So I have LG G3 D855 V30n-EUR. The problem is, that when scrolling in the store or in the web, it lags. The more apps are opened the more laggy it is. Is there anything to do to fix it? Factory reset didn't help...

It may not be related, but did you install correct kdz (16GB / 32GB)?
Well i dont know. I use stock v30n with xceed kernel only and apps like facebook, instagram, chrome browser run very good. Not visiting play store at all(just to download necesarry apps) but it runs fine for me also. Is your phone with 2GB Ram(maybe thats the problem)?

I downgrade from MM to kittkat because of the lag.
Passing thru Lollipop....same miserable lag...
I think the hardware of the phone is not properly
working with LL and MM because of the drivers/rom not optimized by LG.
That why so many complaints about
throttling and overheating in LL and MM
Do you have try z3 adrenal drivers ?

i see it looks like you guys over here on ATT are having lag as well as us on tmobile!
I came across one app that seems like a big culprit to the lag i am having..
Are you guys running the swiftkey keyboard??? If no, then disregard this post because it does not apply to you.
If you are, then please uninstall it and post back... one other member and myself from the tmobile section both confirm that our phones run much faster and are MUCH less laggy with swiftkey uninstalled. This sucks because i LIVE off using swiftkey. Im not sure why this is causing it, but i would appreciate it if you can contribute to the cause here?
my phone just doesnt run faster by typing. It runs faster all the time.
Swiftkey has NOTHING to do with the lag........

Can't say for sure, but I'm not going to uninstall it because I'm not having any issues. It wasn't lagging before I installed it while giving the stock keyboard a chance for a few days.

If you search through the threads here you will find that most found the stock Samsung Keyboard as laggy and many stated the lag was either reduced or eliminated by installing or using Swift..
My S4 was the same.. Swift reduced my lag considerably in the messaging app, email and web browser..

Did you do a fresh install or use TiBu or something? Try clearing data, then uninstall, then reinstall from market - mine has no lag and I've been using Swiftkey since day one.
Right I've been follow like most the threads about sorting out the lag we sometimes receive on the G3.
I tried the fixes and while improved it's not gone.
So I decided to fiddle and to my surprise improved things alot.
Go into Developer option and tick DISABLE HW OVERLAYS
I used to notice lag when going in the app drawer and hitting the home button, a pause, stutter then animation. Now it has a millisecond pause and a smooth animation to the home screen.
Give it ago and report back.
Yeah, well, I saw no such improvement. Furthermore, that setting doesn't persist after a reboot.
If you want it to remain, you'd need to edit build.prop and change:
'debug.composition.type=c2d'
to
'debug.composition.type=gpu' (or cpu)
It's not worth it in my opinion, if there is a difference, I'd need to run home quickly to grab my atomic clock to measure the difference.
No difference for me either
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
Odd, it's a massive improvement here, are you guys running anything else ?
No difference for me.
Running ART, rooted, removed lots of bad stuff and used trickster tweaks, with 10f.

That phone does not have a camera. It is a petty. HTC will probably disappear soon: they have not been able to get benefits in 2013 and 2014. Customers currenty dont want to know about them due to evil sw update policy. I dont think a clever customer will buy an HTC.
Thanks anyway.

LoL...I don't notice any lag on my G3. What's kind of funny is some M8 users said the camera was fine back when it came out. Months later they like the G3 camera better. HTC took a gamble on the M8 camera and failed. Imo
This helped a lot. Things are a lot snappier.
Thanks!
Tried the M8 but think I've broken it trying to get the battery out
Works for me D855 32GB on V10i-GLOBAL-SI
Well, the 5.0.2 Android Version arrived on my Moto G two days ago (xt1068). I was really hopping that my phone would get a smoother and clean system usage, but i got a huge disappointment while facing with laggy transition, a horrible microstuttered close-in/close-out on menu and main screen and some weird stuff like getting 90% of RAM used when i'm only with whatsapp opened.
So, i'm just in the mood to share this with you guys, and also i would like to see some reply or some "fix" for it. Thanks for reading!
I don't have lollipop. but did you power off and then power on? reboot.
After using 2 weeks. Lollipop is awesome. Had little slutter and battery draining problem. But its perfect now.
Try Nova Launcher - Stock Google Now Launcher is known to be laggy.

I was considering on a factory reset, because of a bug on the mobile data. Dunno if this will make it work again, but i'll certanily try. Thanks!
So i have found a very strange bug. After converting a youtube video to mp3 and playing it for a while, the track begins to sound very weird, it gets a cracking, disformed, and a very weird sound. But the weirdest part is, when i go back to Viral lite-app (where i got the URL-link from) and play the original clip it's also distorted!!!!!!!!!!!! I find this veryyy weird and have no logical explanation for it.
So all other tracks and songs are cristal clear but when i convert them to mp3 and play them for a while, they begin to sound like sh*t!!
Has anybody experienced the same?
If i understand your issue, i think that its an app related issue and should be asked/reported in the playstore not here.

NO! I don't think it's Viral lite related issue. Because when i play the video in the official Youtube app, its also distorted!
Thats why i said, i cant seem to find a logical explanation... could it be like a security thing from Youtube to stop people from downloading/converting videos? Or is it a BUG from lollipop?

It depends on the carrier. If you dindn't get a notification asking to update that means you have not gotten the update yet. I'd wait a few more days or even weeks and the update should be out for everyone. :good:
