I can understand every answer in russian, german and english, so feel free to answer in your own language if your english is worse then mine
Valerii

Any help?

Soft Bricked (SM-G530W)

I was trying to upate the SUBinary and it told me to reboot. As soon as I did I get a message saying "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP" and a red text saying "Secure Fail : Kernal" help me.
It has something to do with your Google account being logged into the phone.. samsung can send signal to reset it but they won't if it's been rooted etc still trying to make sure reflash omg the phone with original rom would make it worse or not. Or maybe just reflash in the kernal. I'm on t mobile but can only find original rom on t mobile same network but we will see. I'm on my fiance a accident messaging from her phone lol or maybe just reflash the kernal the whole problem for me is I don't have a computer to try to reflash from what someone told me I may try to reflash with odin 3.90 with a tar file to the exact model number
Solution
I had the exact same problem as you but i found a fix
i know this is a very late response but who knows maybe some people will run into it
First of all you will need
-odin3
-samsung usb drivers
-g530w tar md5 file find yours here (im telus variant but bell worked for me)

or

sorry for super messy post i rarely post things i hope this saves you time
This is the best and quick fix for FRP Lock
...Just follow the link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-prime/help/custom-binary-blocked-frp-t3266961/page3
Worked for my SM-G530W
I had the same problem, and i used Kies3 (not compatible with my phone anyway), but if you go on toolbar to "TOOLS", "Firmware Upgrade and initialisation", it asks you for your device model (for mine i typed SM-G530W, and then it asks you for device serial number (S/N) found under the battery by the IMEI number. After this, follow on screen prompts (Restart your device in Download mode/ PDA, connect USB cable, etc), and let the software download and install (factory rom); After your device restarts, you are good to go (sometimes if it gets stuck on booting, remove battery for few second and start again.) Now you have to go back and set up everything you want, including re-rooting your device... Good luck. (My device is Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530W Factory unlocked rom, Android 5.11.

Did i just brick my brand new A5 2016 ??!. Problem Solved

EDIT: Problem solved!!!
I used this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...very-samsung-sm-a510f-fd-exynos7580-t3314399/ to install TWRP and root my SM-A510FD on 6.0.1 . My device was rooted and working perfectly until stupid me decided to turn off "OEM Unlock" and i restarted my phone and now it says "custom binary blocked by frp lock" The only thing i can do is go to the Download mode. I tried to use Samsung Kies and Smart Switch when in Download mode but they tell me that my device is not supported. But Odin detects my device and says "Added!!". I am currently downloading the stock firmware for my device from Sammobile and i plan to flash it using Odin.
- Will putting the firmware file in the AP section of odin and clicking start work to fix the problem? (I do not care if i will loose data)
- If this will not work is there anything else that i can do? I can't take it to repair because Knox is tripped and i do not have my receipt. If my phone is bricked forever please tell me so i don't waste my time trying to fix it.
Thank you so much in advance! Any help would be extremely appreciated!!

Just flash stock firmware and you are good to go, if it wont boot turn it off, reboot to recovery(stock) and wipe data & factory reset, later you can again flash twrp and root but dont turn off OEM unlock.

What about when my j7 says custom binary blocked by frp lock(boot.img) secure fail:kernel. It will boot into recovery, and download. Factory wipe does nothing, so recovery mode is useless to me at the moment. my computer detects the phone enough to say Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) driver error as the label of the phone. No matter what mode I'm in. Drivers are up to date, odins good, usb port, computer, and data cords are all good. I've flashed other phones and hooked this one up to another pc to see that it says the same thing. How do I get the computer and/or odin to agree with my phone enough to pick it up as a good device?

S7 Stuck in Bootload / Updating

Hi all,
since one day i´m totally wrecked up with my SM-G935F. On Monday morning the display was frozen. I looked in some forums and used odin to flugh the newest version (7) to the phone. After clearing the cache it worked quite well for about 3 hours then freezed again. Since that i´ve tried so many options, all leading to nothing ;( I´m quite sure that there must be a solution and hope for your help.
The actual status is:
The phone shows the Galaxy S7 Edge screen, then the "Installing system update". This crashed every time (no command) and then a black screen is shown with some information in the upper half:
No Support SINGLE-SKE
Supported API:3
# Manual Mode #
-- Appling Multi CSC --
Applied the CSC-code: DBT
Successfully applied multi-CSC
Successfully verify for dmverity hast tree
Sometimes after waiting it jumps to the "bootloader". The normal way with the volume up + power+ home is not working at the moment or i´m doing something wrong.
I´ve tried a few fixes:
-> downloaded the newest Firmware, an older version and the oldest one from sammobile and install via odin
Normal install in AP via Odin stuck an recovery.imgI renamed the file without md5, open it and extracted the files. From there i tried to single upload them (boot, system and recovery) It freezes at system...
-> flash home file first with odin
it stucks on RQT Close and don´t finish
-> install new firmware via SD Card
frp lock denied the installation. Get error: E: signature verification failed
-> samsung smart switch and kies
both not working. I´m not even able to make the software initializing because it tells me that my phone (SM-G935F) is not supported... WTF....
-> install CWM recovery via adb
I´ve tried to install an other revocery tool without success. I tried the ways via Odin and adb, both collapsing with the error of activated frp lock
-> TWRP recovery via adb
Same like CWM. The Binary Upload is denied trough frp-lock
-> Whipe cache from fastboot
I whiped the cache several times without anything changing
-> factory reset from fastboot
It says that factory reset was successful but data could not be wiped. It also changes nothing....
From my nooby perspective i would:
-> unlock the frp
-> install custom recovery
-> unlock signature validation
-> install via adb or sd card the newest Firmware
-> lucky guy
I´m really depressed/sad right now and have no idea what to do next. I spoke with samsung service and they told me to send them the phone so they can repair it. I hope that this is not ne final solution...
If there is any possibility to get the phone back to factory reset or any other working system i would be soo glad.
sorry for the bad english, it´s not my mother tongue
Thanks in advance and beste regards
Sebastian
LOL, didint read all but the part where the phone freeze after few hours on MM or even on clean Nougat firmware its a big sign that the problem is with hardware, just send the phone to Samsung so they could fix it and move on

I actually did. From my perspective there was no other way so i send it in. Really unhappy with this solution but i hope that Samsung Support will repair it. Maybe i was too naive with the android phone. i thought that i where able to totally delete and reinstall the system like i do with my computer. Now i will look for a good backup solution for the future ;D
Thanks in advance
I think you messed up your phone somehow... certain steps you described do worry me what you might have done.
Did you root/unlock your phone before? If yes, Samsung will happily return your S7 without even touching it.
Kies & Smart Switch do not work on rooted phones. Exception: Emergency Software Recovery and Initialization
Did you try flashing all four files (BL, AP, CP, CSC not HOME_CSC) in Odin at once? Did you try another PC / USB port?

I'd do the next:
1. Get an OTG cable and a USB stick. Format the stick to FAT32 and throw any .apk file on it.
2. Download some 4.4.2, say, G900FXXU1ANCE and flash it with Odin.
3. Reboot to recovery and perform a factory reset.
4. Reboot to system and enter Setup Wizard.
5. Connect the OTG cable with USB stick attached. When the phone detects the stick you will see a pop-up window of file explorer.
6. Navigate to your .apk file (from p.1) and tap on it. You don't really need to install it, you only need a security request after your tap.
7. Tap "settings" and voila, you are in the security settings menu now.
8. Navigate to "reactivation lock" and untick it. You'll be asked to enter your Samsung account credentials or to register a new account.
9. Register a new account, log in to it an you'll be able to untick Reactivation Lock and disable it completely.
The trick will work on early 4.4.2 only.

It will work in any case.
There are other ways too.
Yes, a pendrive or something like a USB cardreader with a card, just to connect it as external OTG storage.
You are saying you cannot turn the phone on. What does it mean? What you do and what you see?

1. You should know that the first boot after a factory reset takes a long time, say, up to 15 min. I'd suggest waiting 20 min. and then make a conclusion.
2. If your phone freezes and restarts after a factory reset, it's a good idea to flash a stock ROM. Reactivation lock will not block flashing a stock ROM via Odin.
3. If your phone still behaves abnormally, it's more likely a hw memory problem (rather often for G900), not a reactivation lock problem. Reactivation lock would not prevent the phone from booting.
4. If you still interested in "other methods", have a look at this my thread. It's for SM-G900V and the files will not work for SM-G900F, but there are another files and the main idea will work.
But I'd like to say it again: seems, it's not your case.

2. Where should i find stock ROM? My phone is in Telenor (Norway)
3. Beggining of the problem with my phone was that one day after turning phone on it came to samsung logo and start to scream ( wery loud noise ) and turned itself off. Since then it didnt pass trough samsung logo ever again. Then i started with factory resets and when it didnt help i tried to root it and put new ROM but all was blocked by R/L.

I have tried to put stock ROM and it didnt help. I was not sure which version should i use so i started with first one from the list. Odin says it was succesfull but phone is stopping now with recovery booting welcome page. It takes about one minute and the phone is off. I tried four versions of stock ROM and result is exactly the same.
Phone is not starting at all.
Should i try all versions of stock rom?

Hi,
I don't want to make you afraid but I was facing very similar problem and nothing helped but replacement of phone's motherboard at Samsung service centre -> my eMMc memory got corrupted for some reason.
Hopefully it is not your case but after reading your symptoms I wouldn't be much optimistic.

Any one is enough.
If you flashed a stock rom, performed a factory reset and the phone still restarts it is not a good sympthom.
I think, Many40 is right and it's time for a new motherboard.
There's nothing to be afraid of, it's just about $30 if DIY.
@Many40 @bbsc
Ok so i give up. I realy like this phone so i will give it to service for motherboard replacement since i have no idea how to do it by myself.
Thank you guys for help!
Cheers!

Cannot flash with an official ROM

I was offered a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge a few months ago and I discovered over time that applications installed themselves on my phone and performed operations in the background and my ins such as activate the microphone , play music or send sms. I tried several factory values reset but nothing changes, each time I have the internet connection activated they reinstall completely. This has the effect of heating my phone and reducing the life of the battery.
So I decided to flash my phone with an Official ROM that I did on SamMobile But when I launched the flash with Odin and my phone in download mode the operation failed!
I haven't been able to solve this problem for months already that's why I come here to ask for your help.
when the flash fails, my phone displays the error "SECURE CHECK FAIL: (BOOTLOADER)
I would like to make some clarifications:
- my phone is an SM-G925F (This is what is written behind it is also what is displayed in the settings)
- In download mode I rather see Product: name SM-G925L
- in the developer option, I don't find the "Unlock OEM" button
- When I click on "Software update" in my phone, nothing happens
- I don't know if it's important to specify it but I live in Cameroon
I need help please!
