Im using newest MIUI rom and i can't see files on my sdcard when i go to file explorer. I tried remove sd card but it didn't help and on recovery i can see files on sd card? Anyone else have same issue?
Make sure you're looking at the external SD card and not the internal storage as that tripped me up a few times

Yes i am looking SDcard NOT internal storage. When i take SD card out i can't see even the internal storage. It says then that Please insert SD card, when i do that i can only see internal storage
Go to x5 settings and change the setting under sd storage. Then do a reboot.

how do i export or backup my contacts to phone memry in GT-N7000?
Note:-
I do not have SD card.
Thanks.
Contact - menu - import/export - Export to USB storage
(if you select export to SD card it will export to Ext SD card)
PS If i remember correctly this option available on ICS only. On gingerbread it was only avaiable to export on ext card only.
import/export menu i have import/export to sim card and via e-mail or other messaging app only!!
note:
i don't have sd card
You hav not inserted sd card, thats why you may not seeing option. And usb storage option is i think only in ics

On my Note (GB) it only says Export to SD card. Not ext sd card!
I must admit that android defies my logic. Perhaps I’m too old at 71.
Why the heck the internal memory called sd card? Why not just internal memory or phone memory? People just saying sd card can mean either to me and leave me wondering if it’s internal or external. In the phone it can be ext_sd_card, USB storage etc. not very helpful.
Rant over.
Kind regards,
Yes in GB, export to SD card means Export to Ext SD card.
Thats why they have corrected on ICS. On ICS it is USB storage and Ext SD card option.

Thanks for the reply
How would that help ?
I thought that once you set up the adoptable storage that some system files are are copied over to the sd card. and also when installing some apps some/all of the files will be copied over to the sd card.
Now if i want to stop using the adoptable storage, how do i do that without messing with all the files that have been copied over to the sd card?
i'm using p9 lite..how can i transfer my apps to sd card? plz help
Already has been discussed here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/help/unable-to-microsd-card-apps-suggestions-t3412109
Seems like there is no way to do that as of now.
(Sorry, but I use Google Translate)
Would you like to know how to use external card as internal memory? I use Android 6.0.1 on my Note 4. When formatting the card, the option to use as internal storage does not appear.
