Build 15 (Stable 3 "Elpun") : Download
/! Make a backup, This build needs a full wipe /!
[security] November Security Bulletin from CM
[usb] Charge Only can be enabled (and usb can be renabled)
[fix] Zram should be working correctly now (reduces longterm slowdowns)
[camera] Recording in stereo should work now (Thanks @goodoane)
[kernel] security feature : now uses CC_STACK_PROTECTOR_STRONG, more info
[signed-build] the build is now using release-keys instead of public "test-keys" meant for debug, improves a bit security and fixes some bugs in Google Apps (ex: Android Wear refusing to work, asking for an "user/signed" or "userdebug/unsigned" rom)
Build 14 (Stable 2 aka "Ololo") : Download
/! Make a backup, dirty update works but if not, do a clean wipe or don't complain about bugs/crash/FC/whatever /!
[security] Dirty COW fixed (CVE-2016-5195)
[battery] small improvements, battery stats should be more accurate
[stability] Clock wakelocks should be fixed
[improvement] built as user instead of userdebug (rom size is a bit smaller, less logs)
[SafetyNet] is properly "suported", banking apps and pokemon Go perfectly works without installing anything else (no more systemless root, xposed or w/e to make it work )
[kernel] general updates (3.10.104)
Build 13 (Stable 1 aka "Olala") : Download
/! Make a backup and do a clean wipe or don't complain about bugs/crash/FC/whatever /!
[LiveDisplay] is now natively working (perfectly smooooooth)
[kernel] general updates, security updates, cleanup, Live Display Implementation
[stability] CM updates
[usb] Charging mode only should work correctly when plugged in usb.
[decoder] AwesomePlayer is now enabled by default instead of NuPlayer (known to cause Google Photos crash, etc.)
[gestures] CMActions is now correctly using Russians strings, Spanish translation added.
[misc] root should be allowed from Dev Options now, anyway if not, flash SuperSU
Build 12 (Release Candidate 2) : Download
/! Make a backup and wipe /system before you flash this RC to be sure you got rid off the ANT+ files /!
This RC2 will probably be renamed "stable 1" if no major problem arise.
[kernel] general updates, cleanup , disabled KSM & UKSM for battery performance
[removed] ANT+ was only partially working and caused battery drain (it seems)
[battery] disabled both ANT (see above) and a few unneeded kernel features that might have caused a bit of draining issues, this should be better now ! :good:
[stability] overall cleanup (overlays, values, etc..)
[gestures] CMActions was cleaned and a few bugs were fixed, the gestures are now enabled/disabled by a switch but remains customisable when you press on them :good:
[misc] adb is not root by default anymore (this might help those who play PoGo) use the dev settings to change that
Build 11 (Release Candidate 1) : Download
(I told you I wouldn't release a beta next time)
changelog :
[bugfix] wifi hotspot is working (both in secured and unsecured AP mode)
[bugfix] fix the back button not being active at first touch when home was pressed to wake the device (elexogic)
[bugfix] back button vibration renabled
[improvement] Gestures are fully customisable now, choose what app/action is triggered (thanks elexogic again)
[kernel] general updates, config_aio disabled for security
[battery] IOscheduler reverted to "deadline" for better battery life
[stability] wifi, mobile, bluetooth, gps stability improved (blobs update to 5.1.10G)
Build 10 (latest beta before stable ) :
Download
(changelog : trully fixed back button for all M2 Note variants)
Issues
Data on second sim in a dual-sim configuration. (hardware limitation)
If you find a bug please check if there's no issue already mentioning it and create one with details and logs here : Bug reports @ Github issues
BUT FIRST :
Do a clean install first, wipe everything.
Make sure you don't use modifications (flash clean, try again)
Check the closed issues
Check google first, there might already be solutions
Explain and give details, add logs as much as possible
How to install:
It's usually a good idea to download the newest build version. Just install it via recovery. I tested it on TWRP but it should also work on other recoveries.
You will also need gapps if you want to use Google services. stock OpenGApps - use the arm64 versions.
How to install TWRP - I don't support unlocking bootloader, installing TWRP or the ROM, you should know what you do first or start learning.

Off topic, but shouldn't you remove the links?
Or are links allowed now that Xiaomi had confirmed a Q1 release for kernel sources?
PS. They announced that Redmi 1S sources are gonna be out tomorrow.
Is the ROM going to deep sleep? Reboots? Nothing mentioned in op?

Since this is just the 291214 v2 from the other thread, i suppose an updated bug list would be:
-Overheating (confirmed by users)
-mm-qcamera-daemon and Miscellaneous battery drain (not yet confirmed in latest build)
-some users faced reboots, but VERY rarely
-goes into deep sleep, but for some users (i can confirm personally) Clean flash recommended.
-extremely long boot times

Yep it's same setup here but this is devdb project and further it will be updated here.
http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=banks&device=gapps - used this gapps, flashed right after CM, looks like working.
Wiped everything, clean install.
15minutes of using: heats like hell...
every reboot takes about 5minutes on bootanimation.
sometimes phone freezes when going back from settings submenu.
There is something I do not understand.
The rom me now is perfect, no trace of mm-qcamera-daemon and that I'm using FV-5 camera.
Temperature is cold bug and according GSAM or out on the graph.
Wear v1 build in the system 2 and the build yesterday in the system 1.
Edit:
Wonder if you have tdb ebabled?
Armin is kind of onto something I started thinking what if this phone wasn't really meant for dual boot and just ran 2 systems simultaneously so I flashed the same rom 29 v1 to system 2 and rebooted and while leaving it active on system 1 and tried making my phone random reboot in deep sleep unfortunately I was able to create a random reboot rather easily so I figured what the hell I then rebooted into recover went to the advanced menu and switched the active system to system 2 and rebooted my phone into system 2 all my programs were left there they were just missing off of my home screen so I put my phone into deep sleep tried to recreate a random reboot checked cpu spy to make sure it went into deep sleep after unsuccessful random reboot attempt I tried to make it do it again and again with no luck until the 6th time so it is still possible to make it do so but rather than being able to easily make it random reboot just about every time I tried now I've only been able to make it do it once out of 10 tries which means it's incredibly hard to accomplish a random reboot now the only test is to see if it will random reboot not trying to make it do so granted it rarely did it still happened about once every 12 to 24 hours and if it doesn't we might have just solved the random reboot issue for good. Or or just follow me on this one being it is a Chinese phone maybe system 2 is really system 1 and whomever made the cwm has them switched around.
Sent from my Xiaomi MI 3W
Never mind I got a random reboot after 2 hours
Sent from my Xiaomi MI 3W
I wish you good luck to you and all contributors. I really hope you're goind to do something perfect
I really hope to see this rom beeing accepted as official by cyanogenmod team in the future. (as the m1cha rom for Mi2 and Mi2s)

I can't believe it. CM12 for our Mi3! GREAT WORK DEVS! SO MUCH WOW RESPECT HERE GUYS!
Here's my initial reaction(s):
The heating issue: nope. none here. Its pretty much normal for me.
The reboot issue where it takes a hefty 5 mins? Nope. none for me. It only takes a minute for me to boot.
Reboots? None so far and hopefully never.
The darn ROM is smoother than Ivan's.
So far I haven't found any bugs yet. I'll continue to observe and see if I bump into something weird. xD
Again, KEEP EM UP DEVS!

LCD Color/Gamma Settings
LCD Adaptive Backlight
LCD Color Enhancement
LCD QCOM PostProcessing(PP) support
Disable Touch keys and enable NavigationBar
Set Vibrator Intensity
1+1 QuickBoot
Differences to CM11
Removed TrueDualBoot(TDB) support. And pls don't try to bring it back by using TDB enabled versions of CWM or TWRP. It's dead and will be replaced by GRUB4Android in March.
CM12 still supports Dualsystem the way Xiaomi designed it. That means that it can be installed to both System partitions but the userdata partition will be shared.
SDCARD filesystem detection You now can format your internal sdcard to whatever filesystem is supported by VOLD and the CM kernel. The only alternative that would make sense is F2FS though.
Improved Power consumption Use Xiaomi's MPDecision, thermald and libqc-opt together with QCOM's power HAL.
Added QCOM time services
Added Oppo QuickBoot
Use Xiaomi blobs I replaced some Nexus4 blobs with the originals from Xiaomi'S MIUIv5 ROM to prevent some unpredictable bugs
Encryption support another reason why TDB is dead now
Known Bugs
Bluetooth connection and Audio issues
Installation instructions
!ATTENTION!
There are two (annoying) problems with GoogleApps:
1) CM12 is huge and doesn't leave much space for GAPPS on MI2
2) recovery ignores errors in update.zip's which means even though it tells you the installation was successful it failed.
this means you have two options:
1) resize your system partition(recommended) this miflash package resizes your system partition without taking space from your data partition by removing the system2 partitions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-2/orig-development/flashtools-miflash4linux-recovery-qdl-t3036730
2) install very small gapps packages and check /tmp/recovery.log and the remaining space after the installation to make sure it was successful.

First time flashing CyanogenMod 12.1 your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Optional: adb backup
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
Issues?
Report them on github:
https://github.com/M1cha/android_device_xiaomi_aries/issues
IMPORTANT: if you use xposed - pls disable it and try again because it can cause problems in some cases.
Also the issue must contain important information like your phone model(mi2(s)(c)), and the exact build version of the ROM.

Oh wow, finally
You are just awesome thanks for your work
Thank you very much M1cha for you excellent work and dedication! I will try this rom immediately.
Can I ask you a question? Where did you learn to mess with the kernel and the firmwares? Did it took long for you to learn it? I have always wanted to mess with these things myself, but I always get overwhelmed with the required knowledge

Since there's not much documentation for such things u just have to start doing it and learn everything by yourself.
Also, these projects are too big to study them or trying to find a task just for learning.
The best way is to find a project idea and then u have to work on it until u succeed
Thank you M1cha,
2bad no dualboot and xposed (yet).
Dualboot(the Xiaomi way) works, and TDB shouldn't be used anymore.(u have to wait for G4A).
The information about Xposed doesn't mean that Xposed isn't compatible(it should be), it just means that before reporting any crashes you should disable Xposed and check if u still have the same problem.
incall working , also quick-boot

Hi,
You're wrong ! TDB is working (even if it shoudln't be now, GRUB is coming thanks to @m11kkaa) and xposed is now available for Lollipop : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/official-xposed-lollipop-t3030118
Btw, thank you for your job michael ! :good:
[Now that we dont have TDB (with kitkat i only used it a few times) is there any way to eliminate the system 1 and increase the system0 and sdcard partitions?
softkey vibration doesn't work.
I reserve to test this build as a daily driver and report any issue tomorrow.
m1cha, you won't let me swap my mi2s and I'm so happy with this
thanks a lot for your work!!
thx you for you work!

xposed for lollipop generates a bootloop on your CM12.
working fine on Ivan's AOSP rom.
so, don't try to flash it over m1cha's CM12!!

Tdb is not supported anymore because cm policies ask for encryption support, and this feature would break tdb. About xposed we will not provide support or let users report bug if this fw is installed, because it breaks many things

No ! I'm not saying that TDB is supported, I wrote that this ROM is working with TDB (even if it shoudln't be because G4A is coming) because I've tested it and it's true.
Concerning xposed, if it's not asking too much, what does this framework break ? Thank you.

It "just" replaces the runtime with another one with tons of hacks that will cause huge security issues, then apps will have tons of npe or other fc cuz xposed hacks them for these modules. So when u get a bug andnure running xposed the 80% of times it's xposed, the 20% is a real bug

Before anybody tries to use TDB, I explain why you shouldn't:
You won't be able to format or backup data from CM12 with a TDB-enabled Recovery.(it would backup a empty data folder). And if you will make a data backup of CM12 with a NON-TDB Recovery this backup will contain System1 and System2 data too which makes them really big.
And ofc, If you wipe Data for CM12, System1 and System2 data are gone too.
The reason is that CM12 ignores the data location set by CWM.

Wow a nice suprise, a new rom to try on find5. Gonna try and test soon!!
Seems nice but I'm having some issues with bluetooth. My plantronics voyager HD pairs fine but it doesn't seem to work with the dialer. In fact whenever the voyager is paired with the phone the dialer begins to act strangely, whether I'm using it or not.

Thanks for the comments. In future, please post in English. I used Google translate to get what you wanted to say in the comments.
Everything works fine, except for a few moments !!
1. 3g network, when viewing video, web surfing much battery consumption !!
2. When switching to wi-fi for mobile internet connection sometimes does not happen, the transition is treated in a flight mode and back !!
3. There is a heated processor and rapid discharge of the battery !!
************************************************************************
Battery consumption might be an issue. Please be aware that this ROM is still in Alpha stage. I will try to optimize the kernel and Android behavior to reduce the battery usuage. Thanks for the use-case. I will keep you posted with the updates.

Sorry, I've already moved on to ColorOS. This is the unit I was using (link)
I had the same issue with an unofficial CM 13 build I found.
Just wanted to say thanks for keeping find5 alive! The ROM is working great, I haven't yet discovered a single flaw. Battery life is good, much better than Mokee 5.1 I was using before. Thanks!

No idea. If it has the similar HW specs as find5, it should work.
You can try if you have custom recovery and are not worried about data loss [emoji56] [emoji56].
Would be great to get an answer to the question though. I will look into the specs tomorrow and tell you for sure.

Quick search revealed that find5 mini is mediatek dual-sim phone.
So this or any other find5 ROM is incompatible with find5 mini. Don't flash it otherwise you might brick your device.
This ROM is only for original oppo find5 with Qualcomm processor apq8064.
Wow, this ROM is great already! I haven't been able to find a single bug yet, and I'm using the ROM for some days now.
Performance: great. fast, no hangs, no reboots, no crashes
Battery usage: fine. in standby it uses almost nothing, similar to other ROMs. when in use it seems battery usage seems normal to me, don't think there is much to win from this older more inefficient CPU. Downclock feature would be nice (possible with Stweaks on my Samsung S4, helped a lot)
WiFi/Network performance: great. I'm using the latest modem firmware from Oppo I think. Can't choose 2G over 3G manually tough, it always tries to connect to 3G if possible now.
The camera app and lockscreen does a perfect job, no crashes or other bugs (in comparison to latest crDroid).
My top 4 wishlist for this phone/ROM:
-LVM support edit: already there I used instructions from crDroid ROM page
-More sensitive touchscreen! (kernel thing, should be possible because its a Synaptics device right?)
-USB OTG support (kernel thing, I can apply external voltage for the slave)
-'Offline' charging (not working I believe)
Well, you made me love my Oppo Find 5 for sure . It's my daily ROM now, it's so stable. This is the procedure I did for installing this ROM, not all steps needed but it surely works this way :
1. flash stock ColorOS + partitions with OPPO Chinese recovery tools for a bricked device (PM me if you want the tools)
2. flash latest stock ColorOS V2.0.0i Beta (also to have latest modem firmware etc.)
3. flash twrp-3.0.2-0-find5.img (or LVM-supported one) when in fastboost using Android SDK tools, let it update the display firmware
4. format/clean every partition in twrp, flash your PAC-rom, flash latest (zero) slimgapps (opengapps did not work, ''unknown ROM" error)
5. reboot and enjoy
Ok, after about two weeks of using, I'm starting to get Bluetooth issues with my Miband 1s. Bluetooth connection is sometimes gone and unable to recover. I have to disable/enable Bluetooth, then it's working again, at least for some time. Most of the time the issue appears when getting out of reach, but not always. It's not really reproducible I'm afraid.
I don't believe it has to do with the Miband, because on a previous 5.1 ROM it was working flawlessly. Anyone else having similar issues with permanently connected Bluetooth devices?

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see, if your device is build on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them (as long as they are LOS based), but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet available
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, your preferred root solution and reboot. Or you might just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Settings -> Navigation -> Enable navigation bar. The bar can be configured separately in its settings.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A Check this out, if that doesn't work for you ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just flash Magisk again!
Q I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the root section in the AICP Extras menu.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How To Flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM, GApps and Magisk 14.0 (Optional) then transfer them to your device
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
4. Flash ROM Zipfile
5. Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
6. Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional) - Magisk 14.0 works pretty nice!
7. Reboot to system
The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!
Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk v14.0

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

- As you know build is free but building ROM needs server and in order to maintain the source, we need High-End Servers that are generally very expensive and need to be renewed every single month and as a student its quite difficult. To meet with our technical expenses, a cup of coffee, and the efforts of the developers we need your monetary support!

Hi, I followed the installation guide on the official website:
Project Elixir
projectelixiros.com
So I used this twrp version:
[RECOVERY][3.6.2_12][TOCO][UNOFFICIAL] Stable TWRP for Android 13 AOSP Roms
Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our...

And I installed the "MIUI V13.0.2.0 Firmware" in the global version, even though my phone is from Europe

In addition, only the native camera app crashes. Like, if i open the google lens app camera actually opens. But, the native camera app comes with the ROM crashes. @AndroidHQ254

EDIT ok i got help here - any of these are fine, except the ones for Samsung, as they are esentially the same thing.
Fingerprint scanner doesnt work when in sleep, doesnt wake phone. need to hit power button then scan finger.
also, wifi button doesnt seem to toggle in the quick drop down menu. Visually.
Edit - wifi button works, just had to reboot system. maybe phone brain fart.
Any plans for a vanilla build at some point?

Double tap to wake does not work after ~5 seconds after screen off (after the always on display dims down)
* Might be related to a broken screen replacement.
* I DID verify that the problem is a software problem - flashed xiaomi.eu rom and it DOES work there.
* I'm NOT at all sure it worked even with original screen (screen was fully functional, just a few cracks in the glass)
Update:
Tried derpfest and project elixir, same problem.
also found this on pixel-experience github issue tracker...
exactly the same issue - AOD becomes too dim and tap to wake stops working.
seems it's a known problem.
