Lately I've been having weird issues, each pair of headphones of mine mysteriously stopped working in the left ear. If I wiggled it around a bit, the sound would come in and out of the left headphone.
So I got fed up and decided to flash the original firmware to take it back to the store where I still had a warranty. Once I flashed it I decided to test it, and sure enough the headphones now work perfectly. I wiggled furiously and could not get the sound to go away in the left earbud.
But from my understanding I didn't know that a firmware would be able to screw that up? I thought for sure it was a hardware problem. Can someone else comment on this? Or tell me how this is possible?
Thank you guys!
Hi .. Certainly it isn't the fault of the firmware .. its just a coincidence that you flashed the stock firmware and the headphones started working
Its definitely a hardware issue afaik ...

Hello everyone! I have a Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) which I bought 21 Days ago,and until 15/09/2014 it worked perfectly. By then,When I call someone or they call me,people cannot hear me. I tried to blow into the microphone hole in the bottom of the phone, and then they said that they could hear me LOW and muffled. I then tried to Factory Reset the phone, thinked that it could be a software problem, but nothing. Could it be that something got into the microphone hole? Do I need to bring it to Samsung Repair? Or can I solve this by myself? It's kinda annoying waiting one Month to get the phone repaired and staying without it :| Thanks in advance!
P.S: Phone has never been rooted nor CWM or Custom Rom. Left it stock, will wait some months to root.

Same problem occured to me today. I'll send it to warranty. It's hardware problems. If you try an call someone with headset plugged in it works with no problem. It's hardware related (bottom mic). Same advice to you !

Well man,I solved it! I used a needle to clean the crap that got in the mic hole, it was just a little bit but that didn't make the microphone to work as it should have. Now it's clean and works perfectly,as new :highfive:

Hello. A few days ago I lost the sound on the left channel on my N910F. I tried with different headphones (and also my headphones on other phone). The headphones are ok but I have no sound on the left channel (the headphones microphone works though). I tried cleaning the internal connector as good as I can but no luck, so I sent the phone to a samsung service for warranty. They called me the next day saying they wont touch the phone because it is rooted which voided the warranty.
Is the phones connector a separate module which I can change myself? If so how expensive is it? It also could be the motherboard... I only used dr ketan's rom and emotroid on this phone... I've been rooting and flashing samsung devices sice the S1 days (every iteration) and never heard of something like this.. that's why I'm blaming a physical issue with the connector.
Thanks.

It's the right channel which is not working, the left one is ok. I am now ordering the replacement part, if anyone interested here's how you change it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsUhVTj6Drc
I own a Samsung A5 2016 since 3 months ago. 1 month after purchase the 3.5mm audiojack started failing intermittently. I have hard reset and it did not solve the problem. Bluetooth headphones work fine. It was repaired at the Samsung service center but today it started failing again just exactly as it did before. This clearly seems hardware related but they have replaced that part of the phone 2 months ago so the problem should not reappear.
Am I the only one with this problem?
Thank you all in advance.
I broke my S3 neo's screen. after that I switched my between* S3(broken IMEI) and S3 neo's motherboards. This change works pretty good. But after two weeks I've got some problems.
S3 Neo-GTI9301Q-RROS v5.8.5-Android 7.1.2
1)My phone's screen randomly stops working and randomly stars working. This problem is started 2 days ago.
2)S3 neo's camera has Sony sensor, s3's camera has Samsung sensor(it says n7100) I'm using S3 neo s cam but camera has a stain. I'm searching a zip for this.
3) My home button isn't working perfectly. When I push home button, device rarely don't recognize this.
4) I'm new at hardware. I've got 3 smartphones, a touch screen java phone, and 2 symbians and a java phone. Smartphones, touchscreen java and one of symbians has broken screen. Other two device has weird problems. Can I get a working phone with 7 broken devices without any payment or with cheap AliExpress parts ? (This isn't relevant with other problems, I know)
Please help me
