As the title says, I was wondering if there was a compatible firmware for this variant of the core prime to upgrade it to lollipop. Any relevant or helpful answers would be appreciated!

Hello everyone,
Just a quick question about the S5 Plus G901FXXU1ANH6 (ATL).
Is there any date for the Samsung provided Lollipop update? I'm not able to update nor can I find anything with Kies.
All the other S5's seem to have the update already.
Or should I just not wait and flash CWM and the Lollipop ROM that's already on the forums?
Thanks a lot in advance.
My apologies if I'm asking a question that's already been answered.
I have a Verizon Note 3 that's on Android 5.0
Model: SM-N900V, Baseband: N900VVRUEOB6
Is there any android development going on for this?
I found a root method online using CFAutoRoot and Odin, but it failed.
Any help would be awesome. Thank you!
True root is not possible. Look into mulitsystem
Hi all,
I've been struggling to root my Samsung S5 4G+ (Telfort, The Netherlands), unfortunately this did not succeed. Now I'm trying to install the original firmware, but I fail to find it on the Internet. The closest topic I found was http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/sm-g901f-galaxy-s5-4g-lollipop-5-0-2-t3053957 , but there is no firmware for my country.
Details:
Model SM-G901F FCC ID A3LSMG901F
SSN -G901FGSMH
Anyone an idea? Would be a great help:good::laugh:

Hi!
sammobile has your model
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G901F/
BTW, there is a thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/orig-development/recovery-team-win-recovery-project-t3350160 where is TWRP custom recovery for your model. You shouldn't have problems to root your phone unless your bootloader is locked

Where to get this kernel from? I can see instruction on rooting SM-G360H etc. on this forum, would these instruction work on my SM-G360G?
You can use Kingroot ( http://www.kingroot.net/ ), i tried it and it was working well on my G360G (under android 4.4.4).
Since then, i updated the firmware with odin to get android 5.1.1 and didn't tried to root again :
I choose new zealand firmware (Vodafone) because my phone is from Australia (Vodafone) and there is no 5.1.1 firmware update for this country.
Hello. I have a galaxy s5 LTE, g901f on android 5.0.2 and i want to downgrade to 4.4. Can i use a rom from the g900f or is a diffrent one for my version?
It's strongly not recommended to use other version's firmware...brick...
NO! You will brick your phone. It has to be for the g901f. Simply look around the forums. Search for your specific model and you'll find the rom you're looking for. Here is a link for a KitKat firmware called SimpleGX Rom for your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/development/rom-simplegx-rom-v1-0-0-t2971815
