So today i went to service center for my phone fps and no network issue. They firstly flashed stock rom and checked if it solved the problem. But it did not help(my bootloader was unlocked once and it also showed warranty void:yes in cmd after command fastboot getall var).So the guy told his senior in the service center that the motherboard will have to be replaced. So they just gave me a job sheet and told me for 20 days to be repaired!moreover he told me screen burn issue was caused by faulty motherboard(well i am not still convinced how the hell motherboard cause problem in lcd, moreover when i told him screen burn in he's face when blank i.e he did not know what i said .So explained him what is screen burn in).Motherboard can cost 8k-9k easily.Moral of the story they dont check with getvar all command.they just see the bill and conclude it is in warranty or not.But make sure you have locked your bootloader otherwise during boot it will tell bootloader unlocked and you would have to empty your pockets .
I am on RR 5.8 Rom, before that i was on soak nougat 93-11 also my bootloader is unlocked please tell me how to relock it. I want to rectify my screen burn issue to service centre. I heard that its not possible to relock bootlader if i have installed nougat..

Please try using below url, I have successfully unbricked my motorola g4 plus.

For me, when I went to service centre to complaint about battery drainage. They took a look at my phone's IMEI and concluded that my device is not in warranty by looking at there database in pc
And told me that they have to change motherboard.
Sent from my Moto G4 Plus using Tapatalk
Of course you can relock your bootloader. ALL THE DEVICES CAN (G4 & G4 PLUS)
https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=uyn-zxViGZs
Download the 2 files in description; Join the 2 folders (copy all files in fastboot folder and paste them into the firmware folder) and then, run RelockBootloader.bat
If it still shows the unlocked bootloader alert, then run flashall.bat, ONLY IF IT STILL SHOW THE ALERT! IT SHOULD SHOW IT; BUT IF IT DOES; do it

I have a strip of dead pixels across the middle of my Nexus 4. I contacted warranty service at Google Play, and they said it should be under warranty.
I bought it on the day of release.
So, since I rooted and have flashed this thing like 30 times, I'd like to know to what state I should return it before sending it back. I suppose it matters, but I'd be happy if someone told me it didn't.
Thanks for the advice.
Read this guide to flash the stock images. Once youre done you should also lock the bootloader using "fastboot oem lock". Ive seen some people that were able to rma successfully even with an unlocked bootloader, but its better to be safe.
1st off I've been on XDA for many years and this Sub-forum confuses the hell out of me. Threads are cluttered with talk over all the variants of the G4 which confused me on what I could do with my device. That being said here is my issue...
I just got a XT1625 G4 and proceeded to try to get the adds removed. Reading this thread. It failed so it said to unlock the bootloader via getting a key from Moto which they let me do and I am unlocked according to the boot screen warning and fastboot info reporting "flashing_unlocked".
I then ran the script again but the device was unable to boot and went straight into recovery with it reporting at the bottom "WE HAVE DETECTED AN ATTEMPT TO FLASH UNAUTHORIZED SW ON YOUR DEVICE. CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ASSISTANCE." which I fixed by following this thread
Now reading more users say that this device can not have the bootloader unlocked (um mine is) and that amazon/moto have patched removing adds. Not sure what is true so I need some clarification.
Ideally I want to just flash a stock rom with no adds if possible and receive ota updates...can i?
OR remove the adds on the amz rom and get ots updates.
This phone is not for me so i dont want to have to fix it all the time. If this is not possible im going to send this amazon virus infected phone back....
I would honestly spring for the normal xt1625, you can even flash the nougat update on it since it's the xt1643 with a lower camera, no laser focus, and no fingerprint reader.
I got mine at best buy and did unlocks with no issues. It's definitely an Amazon thing. Like my old Moto g on Verizon I couldn't unlock.
hello to all, my Nexus 6p, after an official update, restarted and stopped on the Google logo. i tried to flesh a firmware stock via fastboot but it does not work. the phone is original with bootloader locked, i can handle it in fastboot mode. is there a way to flesh the stock firmware? In the Nexus with locked bootloader
Thanks
ADB sideload the OTA
I cant enter in recovery only fastboot mode
BLOD?? If you can enter fastboot but not recovery and it never boots passed the google screen you might be boned.
bootloop. logo loop...
I have the same problem does not pass the logo and restart, but I can enter the recovery and fastboot.
all this with the oem blocked.
I clarify that I did not find the system of the dryer nor freezing the telephone.
exp.:crying:
I do not know how you define it ... but my nexus 6p, never unlocked, always kept original, after an ota update, has remained fixed on the google logo, with the key combination i go only in fastboot mode .. ...strange? but it is so...
how do you call it? hard brick? soft brick?
for me it's hard brick since i can not flesh the firmware ...
Fun with Warranties

I was a die hard and avid 6P fan. It was literally the best phone I have ever used...when it worked.
When I was still under Huawei's 1 year manufacturer warranty I ended up sending it in twice. Each time they sent me a new handset as they couldn't fix it.
Once I was off of Huawei's warranty I had to deal with my Square Trade insurance. They couldn't fix it either and opted to send me a check. I only bought the phone once but ended up owning three different handsets over the course of less than a year and a half.
Your best bet, in my experience, is if you're still under warranty send it in and get a new one. Huawei's US based customer service was nothing but excellent every time I interacted with them.
Good Luck,
Ben
thanks for your message, my nexus is still under warranty, sent to huawei italia, the phone I picked up after a month, they could not fix it because it is not an Italian guarantee but a European guarantee, they told me to contact the shop where I bought it, but the store is closed for bankruptcy ...
my only way to resuscitate the phone, I think I'm getting a tools that installs the firmware, having the bootloader locked ...

That sound sketchy!
Don't accept such an answer that your phone is still under guaranty but not in Italy!
Huawei are an international company.
Use this link with your IEMI to verify your device is under warranty and if it is simply contact Huawei UK for instance.
http://consumer.huawei.com/us/support/warranty-query/
Checked with them last week and they agreed to fix my device free of charge.

Yesterday unfortunately I dropped my phone after that I rooted my device and installed twrp! But now my screen light glows very late after unlocking through fingerprint or unlock button or double tap wake up! Is this problem due to hardware issue or this is due to bugs of software after rooting? Anyone help plz
Yes, it's a bug.
its a hardware problem rooting and installing twrp cannot cause the screen to lightup late. unroot flash stock rom lock bootloader and take phone to service center dont take phone to service center rooted and with twrp and with unlocked bootloader.

Bro i unrooted my phone! Now it works fine! But i want to root it back without any bug
flash the latest version of magisc
Yah, I'm serious! I'll tell you in detail.
Weeks ago, when I tried to flash stock rom, I made a big mistake that made my deivice hard bricked and then I found the reason in this thread: https://in.c.mi.com/thread-1095941-1-0.html.
I immediately brought my device to Mi Support Center, they made it alive but other problems came and I posted this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/help/help-soft-brick-t3860620 (thanks for people who tried to help me)
I found that my device lost persist partition, so that I flashed it, done, however, I relized that my device lost IMEI and BASEBAND, too.
I tried to restored my IMEI by QCN file but I only got sim 1 IMEI, I flashed BASEBAND and my deivice stuck in bootloop.
After a long time, I asked for someone to help but they couldn't do anything and then I found some problems.
1. IMEI dosen't show anything now and BASEBAND is unknown.
2. I can't flash Android 8.1 or higher versions on my device, it only accepts 8.0 and lower versions. If I flash 8.1, it continuously reboot when Android One logo shows up. But nothing happens when I flash 8.0.
Three days ago, I brought my device to Mi Support Center again, they said my mainboard is broken, it need replacing but I denied because the cost is too expensive, about $145. I took it back, tried to flash 8.0 version and installed update, sadly, my device is locked now and I can't flash anything. I think I can flash 8.0 via testpoint method, but the important thing is that I don't know what's exactly happenning with my device.
Why I can't flash 8.1 version and can I take my IMEI back?
I'm tired to find the answers days and I'm thinking to sell my death device with a cheap price about $40 for screen and camera only.
Someone help me, please!
By the way, I'm in Vietnam.

I can buy a new one with the cost to replace to the whole mainboard. In fact, I accept the thing that I can't use SIM anymore, I just don't know why I can't upgrade to 8.1 or higher
