Android 4.4.4 LMY49G Omnirom for Galaxy i9100

Hello everybody,
I'm using a Galaxy SII i9100 with an omnirom mod and just learned that Google released an update for android 4.4.4 (which is the latest omnirom mod for my phone) called "LMY49G" to fix some security issues. Does anyone know if theres a plan to develop an appropriate update for the omnirom mod (and therewith also for my Galaxy S2)?
Thanks for every answer.
Google actually did a KitKat security update?
Interesting. We did do some KK security updates, will need to talk to the team about this one for devices that never saw L or later.
Right, relying on my information that update called "LMY49G" has been released for android 4.4.4, 5.0 and 5.1.1; for version 6.0 and 6.0.1 the release is called "2016-02-01", I think its the day of the release. As far as I know the update has only been released for google nexus devices and for blackberries with android. It should fix some critical security issues. Maybe that information is helpful?

That doesn't make sense on further thought...
Anything 4.4 would have a K prefix to the build. Something starting with L would be a 5.x build.
https://source.android.com/security/bulletin/2016-02-01.html says 4.4.4 for "updated versions" for some items, however - I can't find an appropriate release tag for these anywhere in AOSP.
Some of them appear to be some of the old Stagefright vulnerabilities which we already backported fixes for...
God the documentation for this update is confusing/poor...
Okay, today I got a notice, that there's been another update called "LMY49H". Again its been released for Nexus and Blackberry Android devices to fix some critical security issues. And also again its called LMY49H (obviosly just the last letter changed) for android 4.4.4, 5.0.2 (thats also different this time) and 5.1.1 but "2016-03-01" for versions 6.0 and 6.0.1. So I think this time its from the beginning of march. You're sure all of those problem have been fixed in the omnirom mod before?
Thanks for your help!

Best ROM for non-techsavvy individual?

I passed down my Nexus 10 to my father a few months ago, and the current ROM has got some corruption and so I'd like to flash something else.
He's essentially not techsavvy at all. I'm just looking for something rather stable for the moment that's moderately up to date for security reasons.
Once LineageOS starts building snapshots for the Nexus 10 I'll regularly update that with OTAs.
Any suggestions?
If you are ging for security a nougat rom is the best since it has the january security Update. But if you need a fully working rom you should Go for marshmallow. In this case the Last cm Release is fine. But it has only the december security Update in it.

Any idea where official cm13 is hosted/archived? I'll take your suggestion and install the last stable build of it. Then update his tablet to lineage once their stable builds start.

How can I update Android security level on a custom ROM?

Hi, I have a Nexus 6P with a "MegaPixel" rom running on v7.1.1 and the security patch is at Dec 5, 2016
I just got a notification of an update. I tapped install and it just restarted the phone to recovery (TWRP). I rebooted back to system and the notification disappeared.
I tried to check for update but it showed nothing, and the Security patch is still at Dec 5, 2016.
The kernel I am currently running is ElementalX kernel. And yes, it updated to support Feb 2017 security patch.
On another topic, my battery life is ****, and this is the main reason I changed ROM and kernel but it didn't help by much(I am talking about 2.5 screen on time with 50%-70% brightness)
Thanks from advanced
Hi... Just look in the thread of MegaPixel... But it seems like last update was released in December 2016. You can't get last security patch if the dev doesn't update his ROM. You'll have to wait for an update or switch to another one.
As for battery life. It really depends on how you use use your phone. There are a lot of threads which aim to help with battery. I invite you to start reading the forum a little bit, I'm sure you'll find some tweaks to improve it.

February updates are live

Updates are live, installing on Pixel XL, but zero information about the fixes or improvements on Google Bulletin. It says no Pixel security fixes this time included, no information about new features or other fixes too. So only general Android security fixes this time I guess.
Announcements
There are no Pixel security patches in the February 2019 Pixel Update Bulletin.
Functional patches
All Pixel devices running Android 9 will receive an Android 9 update as part of the February OTA. This quarterly release contains many functional updates and improvements to various parts of the Android platform and supported Pixel devices.
Does anyone already received the OTA ?

I manually installed on Monday afternoon. All went well. Flashed factory images (retained data). Booted TWRP to flash Magisk. Only nuance was that new version of Magisk was released at about the same time, so had to play around with that for a bit. Standard monthly upgrade. No surprises. All seems to be running well.
I'm on magisk but I haven't receive the OTA even when pushing the button. With magisk shouldn't I still get the notification (manual or not) ?? I know that installing it with magisk is a whole different thing... I always install full otas manually via twrp, but I would like to install a ota with the magisk method... too much time consuming when doing via twrp

New updates 11.0.7.0 are available

A new update is coming to my Note 7 today.
It is 1.9gb
Is it android 10?
What is new?
- Android security patch February 2020
- App lock for all apps
Does it need 1.9 GB?
I've got mine one week ago and it was just 200MB. The thing i've noticed is that the 48mpx camera is fixed.
Why so large? Is it android 10? I got the notification, but don't want to update just yet.
No, it's just an update with February security patch. I guess this is not just an incremental OTA, but the whole ROM, that's why it is so heavy. I've installed it and I haven't noticed any new bugs.
