Is there any android development going on for this?
I found a root method online using CFAutoRoot and Odin, but it failed.
Any help would be awesome. Thank you!
True root is not possible. Look into mulitsystem

Hi everbody,
I have an international Note 3 and would like to update to Android 4.4.2 (currently running rooted 4.3, firmware MJ7). When Kies prompts me te update it tells me that te new firmware wil be NC2. I've searched around and in the AT&T subforum people seem not to be able to root this firmware (yet?).
My question is if it would be safe to root my international Note 3 or will i lose the ability to root my phone?

There a lot of tutorial there. U won't be able to root lollipop directly. Follow below tutorial to have root.

By the way, lollipop have disappointed me. Will revert back to Kitkat.

I have one Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910W8) with firmware 5.0.1 (LRX22C.N910W8VLU1B0F2). I try all different ways that I found in internet to root these device and not work. Any known how root these version of lollipop OS? I found the CF AUTO Root for version 4.4.4. I can downgrade from version 5.0.1 to 4.4.4? If I can, is safe downgrade?
I want my baby rooted.

my build is LRX21T.G900FXXU1BOJ1 and in every online tutorial they say to use this version:
CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.zip
but there is also this one for android 5:
CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltedx-smg900f.zip
which one should i use?

Suggestion: try searching the forum.
There is a no way to root marshmallow as of now
Downgrade to lollipop either ok3 firmware or pb1
and use Jr Kruse ok3 root method on xda in the s5 verizon forum
Then install safestrap and then search XDA forums for how to install rooted mm roms using safestrap on a locked bootloader
